I know I have already commented, but your style of teaching is excellent. Revising each concept after the introduction of a new one is a very, very critical way to imbibe full understanding of the concept. I never thought I was good at SoM, but you've cleared concepts like no one has ever been able to, thank you

An excellent video, thank you. I just have one query. When you show the 15N example as the shearing force running length ways, you say that the complimentary shear is also 15N. I do not think this is the case. The shear flow is given by q = SAY/I. So the value of the shear flow at a distance "x" from the free edge would be q = S(xt)Y/I. But if you integrate underneath that it would be the area of a triangle, (1/2)(q)(x). So I think in this case the complimentary shear would be 7.5N. Also, consider that it is not truly complimentary in that there is a free edge along the length. What do you think? Thank you
