Although in our everyday life naturally occurring ice may seem like a slippery inconvenience, be careful before you wish it would all just disappear instantly.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Floating ice has already displaced all the water it's going to. 7/8 of it it is already underwater. If it melts it won't raise the water level at all. Most of the ice in the world is already floating in the ocean so all of it can melt and the water level will stay the same.

2. Google the total surface area of the worlds oceans.
With basic calculations even if ALL the entire ice in the world was on land and melted into the oceans it would not raise them more than 200 ft. But most of the worlds ice is NOT on land. So whatever claims they're making are completely laughable. Get it? Please try to follow and understand what i just said before you respond.

It doesnt hurt anyone to redesign our system to be more eco friendly with the goal of zero carbon emissions. It benefits future generations who will have to deal with our reckless consumption behaviors. We cant ignore science or our extinction is inevitable.

We really don't. Sure there may be 5000 years until *all* the ice melts, but with more ice melting 5-10 years from now, 20-30 years from now, we'll have no Miami, no New Orleans, no certain parts of New York, etc. Our children and grandchildren won't have the luxury of seeing amazing cities and parts of the world that we did. Key animals that are incredibly important pieces of the food chain will die out. Mosquitos will thrive given the increase in sea level leading to more diseases. We have until 2030 until irreversible damage is caused to the earth's ozone layer by Co2 emissions. And more Co2 = less oxygen leading to people with breathing problems such as Asthma, COPD, Lung Cancer, and other illnesses dying or having more complications. We are moving in the right direction with electric cars, but there's not enough to keep up with the increasing population. Fracking needs to stop, pipelines need to be destroyed, and we need to move to recyclable energy and products overall.
