I cannot stress the importance of night vision enough. As a iraq and Afghanistan veteran, the ability to operate at night or in low light without use of a white light is essential for security and to have the advantage that many do not. That combined with a decent IR aiming system and you got a real force multiplier.
@Emmanuel Goldstein absolutely as with any aiming laser it works both ways. If your opposition has night vision that’s something thats most definitely has to be taken into consideration or else you just end up a loot drop.
F _ _ kin spot on about the disclaimer at the end! I can respect that and great explanation about the butler creek lens mod. I think you explained it better than GBRS.
great video man! I've got a couple pvs-14's and will finally be able to train with it this fall. Photonis Echo tubes are a really good value for the money too. Keep up the content!
If you haven’t already snagged one, the illuminator focus cap you are looking for are from the pvs-7. I got mine from RelicRaptor solutions. I would recommend him for most anything nightvision.
Late to the party but what do you think about your NVGs now that you’ve had some time with them? Are they working well? I was curious about this brand so any input would be helpful! Appreciate your content and time!
I like them the housing is solid for sure. There are better image intensifier tubes to be had if you spend more money. However for my use these are more than suitable. It's all a money game the more you spend the better image quality and features such as articulating housings you can have.
Hope that helps you. This is an expensive endeavor for sure. Helmet , nvg, mounts, lasers , ir illuminator = lots of investment and also the time to train with them. Proceed with caution!
@@PalmettoDissidentit does….I already have a PVS -14 setup but was pondering a dual tune setup…plus I’m sure there was several people wondering the same question so I thought I’d ask. Keep it up man!! Great channel!!
I'm not sure I'll have to find the box. I tool my device into the store and sized them myself. I tried them on until I found the right size. Also note that I sized them to fit over the sacrificial lenses so that is all 1 piece for extra protection.
I suggest outright purchase. But everyone's situation is unique. If I were going to finance them I would be sure to do it on an interest free credit line. Also I would be sure I had the cash on hand to pay it in full at a moments notice. I know its a lot of money. Also you need to consider how much you will use it vs how much it costs. And also all the support items like helmet and mount and aiming devices. It's a rabbit hole 🕳 a costly one!
I have 2 pvs14s gen 3 white phosphorus thin filmed for sale. I’m selling one for $2700 and the other $2500. Both have fom ratings higher than 2300 and halo ratings .7, the more expensive tube has a 38 SNR and the other has 35 SNR. One tube is spotless and the other has a small spot in zone 2
Depends on the tubes. Low end is about 4k you can spend much more if you choose. Articulating goggles will cost you more as well when compare to RNVG'S like I show in the video.
4k- ish on the low end. Plus all the other required goods. You can spend more if you like tho and get better image intensifiers. Research is key to the nightvision realm. Email us at mandpshield9@gmail.com if you require more info!

Thanks for the review, been looking at that same exact unit from unv. Glad to hear you're happy with them.
This was a great gateway to dual tubes for me.

Thanks for your support!
Congratulations. I love my dual setup. You won’t regret it
Good video sir. Glad to see more people making good pro 2A content.

Thanks for watching! I've heard good things about Photonis.
Night vision is definitely a mission enhancer. You stand a good chance of ruling the night.
Good deal man. I'm tempted to get a duel set up myself.

Thanks man. I ended up selling the RNVG'S.
Need to get that LEMO port running on a battle pack battery pack now! Good vid man!
I have no experience with the battery pack, but options are nice! Thanks!

What size of Butler Creek scope covers did you buy to fit the RNVGS?

Size 17 Butler Creek caps. 1.674" [42.6mm]
anything special to get your impact ear pros to mount to your helmet?
Adapter from Amazon, no turning back after you butcher the headband though.
Awesome.!💪
Wouldve been nice to see some video through the tubes at night….
Never mind, I see your other video 👌🏼
Just some used commercial spec Gen 3 ITT Excelis tubes.
Nice stuff
Thank you.
