This is the one that deserves the #SupportLocal here in Philippines and to be honest this is way better than Barangay 143 because the promotion of this short animation is all about it's own, not reaching other country's etiquettes like Japan or Korea, other than that even the script has mixed language of both Tagalog and English yet it doesn't matter since even the locals here do that...(I think)... the animation is remarkable compared to Philippines' first local made Anime (or perhaps animation) If Philippines wants to prove the #SupportLocal they have to be made with our own etiquettes first before other country's etiquettes and practices, the first Anime and animations made from various countries are based off on their own, but Philippines' first failed to do so and why Barangay 143 really dumped most of the Anime viewers here in it's own homeland. VOICES - I love how they are talking REALLY CALM. i never hear Tagalogs talk like this! oh man...goosbumps!!!! PICS/BACKGROUND - anime mixed with real pics. LOVET! CHARACTERS - i like that there is a simple connection and a mystery that you need to listen to them. We start with Maya's eyes where we know nothing and Jana explains to the audience the life they used to have. YEY!
This is not anime it's more like a cartoon animated like story of someone that got cartoon animated. This is far from "ANIME" and also the background is just edited not a real drawing but still I like it and as a fellow Filipino I'll support you.
Maya's voice is like an Anime as well ngl I mean kung natural voice niya yun? Thats really cool and Jana's voice is cool too but its like a whisper idk di ko ma-describe pero parang she's holding her voice back? Don't be! For a single animator, this is so impressive. The scenery was georgeous. The voice acting could have been improved but overall, what an amazing series!!!
Just learned about this a while ago after my friend shared it with our group of friends. To be honest, it has a lot of potentials. I was surprised that the dialogue is Taglish, unlike other animes where multiple countries speak the same language. Keep up the good work. I would love to see more local animes made by the filipinos.
Artstyle is smooth and simple. Saturation of the colors is balanced. Dialogue has no problems and the thoughts are complete. The background music perfectly fits the atmosphere and of nostalgic scenes. I'm only pointing out the background sounds and voice intonation. With earphones, yes, it's clearly audible. The same goes with a loudspeaker. But it ruins the emotion of the character's intonation. Jana is applied here; it's semi-monotonous. All in all, that's the only issue with the video, the rest are hands-down beautiful and amazing. ♥️

Pls gib Kahewu Orenji more screen time. But this is so gooood. The dialogue could have been better but this has a lot of potential. I absolutely adore it.
