Whoever doesn't have the GHANA CARD can't reregister their SIM CARD, irrespective of being a CITIZEN or NON CITIZEN. In order to reduce the level of crimes going on at the moment.

no please, you do not need to have a job in order to apply for a residence permit but you might wanna have a business that you do so it doesn’t seem like you’re just “living here and not bringing any impact to the country” . i hope this answers your question 🙏🏼

I tried using my non citizen card to register my sim using #404# but it keep saying invalid card and I also heard a Nigerian went to MTN office to register and he was told his information are not available on their data base please can you clarify this because he has a valid and upto date non citizen card this happened in Kumasi
hello. yeah i believe the code is *404# and you are supposed to input the numbers on your ID without the hyphens… lemme know if you tried that already
I did still not going through and I even tried to link the card with my health insurance card is still not going through
So, you need to renew your Ghana card yearly as well as well as residency yearly as a foreigner? They should give a certain numbers of years(3-5) validity unless you lose the card.
For Ghanaian citizens, the Ghana card is valid for 10years. But as a Non citizen, ours is valid for a year. A permit can be for 1 year or 2years; depending on which you apply for.

Hello. As per the new regulation, it is said that one needs a Ghana Card in order to register his/her sim card. It’s now mandatory.
