Even when taking my time doing my make-up trying new techniques and trying to be intricate with my blending, I've never spent more than two hours. I'd be so frustrated to pay for awful makeup and even more so if it took more than an hour or hour and a half. Judy, you are an angel.
She’s usually so chill that it was so refreshing to see her actually get frustrated. I have patience but if I told her I had somewhere to go and they did this and let someone else use the makeup I’d be so pissed.

In spanish sometimes people speak like this, eating words out of being nervous, out of the blue and say stuff exactly like that, a little cryptic lol: "...Tienes bloqueador solar" (You have sunscreen) instead of "Con esta base también tienes bloqueador solar" (With this foundation you also get sunscreen). It's like the MUA attempted to make some "pro chatter" while casually promoting the materials she was going to use but she just failed miserably and pulled back out lol. I bet that would've slowed the process even more.

Fix it? The makeup would just get taken off and redone. She has videos like that as well. She has some where she goes to the worst then to the best rated MUA’s in her city in one video. Those are good videos too.
I would be surprised if the process was anything other than take the whole thing off and start again. I doubt any serious MUA would dare dip their brushes into the way past due date and touched-a-million-faces products Judy's skin is somehow miraculously tolerating.

What she did at the beginning is actually great if that's what I think it is, she councealed the blue area under your eye with a yellow pencil to neutralize the color
I have this same exact eyeshadow palette! It's Beauty Creations Tease Me palette. super cheap, pigmented, and lasts all day. the shades in that palette are bomb, it's one of my faves.
Even if she is not a MUA, the sunscreen she used is one of the best in the market. It is a product from La Roche-Posay, Anthelios. This brand has very good products for sensitive skin (rosacea, acne, etc.). It is not oily. I have been using their products for more than 15 years and they are fantastic.
Actually, this MUA was actually not half bad! I loved her eye look on you, and the blush was not a day glow hot pink on you, thank the Lord! LOL. She actually gave you a clean towel, but her lip skills need work. But she is definitely one of the best of the worst! She was even sanitary when touching your face, i.e. no hands, just using cotton pads or a puff of some sort!
i will say, if ur hands aren’t clean enough to b touching the client’s face, then they’re not clean enough to be doing makeup period lol. using hands is fine hygiene-wise, so long as you’ve washed them
Not half bad? Not half good either... MUA fooled me too at first, but then the shitload of fallout under the eyes and the Picasso lips showed me the light again 😂
the under-eye stuff (concealer?) was very probably chalky because it was way past its due date. same with the foundation (well, actually everything - I couldn't help but comment as I watch :) ). you deserve a medal for letting these folks put stuff like that so close to your eyes and risking blindness, rash and other yummy things.

@@glossfilms4846 That‘s what I did with my hair too (wanted as close to white underlights as possible), and I got purple/pink at the roots and yellow on the rest, so, yeah… can‘t trust in such recommendations either… xD
So, if it's Elta, the recommendation is to let the sunscreen sit for 15 minutes before starting makeup. Normally I get showered, put on my toner, lotion and sunscreen, do my hair, then makeup to ensure it has that setting time. SPF requires time to absorb to be fully active.... It's why they also say to apply it to the body 30 minutes before going out in the sun. Just a little FYI for you, but still, that tint is NOT your shade, their are PLENTY of untinted ones she could have used.
After years of abusing my face doing drag makeup I had those red eye marks all the time and now they've left an almost bruised like discolouration. I should've taken better care of my skin in hindsight. Stay safe Linda's.
I didn't see what she was talking about in the video, do you mean red discoloration in the outer corners of the eye? I am SUPER pale, and I have always had those. I have finally figured out that it's from irritation from eye discharge at night. If I put just a dab of Lanolin right there on that skin before bed it doesn't happen. Maybe it could help fade yours. But if it's post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (common if you have more melanin) it might just take time. 💗

Honestly to me she seems like she knows what she does in theory, just never held a makeup brush before so she's not too good at it in practice...😅 I mean, even the towel was clean, the brushes didn't look like she fought for them with a herd of dogs...and honestly I really like the idea she went for on the eyes - the end result not really but I can see these shades looking stunning on you (done by a professional or yourself).
You know what this reminds me of? Robert Welsh once read a comment that talked about “Doing makeup on yourself doesn’t make you a makeup artist.” This particular person appears to know theory and hygiene practices, but there’s something holding her back from being really good. Not sure what it is.
@@Claire_by_the_Seashore yeah, maybe if she did it on her own face it would look absolutely stunning (I just love the colors she chose so so much), but on someone elses face it didn't work out, she even took her time to try to correct the lips...and not with an entire bottle of concealer either... If I remember correctly Robert Welsh also said at some point, that it was weird for him to get into doing his own makeup instead of others (I don't remember how he said it but I think he said he needed some getting used to it to be a YT makeup artist as well). Maybe it is this woman's getting used to doing other faces...
@@blackfairyblogchannel I remember him saying that as well. I think it had to do with the fact that he had been spending his days analyzing how to make people look their best. On YT, he had to do a combination of using his preferences for him (like nude or natural shades on his lips) while factoring in products and brands that are being launched or marketed. Not to mention, you’re going to do makeup one way when you’re just doing it, rather than having to capture the technique and result on camera.
I can't even imagine how your skin can handle all this. I am allergic to sunscreen and If I wear makeup for too long, my face starts to burn. Girl, God bless your immune system!!!

Honestly think you should get your brows tinted more often. They look so good! I know you didn't ask for it or want it but they look really good and match your hair they just fit your face better.

I think once the tinted sunscreen was blended out it fit your skin pretty well. But I agree should’ve let it absorb

Honestly to me she seems like she knows what she does in theory, just never held a makeup brush before so she's not too good at it in practice...😅
I mean, even the towel was clean, the brushes didn't look like she fought for them with a herd of dogs...and honestly I really like the idea she went for on the eyes - the end result not really but I can see these shades looking stunning on you (done by a professional or yourself).

You know what this reminds me of? Robert Welsh once read a comment that talked about “Doing makeup on yourself doesn’t make you a makeup artist.” This particular person appears to know theory and hygiene practices, but there’s something holding her back from being really good. Not sure what it is.
@@Claire_by_the_Seashore yeah, maybe if she did it on her own face it would look absolutely stunning (I just love the colors she chose so so much), but on someone elses face it didn't work out, she even took her time to try to correct the lips...and not with an entire bottle of concealer either...
If I remember correctly Robert Welsh also said at some point, that it was weird for him to get into doing his own makeup instead of others (I don't remember how he said it but I think he said he needed some getting used to it to be a YT makeup artist as well). Maybe it is this woman's getting used to doing other faces...
@@blackfairyblogchannel I remember him saying that as well. I think it had to do with the fact that he had been spending his days analyzing how to make people look their best. On YT, he had to do a combination of using his preferences for him (like nude or natural shades on his lips) while factoring in products and brands that are being launched or marketed. Not to mention, you’re going to do makeup one way when you’re just doing it, rather than having to capture the technique and result on camera.

Honestly think you should get your brows tinted more often. They look so good! I know you didn't ask for it or want it but they look really good and match your hair they just fit your face better.
