Ok, really glad to see we're on the same page. The Devolver stuff in particular has never been that funny to me but I always thought I was the weird one. This is an excellent way to look back at it, as the weird cringey media circus it was but also realizing that a lot of the presenters were just regular people thrust on stage, some of your best work in this one and would love to see you cover more non-review type of videos like this
What kills me is I no longer get the crowbcat E3 supercuts. I will miss E3, personally. Towards the end it seemed like a lot of media people almost wanted it gone. But it was nice knowing I could expect big announcements in the summer each year. Made the most miserable months of the year living in Florida have some hope. I also loved seeing crowd reactions to big announcements. For whatever reason, seeing people overjoyed like that gets me emotional.
There was a time when i felt the same way, seeing Peter Moore roll up his sleeves to show off his prison tats will forever be nostalgic. But after that, nahhhhh I'll just look at the truncated blurbs on the news sites on the stuff that was interesting.
Considering that so called 'hate speech' is a product of the Frankfurt school Hegallian professors who pulled that Machiavellian playbook out of their arses to break up the family structure of America from the late 50's that joke.. A. has no foundation, and B. as of 2024 aged like Milk.
I dunno, the cringe could be almost unbearable sometimes, but the memories of cringe will be treasured forever. This was a nice retrospective Scott, good job
Greg Miller is brutally awful. He truly represents everything that makes games media awful, embarrassing and clearly biased. I don’t believe he’s ever actually enjoyed playing games he just wanted suck his way to the top of games journalism
Friends ask me if I'm going to watch these advertisement theatres and, no, I have absolutely no desire to. They turn my turds into liquid. No-one on stage has had a normal human interaction in their life.
I could never bring myself to watch any E3 content, I could care less... so this is a perfect video summarising everything I ever needed to know... and of all the cringe. Great video mate!
Thank you for this video Scott! Love your channel and this was hilarious from start to finish. ❤ I’m so glad E3 is dead, you would only really ever hear about it when people were taking the absolute piss out of the cringe out of touch humour. And this video perfectly portrays just how much E3 was a yearly shit stain on gaming. It almost felt like an inside corporate joke to make fun of the consumers, but without realising the people on stage were the butt of the joke themselves. 😂 Keep up the good work mate, this style of video is what I would like to see more. Just more embarrassing, cringe inducing game moments. With you just being brutally honest about how shit it is 👍
"Corporate ghoul, Dan Mattrick, in an interview with 'Android' Geoff Keighley..." The nicknames are so on point and hilarious lol this vid was full of little nuggets. E3 really was so totally fucked by the looks of it. I never knew shit about it really, other than how everyone would talk about the highlights after an event went down.
E3 died because all the publishers like Nintendo, Sony Microsoft, and etc. didn’t wanna show up they decided to make their own video game showcases rockstar is infamous for not attending E3 and announcing their titles on their own platform so this is why E3 died publishers didn’t have to attend and the pandemic played a hand in it too.

Aww thanks mate, yeah Ive been itching to branch out from game reviews and this was the most fun I've had making a video in a long time
Haven’t reached that point in the video yet, but just, let me also say, I never found them funny either.

"used car salesman come hate speech enjoyer" is the best description of Musk I've ever heard, holy fuck lol. great vid as always Scott

I'm so glad to see you got the help you needed to move out of the cult of Cage. Great video, mate!
"ridge.....racerrrrr!
"giant enemy crab"
"599 US DOLLARS"
There were good times to be had.
Oh look! It's a good video by a stellar ass UA-camr! Rare to find that these days! Good job being a good youtuber nerd!
6:31 I hate how much I laughed at everything here 😂 would love to see more videos similar to this if possible. Very much enjoyed this
You want more embarrassing moments in gaming history?

The thing is, early Nintendo directs, including the one from E3 2013, were prone for buffering
And your point is?
I love your content you funny child born out of wedlock!
i agree with your take on Devolver, it was "ok" at first but it got insufferable every other single time.
I mean after covid all the big companies decided just to host their own event leading to E3 losing intrest overtime

Dude you gonna blow up
I miss E3 at it's prime, even the cringe 😞
Yeah there was apart of my childhood where i was rabid about it. Staying up half the night watching it live, but ohh boy did it fall hard in the 2010s
Why am i even subscribed to this channel
Awww I feel that buddy!

No, you have to be creative!
