I bought the Klein tools kit at Home Depot but didn’t really know what I was doing. This video was extremely helpful.

Oh, used a knife to strip 1/4” down to the copper wire & another 5/8” to strip black wire casing, push the exposed silver strand cover back/down over remaining black casing before tapping the connector on.

I bought one…doesn’t put connector on straight….had great success w/ vice grips to hold the cable & small hammer to tap the connector on.

Good video, You forgot to mention the model number. What about getting more compression connectors ? Do you have to buy the Klein connectors or will others work. After watching several video's, some of the comments say to only use the blue connectors. Not sure if, blue is the name of a company OR is this some type of color code.

You can use most brands of compression connectors, just make sure they are made for your type of cable (RG59 or RG6/RG6Q) I've been using the Thomas & Betts/Belden Snap-N-Seal connectors. The model number of the stripper is VDV110-061 and the compression tool is VDV211-048. Thanks for watching.

I’ve seen different colored connectors. Can you explain the color code for the RG6Q? Thanks.

have you ever had to replace the blades in the stripping tool in those 6 years you've been using it. just curious.

Even if the dielectric is pushed all the way in. The crisper would still push the cable back before it compresses

This is the third I’ve watched, all say it’s easy, all mention it’s a quad. No one mentions specs for coaxe nor fittings. Does not work at all for me. Need more specifics!! Have same tool you have - it’s adjustable, adjustment?

Come on man, how are you going to make a video and not zoom in close enough to see exactly what you did?
