To me, it speaks on the complacent church culture in America that doesn't want to do the work but want the status quo. "Just be patient" and "maybe it's you" are common questions I've heard from many churches. But, this exhaustion expressed to judgment is interesting.
It sounds to me like a prideful person trying to convince themselves that nothing's wrong. When I hear "forget the blood" it makes me think of someone not wanting to think about the fact that they need it in their life. They want to believe they can do it on their own. I don't think the artist feels this way, but I know some people who act like this.
Oh wait!!! I just looked up the meaning and the artist posted a video about it on Facebook! It's basically a satyr. It's talking about people avoiding admitting that there's a problem in the way they're living. He left a lot of interpretation open still, but "forget the blood" could mean "Forget about the damage you've done. The less it's talked about, the more it will just go away." He said it could be used to get someone to really face themselves.
