Identification
- Multiple test of the same level - not a double top
- Flat top or bottom on a profile
Why are they formed?
- Auctioning process is halted by one or multiple participants holding the price
- Constant relading of orders prevents level breaking
What happens next?
- Level breaks - the persons halting the market are exhausted and move can continue
- Liquidation away from level as those playing the break give up

This is incredibly valuable, Thanks Richard
Richard, thanks for this insight, it has got me thinking. Very well explained.
Richard, you must be getting tight shoulders and neck pain with that monitor so low. Raise that monitor man! Great video as always
very well explained, thank you
From my understanding bad highs and lows are areas of the market that are being absorbed by iceberg orders?
Can you show what a good high and a good low would look like visually please?
nice video! is it better/important to have size on early in liquidation moves? and are these type of trades ones where your traders will execute with big size?
does the footprint help add conviction to these trades? e.g @ 13:46 if there is absorption at the 1 min lows or delta divergence?
So basically, the bad high/low is a constant absorbtion of either the buyers or sellers in the acutioning process? Is it similar to a ledge?
Yes or simply the powder of those who are initiative gets dry.
@@AxiaFutures Thanks for the answer, cheers! ^^
hello what is the moving average you use please?
What is the probability of the poor highs and lows getting repaired? Do they always get repaired, eventually?
Hi Eugene. The intuition of a trader is that there is a higher chance of these poor highs and lows being repaired. There is no exact mathematical probability, but it is one clue that you can take in your day to day analysis. If other factors line up such as orderflow pace, positioning and catalyst in front of these poor highs or lows, there is even higher chance they will get traded by locals.
Bad High/Low is the same as Poor High/Low ? Didn´t quite get it
Hello, the concept is the same.
Why are you calling these bad high/low? Is there a difference between poor high/low?
When you see lots of candles that are testing the same level, it's like the race hasn't finished. Whereas a lone candle at an extreme high or low is an example of a finished race/auction.
So to answer your question, I would say there is no difference between a bad/poor high or low.
