So when Moses held the snake up on the staff anyone who was bitten by a snake would be healed and would live. Numbers 21:9 (KJV) And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. So looking at the bronze snake upon the staff and being healed is symbolic of Jesus dying upon the cross and saving us from our sins. There's more to it concerning the brass of the snake but I'm not familiar with that part. The bible does not say anything about "pythons" but it does talk about serpents/snakes and yes they are the representation of satan/evil/death in the bible.

Think you have to be a little bit crazy to go down after them, even armed to the teeth. That could be the one place you really would want an AR-15 _with a bump._
