Great video. Do the cards in SQ2 to the Rescue have the same quality linen finish cards that are in the original game? I cant tell from the video. Thank you
Thanks for the video. We've just played our first game. Can you make more than one move when it is your turn? For example, if I use an action card, can I then use an equation on the same turn to get a companion card?
Yes, but the queen stays asleep during the swap! And you can’t look at the queen if it isn’t in your hand so if they have multiple queens that are face down you can’t look at them before you pick one. Good question!
So my question is about the 5 card max. If you have 3 cards on your board, and roll a 3, do you draw 3 cards and then decide which 2 to discard or can you only take 2 cards?
Great question! You discard down to 5 cards at the end of your turn. So you are good to draw all 3 cards in this situation and hopefully you play a few cards over the course of your turn bringing you back down to 5 or less. Otherwise you choose which card you want to discard at the very end of the turn.
Can switch witch be used on sleeping queens? I’m also confused with companions - do you need to find a new one every time or re-use ones already uncovered?
Great questions! Yes, switch witches can be used on sleeping queens but it doesn’t wake them up if they move to another person’s hand. And the rescue companions can only be used once and they are returned to the center face up once they have been used along with a matching queen to rescue a king. If you run out of face down rescue companions to collect, you shuffle all the face-up companions in the center and deal them out again face-down. Then they can be collected and used again. Once you play once it all falls together and makes sense, nothing is too tricky about this game 👍
I don't like the Gnome, Witch and Willow cards having BORDERS. They are so OFF from the rest of the cards SPELL Cards too! Could have been great if It's FAIRY CARDS instead, knowing the theme of the game is FORESTS.
It’s eye catching and helps you remember to resolve those cards first 😊 I’m sure they play tested this like crazy after the success of the original and things like a border on the action cards made a difference.
Thank you so much for the video! It really helped me to understand some tricky moments I didn’t get after reading the rules.
So glad to hear it was helpful!
Thanks so much for all the kind words! 👑❤
Thanks for this. We love the original and wasn't sure whether it was worth getting this one but now I've ordered it!
It’s always a bit if of a question with the follow-up games, isn’t it? This one is so worth it! Glad you’re getting it!
Great video. Do the cards in SQ2 to the Rescue have the same quality linen finish cards that are in the original game? I cant tell from the video. Thank you
Good question - yes, they’re the exact same type of cards with the same kind of finish and feel as the original.
What a great review. Thanks!
You’re welcome! So glad it was helpful!

Im not certain but I am pretty sure as it says in the direction “take one or more of the below actions”
Yep, multiple actions are just fine! We played this game today too 👍
Hi. Do I have to play all cards from hand to my kingdom? Can I keep cards in hand at the end of my turn?
You can keep cards in your hand at the end of your turn 👍 It’s nice when you can play all the cards but usually you aren’t able to.
If you have a Switch Witch, can you swap a card in your hand for a player’s queen that is asleep? I don’t see where it specifies that you can’t.
Yes, but the queen stays asleep during the swap! And you can’t look at the queen if it isn’t in your hand so if they have multiple queens that are face down you can’t look at them before you pick one. Good question!
Great review. Can cards from original sleeping Queens be combined?
Excellent question - no, you can’t combine the cards because they do different things and the games have different goals.
With the switch witch, can we trade a number card for a queen?
Yes you can!
When discarding to get down to 5 cards at the end of turn, can you discard a sleeping queen?
Yep! That’s just fine. Good question!

Also, if we had enough queens and companions in our hand, can we rescue more than one king in a single turn?
Yes you can!
That looks so fun! My girls love sleeping queens. I think I may put this in someone’s stocking this year 😊
It’s pretty great. Definitely an excellent choice for a Christmas gift!
Does it work well with 2 players?
Yes, it works great with 2 players!
Thank you for the reply. I’m always looking for games that can work pretty well for two player since that’s what I have the majority of the time!
Confusing. What is the goal?
Goal is to rescue kings 👍
@@GameLikeAMother how many kings 2 win 🤔
2 players - 4 kings, 3-4 players - 3 kings, 5 players - 2 kings
She literally explained that right in the beginning of the video.

Yes you can! You just can’t switch for the companion cards. But queens are fair game!
