Non motorsports fans don't get it. It's not driving round and round. Motorsport is a life, once you start you never leave it. Credit for showing V8 Supercars in it too, not many people show it attention because its not as well known compared to NASCAR or F1 but its just as good.
Matt Cecil yeah in nascar what if your car is spinning you don’t just keep turn left no you save it, if your flipping you don’t turn left and make the flip more brutal, no you just take the ride
I'm building my car. A life long dream that has been pushed back from countless losses, pain, tears, obstacles, and sabotage. This video is life. Never give up. See you on the track
I really want to enter F1 but your parents has to be millionaires and billionaires in order to reach there ,this is what I lack and this is the sad reality of motorsport, people with talent like Callum ilot can't get into f1
@@fightingfalcon2.066 Well I can tell you right now there have been really amazing drivers in the past who started off with nothing, but after driving for a while they were able to be noticed by sponsors and work their way up. So don't give up hope, pursue your passion
Racing is life, everything befor or after is just waiting. You only start to really understand this quote, when you race yourself, or work for or in a team. Lets say the winter break, after having 17 of them in my life, as a mechanic AND sometimes amateur driver. The first two weeks are great, but after them, you just wait until the new saison starts. Nothing in life, besides your family will give you this emotions and feelings a racetrack can give you.
Still coming back to this one 6 years later. This is the video I go to when I need to extra bit of motivation, and credit it with making a lot of my dreams in Motorsport come true. Looking forward to watching this another 500 times over the next 6 years
I grew up in filth, came from the bottom and an rising to the top. I know ill never have the chance to race and be at the top but racing has inspired me to push harder than ive pushed, to go places that makes me uncomfortable and do things that down right make me scared. Yall push yourselves and never let yourself down
The ending hits in a different way. Its perfect because you get pumped up and then the video is like Motorsports... it has a bad and a really sad side.
Later this year I'm going to be racing at AFM and I've been kinda scared but this is exactly what I needed to watch to get rid of that, I'm ready to go out and push my bike and myself to the limit.
Counts [30] August 10, 2022 I started re-watching this since 2019 counts unknown but starting as of right now I am going to be updating the count every time I come back rewatching this so that the point of this is to let others know encouraging you to do the same if one day my race career take off!
When you're in the apex, pinned to your door, tires screaming, it gets you hooked or scared. When you become hooked, it's all over. You want more and more of it. Faster and faster, how can i improve? Who's next. It's not for everyone. We feel like it's in our blood. We cant shake it. I've never met a racer who regretted their decision to race.
This is so inspiring. I've wanted to be in NASCAR my entire life and almost everyone I know has told me I can't do it. Even my friends dad who I've known for 14 years said I can't do it. I've had my face put on social media because people have made fun of me so much. Some kid makes fun of me because I only have 6 wins in 3 months on iRacing. My teacher earlier this year played a tutorial for the entire class and passively aggressively told me I couldn't do it and the class smiled and some laughed. I've even been told to kill myself and have lost a few friends because I've wanted to do it. But I'm not gonna give up. Because then I would let them win. Before my grandpa passed away when he was in his death bed a week before he died I held his hand and told him I wanted to be in NASCAR and he gave me a look saying for me to go for it. And a week after he died I won a race. I've had my heart break. I have countless nights of me in my bed crying because I kept wrecking in iRacing or crying because people made fun of me. But I always say "I'd rather roll the car over in front of everyone who said I can't race, then not try." I want to go out there and prove them wrong or if I don't make it, it shows I tried and didn't listen to them and gave it my best shot. That's what I'm gonna do later this summer. Or if I don't have the money then next summer. But at some point I will race and its up to god, my talent, and time. I've even been sent death threats or being told to go die mostly and accused of being autistic and being called stupid for every little mistake. but I'm still going Edit: near summer 2021 Sorta proved myself last summer but the motor on the car started to die so we sold it so I’m out of a ride for a while. Thanks for the support guys gives me hope that there’s still some compassion in this dark world full of traitors.
hey man, from one iRacer to another, don't let those idiots beat you down. We all make mistakes and can come back better. I personally am trying to climb the ranks in karts, which is not easy at all. I feel your struggle of being fast and having that drive to keep going.
Its kinda easy. You understand this, you understand what it feels like to love Motorsport, to watch it, or to race. Or you don‘t understand it. If you don‘t understand us, you not from the same bloodline. If you do, you probably allready part of our family. It dosen‘t matter, if you race, work or watch, it dosen‘t matter for witch driver, team or series you are, or you watch. Because we are all the same!
For years, I've been needing a push. I craved being in the WEC and IMSA my entire life and still don't have a single second of track time. I don't have the kind of money and I fear that it's already too late. The truth is, I have no idea how to get into it. I'm 21 years old and everyone wants younger and fitter drivers. I know and tried every single strategy possible in Sim racers, but what will the people who run the teams say? I want thay shot more than I want my next breath. Hell, I'd die happily for that single lap at Le Mans, but how? I don't know how
I'm the only person in my family that is in love with racing. My family has no idea of how dangerous this shit is. Formula 1, SRX, NASCAR, WEC, IMSA, Supercars, Indycar are the series that I'm obsessed with.
cliche soundbites,i mean, in every motivational video you get to hear rocky any given sunday and Thomas...no ne even is trying to come up with something truly inspirational,it is a just a copy-paste method. shame....

Me too, it’s what keeps me going and what makes me feels like myself. And something I can achieve in and grow.
Me too. I get criticised for loving it, but I don’t care-I’ll like what I want to like

It's not the fastest one that wins, it's the one who says not today.
