Thanks for the video! After waiting a week for my husband to detach the front loader, I watched this video like 10 times and did it myself! 😀
Awesome! I'm glad I could help and thanks for watching!
Love this 😅Doing the same haha
My 1025r just hit 50 hours and needs service....Need to strip it down to get rid of all the extra weight so my Ford Escape doesn't die pulling it to the dealer....This video was helpful.....Thanks!
Well I am glad I could help and thanks for watching!
Just bought one of these. I’m in Ocala, FL. I’m watching all these video to learn how to use it. Thanks for these! They are exactly what I need!
Awesome, glad I could help. How are you liking it?
JAMES SEIDEL Hi James, I just bought a small place in Ocala, what size property are you using this on? It’s on my short list, we have 4.5 acres, about 3.5 in pasture
Western Equipment absolutely loving it so far. Thank you.
First time tractor owner, Thanks for the detailed video, I’ll try this on my 1025r
Congrats on your tractor! Were you able to do it?
I wish all instructional videos were as clear and concise as this one. Most assume we know tractors and implements thus their videos are usually to fast, at a distance, not zooming in on critical steps needed especially for inexperienced owners like myself. Why make an instructional self help video assuming we’re already familiar with tractor nomenclature etc? I just watched this video and was able to easily remove and install my loader on my new JD 1025r. Thank you!
Thank you and I am glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
We wanted to get this to go with the 1025R and now it’s confirmed. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks for watching!
Wow...I'm sold. Got me a 1025R on the way. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks for watching!!
thanks for the video i receive my 1023e tractor with 120r loader on Tuesday . Looking forward to working with great equipment
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching!
Great videos. I have watched all pertaining to the 1025R. Just picked up mine today without an owner's manual. Dealer said it will take two weeks to get the manual in. Your videos are as good as having the manual. Thank you.
Thank you for the feedback and I am glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
I’ve had my 1025R for 3 years now and didn’t know how to do that. TY
Glad I could help!
Waiting on mine to get here, you just made that look super easy. Thank you, great vid.
Thank you and congrats on your new tractor. Thanks for watching!
Great video! Just got my 1025r with the 120 loader
Awesome and thank you!
Well done. Learned a lot.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
My dad just got one and now that looks so easy a baby could do it
Good deal! Hopefully this video will help!
You make it look so easy!
Thank you!
A lot of practice and thank you!
Everytime I have to reconnect there is pressure I have to release from the loader fittings. Even storing in a building in the shade. Squirts hydraulic oil everytime. I don't have a choice though.
This is strange. It shouldn't do that.
Do you take off the drive shaft from snow blower under the tractor before u add on mower doing this for father inlaw
Yes, you would have to have the belly PTO fully exposed to put the mower on. Good question and thanks for watching!
Perfect explanation, thanks, big help!
I am glad I could help and thanks for watching!
Nice vid; for me the most difficult part is plugging those hose back in -- they just pop back out. I'll have to get the dealer to look at this.
Yes, I would definitely have that checked but it could just be build up of debris that's not allowing them to lock in correctly. Thanks for watching!
@@WesternEquipment Hi, it turns out I forgot to relieve the pressure prior to disconnecting the hoses, so that made it difficult to re-connect them. The work-around was to press the tips of the hoses against the handle of a large screwdriver (or something) with paper towels or rags to catch any spilt fluid. This relieved the pressure.
Thank you for this great tuto !
Glad it was helpful!
I am having trouble getting the hoses reconnected. I toggle the lever to release pressure on the tractor and have even tapped the ends of the hoses to no avail. I don’t know if I’m just not strong enough or if there’s something wrong
The end that is on the tractor may be dirty and that could be making it hard to connect. You may check this and see if that is your problem. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Great video, thank you for making it.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
I’m really torn between the Deere and the kubota BX. I’ll be using it for pretty much everything. I think the auto connect deck will be worth it for when it’s time to go do loader work. On the 120r easy park system. I wish they’d add a piece of rubber coating over that bar. I can see it getting all marred up on my shop floor when it skids a little taking it off and on
I think the rubber on the park stand would be a great idea. I would definitely say if you're torn to go get in the seat and drive both of them or request your local dealer bring one to your place for a demo and pay close attention to the way you drive both of them and how the controls are laid out. operator comfort is key on these little tractors for sure.
Great video well explained
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Thank you show video how hook up brush hog and drive over mower
I have both of those. Here is the drive over mower ua-cam.com/video/UpT6e42JJhw/v-deo.html and here is the brush hog hookup with the iMatch system ua-cam.com/video/RzPcxrtkjc4/v-deo.html. Thanks for watching!
That's how I did it on my 2017 but on my new 2023 I have a different connection. One lever and all 4 connections come off.
Oh nice you have the single point connection! I wish they would have had that when we did this video. Sooooo much easier!
there was a break between you attaching the hydraulics to attaching the loader. I noticed the tractor has moved, was there any issues with alignment or anything that happened then?
No alignment issues, just a wording blooper. This was filmed on a day that was 110+ degrees and words were starting to escape me haha. Good catch, and thanks for watching!
Nice training vid. Good Stuff
Thank you and thanks for watching!
How well do subcompact tractors keep their value?
Craig S My experience selling an almost new Kubota BX is that it depends upon dealer and manufacturer financing available at the time. With no money down and 0% financing on a new tractor it really makes it more difficult to sell a used one and the price drops quickly.
There is a ton of truth to what Barry Blanchard said! All in all they hold their value very well, but a cautious buyer market can sometimes skew those values.
I’ll add that I was just in the market for a used one (at first) in or near Rhode Island and I found that 1) there weren’t many used ones out there that were easy to find anywhere within 600 miles of RI (so most people are clearly holding onto them for the long term), and 2) I would be spending just about as much as a new one would cost for one that’s 5 to 10 years old or more. Ultimately, I couldn’t find any deals that made buying used more attractive than buying new (especially with all the promotions and deals out there with the dealers now). My takeaway was that these machines hold their value like crazy, so I bought new with great financing terms plus the peace of mind that if I ever needed to sell it in the future, I could easily get most (if not all) of what I paid for it new.
it would be nice if you drove the tractor around after the disconnection. After I disconect it I am not just going to back it off and back on
My apologies. After it is disconnected you are free to drive and do whatever needs to be done. I just wanted to demonstrate the full process in as short of time as possible. Thanks for watching!
Thank you VERY much for this video
Thank you for watching!
Lot of good tips in this vid!
Thank you!
Thank you
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Does anyone know how much the loader attachment weights
So according to John Deere specs the loader weighs around 625 lbs. and the standard bucket weights around 183 lbs. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
One glaring error:
When you lift the loader off of the stanchions, you are supposed to keep pulling back on the SCV stick until the locking levers on the loader drop back down by themselves, an audible "Clank" ...and the transmission should be in neutral for this process. Only then is the parking stand fully deployed.
Also of note: When re-attaching the loader, it is not necessary to lift the locking levers for the install (you can if you want to, but you don't need to).
Good catch!
Great video
Thank you!
Those quick connects are a real pain in the butt
What part are you having trouble with?
@@WesternEquipment the hydraulic quick connect couplers on the loader
You said removing the loader increases the turning radius. Doesn't it reduce the turning radius?
Correct! I spoke incorrectly in the video, by removing the loader you decrease the overall length of the machine, in turn you are reducing turn radius! Great catch!
Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Great video's!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
What flew off at 5:10?
I'm pretty sure that was just a bug flying through the shot! I just watched it about ten times trying to figure it out! HA!
Looking for a back hoe to fit 1026r
Your best bet would be to get in touch with your local dealer. Where are you located?
I live in Braxton county West Virginia
Thank you for this fluff video. After owning one for 10 months i dont use the bucket often. Especially when mowing. Although please show everyone how to install this bucket after being off 4 weeks and somehow the bucket starts to " fall to earth" and pressure is now in the line. Please show how "Easy" it isnt. Please demonstrate how the psi is purged so you can put the line back on. Thats an Educational video, not this salesman pitch from the dealership.
Sorry to hear that you're having such trouble! We'll pass the word along and keep in mind this needs to be talked about in another video.
Don’t do this if your 1025R has a cab. It’s a nightmare to get the hydraulics hooked back up!
Thanks for the tip! I did not know this and had never tried on one with a cab. Do you like your cab on your 1025R?
@@WesternEquipment I do and I don’t! Pros and cons. Great when it’s winter time in Saskatchewan. Not so good when doing yard work and want to hop on and off tractor quickly. Also great when it’s windy. The cab is way to close to the hydraulics and there is no room for your hands unfortunately. I took my loader off once and won’t be doing it again.
Awesome video
Thank you!
