As she said in this interview...it's her job even if she doesn't like it she has to put that make up on her face.. basically what she is saying is that she needs to look a certain way because her job demands that otherwise who is going to watch her and people are already proving her right because they often say look how she ruined her face with plastic, she look like rakhi sawant or anything. It means people want her to look a certain way and if she is not in her best health that would be visible on her face too.. so to have a good opportunity in this industry somewhere you have to put your personal choices aside and have to follow the rules and look good on camera is one of them.
Excellent interview. Have always liked sushmita. I am a couple od years younger than her and watched on tv when she won miss universe. It was a great moment for our generation. Ash was already a model, and 21, so we didn't identify with her. It was a let-down when Sushmita chose acting, and initially she was bad at it and more known for her affairs. When she adopted renee i was in college. It again made me sit up and think where she was at. Through the years, she has been a mum to two girls, improved as an actor and speaks wonderfully. I hope she stays well, does better work and her daughters do her proud. And yes, i wish she gets a good, solid man.
My mother, who worked as a construction worker have raised her three children, has never experienced any of these interviews. The stories of celebrities make me laugh - it's interesting to see how fragile some of these individuals can be.
