Questions to ask the "Eye" (must be translated from English to brailien): - what do you need help with? - why are you here? - what do you want? - can we help in some way?
Suggestion: You should add mars “outposts” along the surface where you can repair and resupply. You should also experiment with human teleportation to make travel times faster. (By placing a teleporter in each outpost.)
[Incident evaluation log - 06 Codename: Turtle science] Incident summary Casualties: 0 Injuries: 0 Property damage: 0 Testing successful During the on site decryption procedure a new vehicle with an experimental auto-stabilizing unit was used. Upon the unlikely event that the vehicle is oriented such that the wheels can not touch the ground, the vehicle's auto-stabilization will move the vehicle back to an operational position. This feature was partially tested on the way to the site and fully and successfully tested on the way back to base. The vehicle sustained negligible damage during the testing. This technology may be useful in faster scouting vehicles reliant on propulsion and for prevention of VTOL and helicopter stalling. The use of this technology has been authorized for further use and development of a finalized design has received funding. All personnel are advised to consult the introduction manual for any new vehicles being used on the SMars surface and airspace. Additional security concerns: The base hallway navigation is still proving difficult. A suggested improvement is the addition of coloured strips running along the hallway walls and floor, leading towards the desired area. This will allow easier navigation within the increasingly sprawling layout and prevent any future mishandling of research material. Leaving research samples on the laboratory floor or attached to the floor without further security features is not a significant improvement over leaving it on the table in the garage, other than the prevention of unwanted interaction with the object. We do not want a similar situation to the Monolith incident. A containment chamber should be added to the laboratory for safe storage of research samples. With the current application of security measures the mobile research base is a safer containment option than the base lab. Given the meaning of the alien message the base itself may be under threat, further weapons capability should be considered. Introduction of a heavily armed vehicle is advised. Upon the confirmation of a direct threat the access to personal weaponry will be authorized.
Remarks from researchers at earth: Thank you for the in formation. We are trying to make new technology that is better at transportation on mars. Material for a safe container are being arranged. I would recommend sending a signal to resercher at mars base to not repeat same mistakes that happened in mission 127.31 code name "Monolith"
"You must help. One question per week." I think The Great Eye is actually an alien Magic 8 Ball. It can answer one question per week. (I guess it needs time to recharge?) BUT you have to help it by shaking it as you ask your question and then turning it over manually. Just like with a Magic 8 Ball. So try shaking The Great Eye as you ask it a question, and then flip it over to see if it gives you an answer. I'm sure it's perfectly safe and nothing could possibly be misinterpreted or go wrong in any way. I'll just be standing over here. Waaaaay over here...
@@daniellegammon967 Where did you get this from? a day on mars is only 37 minutes longer than an earth day. So a week (which is not a solar measurement) on Mars would also just be 7 Earth days plus ~3 hours.
Theory: The eye is sentient and has land-bending powers and can't speak. It acknowledged your presence and asked for help via ground breaking powers. (Pun intended)
8:33 Even the scientists back at scientist base are baffled as to why they all remember the translation for that one letter. We suspect it's some sort of hidden "spell" of sorts set on the specific character and further studies indicate that writing the character will yield the same results. There is theory that perhaps while also being ued as a common character, is very important, possibly referring to the eye-like entity, and therefore we back at earth base have started to call it "The I" instead of "The Eye". Thank you for your reports
Scrapman, what I think the message is implying is that the eye needs your help, and you are allowed to ask it 1 question per week, most likely because it will take it time to give you an answer. What I would suggest is that you use ask it a question via a sort of sign that is using the alien language that way it will be easier for it to understand.
Something that could be useful for organization sake is to use the various colors for the walls of the base as a way to tell which branch of the base you're in. Please do this if you haven't already, Scrapman
I suggest writing the message on the ground. I find it unlikely that this parallel race will watch this video, and writing the message either in front of the Eye or out in the open will make it so the aliens can see the message with the Eye or the Artifact
Scrapman, if you want to avoid needing to constantly change paint gun settings, you can put two in your hotbar and change their settings independently from one another, so you only have to use the scroll wheel
You should find technology that can connect to the eye and display exactly what it is trying to say (or think?), It might help with one question per week...
Add a ritual station to your base so that any kind of things u can speak to especially the thing. Adding cctvs also is a great idea to alert u when the thing is doing something weird and if the cctvs beeping become faster all of ur weapons will point at the thing and will always until it stops doing weird stuff
I’ve been a devout fan of this series since episode 1, and I must say, this one is extremely interesting. An alien language? Does this prove that, other that the other things we have seen before, that the Martians exist?
Suggestion: Create beacons to mark special locations to make it easy to navigate to them from the base. Maybe different colored columns of light. I think that would look cool
I’m going with that these alien lift forms need your help and are not evil, the eye emerged from the ground after it had saw another type of life form on the planet.
You should do another series on raft with kan again, there's a massive update coming on June 20th with a bunch of stuff, and the last time you played the game was when the game was on its very early stages
My theory is that the message says as follows, "I Request your assistance. I accept 1 question per week." So my assumption is that we are allowed one question by the monument by popular demand, or whoever really screams the loudest.
I think what the message means is that if you want to discover the mysteries of Mars they allow you to ask them one question a week so that you can leave them a written message in their language, now that you can, so that they can answer you
When Scrapman wrote "1 quest ion per week", I went like: Oh that alien ball is a quest ion! It will tell him what to do and then the nex week he gets a new one!
With breaking those airlocks on accident, you don't only have to deal with loss of oxygen, you deal with pressure lol. You would be sucked back out either as one piece or even many pieces into the lower pressure area (outside).
I think it [the eye] will give you questions every Earth week probably? And depending on the 'you MUST help' section of the message it may become hostile when you don't answer, you can aswer by writing messages infront of it, bc I don't know if it can hear you speaking. That is my theory
Your main character has reached level 16 and picked the alien translator bonus trait with all of their five gained points right before this video started.
At one minute in the episode the series ends scrap man has been violently depressurized with The blast of air coming out of the air lock No more Mars world
What I would do is, Go to the stone circle thing that you had a short time loop in a few episodes ago, and whilst in it, ask what you can help with. Hope you're all doing well.

maybe instead of "can we help" ask "how can we help" because it's already asking for help
The "What do you want" can sound somewhat rude, so it can be taken out completely. What Callum Coombs suggested can replace it as well after all.
