I was really sad when they retconned the Phoenix Man fight. The original was incredible. Lore reasons etc, I get it, but there were just some big missteps in the redraw. They tried to make his Prominence Hawk form bulky and Hulk-esque, I'm guessing to show his power, but the retconned version already displayed how you don't need every strong character to look beefy to be strong. Just seemed kind of basic and boring to include. Great vid as always!
I never read the redraw version, but the retconned version phoenix man fight is interesting to me because {making phoenix man rip off his custom which is what gives him the power} is a silly but imaginative way to win against such extremely OP character. It is just more interesting than Saitama showing up. Saitama showing up and resolving the fight, can be an interesting when it serves other purposes, like developing character like kings and his courage (in elder centipede fight) or developing raman rider's character or saitamas character (in deep sea king fight)... but if it is overused or used in a purposeless way, it would just be boring.
Gotta clarify that ppl don’t really die in the inf death loop, they get reverted right before they die so that they will be forced to experience an entirely different death (although if what u said did happen, phoenix man would be so op)

Couldn't phoenix have a controlled monster kill him so he can ressurect over and over? Very cheap way of gaining power but the conrolled monster woulldn't take of his suit so he basically has an infinite exp glitch.
Just being killed likely wouldn't do it. While specific to him, PM's resurrection ability, and the boosts he gets are directly related to the limit breaking process of monsterization; wherin you have to endure life threatening combat situations that push you to the brink of death. If PM allowed himself to be killed on repeat by a weaker monster he probably wouldn't grow much as a result.
He probably didn't know at first so he never attempted to get someone to kill him. Even if he did, it'd have to be someone extremely strong because of how much stronger he gets each resurrection.

Are you able to put links to your calcs in the description. Because to be honest. On 90% of calcs I’ve seen it’s easy to call bullshit. To me, if an attack has been used and it hasn’t destroyed multiple continents, it cannot be multi-continent level and I have to call bullshit. Maybe if it took down a character who survived a continental attack before I could understand it. But most of the time I’m calling bullshit. The power scaling community is sorta my guilty pleasure, but the calcing part of it is definitely the worst part.

Orochi got done so dirty man, he is a prodigy and fighting genius capable of imitating styles with a single glance, can spam blasts stronger than even rover, versatility due to metamorphosis and probably many more. I think in the final arc of OPM God will empower some characters to take on Blast's team while he takes care of Saitama. One of them will be Phoenix Man and his ability to resurrect will be more OP than ever to the point of being able to resurrect very powerful monsters like Orochi or Boros. It would be like the fourth ninja war in Naruto.

psykos orchi is a weak form of orochi he lost all of his power sacrifices when saitama obliterate his body and leave him no choice to forcefully regain his body by absorbing everything arounds him but it doesn't mean he regain his power, and foremost God choses psykos to be his host not orochi we can say it's more like psykos tatsumakis battling than orochi

To me, if an attack has been used and it hasn’t destroyed multiple continents, it cannot be multi-continent level and I have to call bullshit.

Orochi got done so dirty man, he is a prodigy and fighting genius capable of imitating styles with a single glance, can spam blasts stronger than even rover, versatility due to metamorphosis and probably many more.
It wouldnt be so far stretched to say he can spam the gaia cannon if he has time to absorb the energy.

I think in the final arc of OPM God will empower some characters to take on Blast's team while he takes care of Saitama.
One of them will be Phoenix Man and his ability to resurrect will be more OP than ever to the point of being able to resurrect very powerful monsters like Orochi or Boros.
It would be like the fourth ninja war in Naruto.
This is a very solid Theory and it will for sure surpass the fourth ninja war from Naruto, Marine ford from One piece and even the Tournemant of Power from DBZ if god actually includes the evil Saitama who failed to save earth and went beserk to fight Saitama or post future awekened Garou (without god's power) while Saitama and god clash thorugh spaces, inside black holes, in different dimensions etc...
