I had this on tape! The special was okay and I don't really remember anything of it By this documentary was my favorite part and i never forgot about it once after all these years! Thanks so much for reuploading this!
Ironically, this VHS tape is the final peanuts special Charles Schulz lived to see the production of but this was eventually released seven months after Schulz’s death.
2:02 Charlie Brown actually eventually did 2 out of 3 of these things CB kicked the football in "Its Magic Charlie Brown" CB team won the baseball game in the "Its the Big Game Charlie Brown" CD-ROM
Charlie Brown will invite Linus, Schroeder, Marcie, Franklin, Pig-Pen, and probably Peppermint Patty to his birthday party but he won't invite Lucy or Violet
I remember seeing Pied Piper on eBay and wanting to see it very badly. I bookmarked the page on my family's old computer and it was on the Netflix DVD rental page. Now I have seen the movie finally years ago, Pied Piper was created after the death of the Peanuts creator Charles Schulz.
"In March of 1952, Lucy Van Pelt was introduced to the gang. She represented all the fussbudgets of the world. She was also the perfect antagonist for Charlie Brown." -Charles Schulz
I actually have at least two ideas for what could be done for the future of Charlie Brown, two specials. 1.) "It's not the same without you, Charlie Brown" - A special inspired by "It's a Wonderful Life" starring Charlie Brown as he discovers what life would be like without him in a half-hour dream sequence. 2.) "Charlie Brown, the boy who would be king" - A doppelganger of Charlie Brown who happens to be a ruler, decides to switch places with desperate Charlie Brown. Charlie Brown however doesn't know how to run a kingdom, while his friends praise the Charlie Brown look-alike, and enjoy the new "him" for a while. Both specials would be flash animated, and be made for the first time under the current owners of "Peanuts", 20th Century Fox, and have it air on Fox.
I definitely love the first idea because it is directly taking the concept that was executed in What a nightmare, Charlie Brown we’re snoopy has a nightmare about being an arctic dog after knowing how overly civilized snoopy is.
I wouldn’t say the peanuts are owned by fox. The peanuts property is currently owned by Wildbrain LTD, and Warner Bros owns the home media rights of the previous peanuts specials made by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson including Happiness is a warm blanket, Charlie Brown in 2011.
"In September of 1952, I decided that Lucy should have a brother. So we introduced Linus to the gang. The idea of the security blanket worked well in the strip. He was also the perfect friend for Charlie Brown." -Charles Schulz
Of all the torment Lucy puts Charlie Brown, Linus, and Snoopy through, Schulz said in 1997, "You know, the kids in the strip-it's kind of a parody of the cruelty that exists among children. Because they are struggling to survive."
So has Charlie Brown losing his baseball games and failing to fly his kites been based off of Charles Schultz’ reality? All I know is Charlie Brown failing the football kicks are based off of Charles Schultz playing football with his family.
Yes he did and that's good and he finally spoke to the Little Red-Haired Girl and now everyone respects him Well Linus was always respectful to Charlie Brown same with Schroeder
@@paultebo7668, on the bright side, Charlie Brown managed to kick a football twice. Once in It's Magic, Charlie Brown when Snoopy made him invisible & again in You're in the Super Bowl, Charlie Brown when he & Linus were preparing for a football pass & kick contest.
Well Mr. Schulz in some spoofs of Peanuts like Family Guy and Charlie Brown Murdur3rs, he was actually able to succeed in kicking the football. I'll send you guys the links soon so you can see for yourselves.

"The way Linus treats Charlie Brown is very different from the way Lucy treats him. I wanted to have Linus be this kind of smart and wise kid who knows better and to have Lucy be the opposite. It's pretty interesting seeing two siblings act very differently towards someone. Linus is nice to Charlie Brown, but Lucy is mean to him. So that's a pretty understandable example of a bad difference." -Charles Schulz
Charlie Brown thinks that nobody likes him but I'm pretty sure that's not true because there are actually some people who do like him and Linus is one of those people same with Snoopy
The ones who do like Charlie Brown are Snoopy, Linus, Schroeder, Franklin, Woodstock, Marcie, and Sally (and maybe Peppermint Patty) The ones who don't like Charlie Brown are Lucy, Violet, and Patty (and maybe Frieda)

Well, that concludes the real era of Peanuts. And what a way to go. I wonder how much of this Schulz lived to see.

@@NickNackStudios20 Oh, I didn't know that. What did he think of it?
Linus and Lucy
How about Linus Not Lucy
I used to have this Peanuts Classic on 📼
2:02 Charlie Brown actually eventually did 2 out of 3 of these things
CB kicked the football in "Its Magic Charlie Brown"
CB team won the baseball game in the "Its the Big Game Charlie Brown" CD-ROM
He also flew a kite in the 2015 movie.
Charlie Brown actually has kicked a football before the only time he hasn't is when Lucy is holding it due to the fact that she always pulls it away
and now. The special presentation.
It's the Pied Piper, Charlie Brown is the best Peanuts special of the 2000s
How about they make a TV special called Happy Birthday, Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown will invite Linus, Schroeder, Marcie, Franklin, Pig-Pen, and probably Peppermint Patty to his birthday party but he won't invite Lucy or Violet
R.I.P Charles M. Schulz
(1922-2000)
I'll never forget Charlie Brown, Snoopy, or Linus. But I will forget Lucy.
It is because She always pulls the football away from Charlie Brown, then He falls flat on his back, and kills himself?
@@D.W.Granata
Yes and also because of how mean and nasty she is to Charlie Brown, Linus, Snoopy, Woodstock, and everybody else
Dayum that is a long closing!!!!
A Charlie Brown Celebration was back in 1982
I'm curious of how Schultz crafted the "Ive gotten kissed by a dog" gag when Lucy is forced to get kissed by Snoopy
That gag is so funny because it serves Lucy right for being so mean and nasty to Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, and everyone else
"Ugh! I've been kissed by a dog!" 😂🤣
It serves you right Lucy
Linus: Hooray! Snoopy won!
Charlie Brown: Way to go, Snoopy!
Lucy: Nooooooooooooo!
Linus: You can do it, Charlie Brown!
Lucy: No, you can't!
I ❤ dogs

Good history of the Peanuts gang!
I'll never forget Sally, Pig-Pen, Peppermint Patty, or Franklin. But I will forget the other Patty.

Is that mean Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang will live on forever
Yeah. There's _The Peanuts Movie_ , which is mostly CGI-animated by Blue Sky Studios (yes, as in _Ice Age_ and _Rio_ to name a few).
Indeed. No holiday season is complete without Charlie Brown & his crew.
