Merry Christmas Jo. It would be okay for you to not talk all the way through if you don't feel like it. I love when you do talk but if you need to cut your stress level down a bit then you should do what is best for you. And, yes I agree Christmas can be sooo very stressful. I actually had to opt out of gift exchanging altogether because of the stress. That's why I like Thanksgiving so much. All the fun but none of the stress, unless you are the one hosting.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a notification that you uploaded on Christmas Eve! Thank you for all you do for us, and I hope you didn't stress yourself out to much this year. I wasn't feel overly Christmas-y this year, so I did a dark purple (MG November Rain) with some silver cateye polish and stamped snowflakes. It looks like a galaxy with snowflakes instead of stars 🤣

Gosh, beautiful work. I love both the clocks and the center stripe nails. I have so many questions. I recently got interested in stamping and watching your stamping video, good tips, and thanks. One question I have is about gel polish..."If you do 2 coats of solid color, do you put under a lamp after first coat and then again after second coat? That then leads to my next question..."You talk about buffing or wiping to remove the stickiness from gel... but should you not remove the tacky/stickiness if you plan on stamping next? I ask that second question because I notice people use a "sticky" base coat when stamping. So does that mean there would be no need for sticky basecoat if you don't wipe off the stickiness from your gels after cureing? I really would appreciate some insight. Thank you so much.
Thank you! ☺️ Yes you cure each colour coat before the next, and I think since filming this I realised that leaving the second colour coat (or whatever you put down before stamping) tacky is good because the tack does help pick-up the stamp - however!..If you mess up a stamp, and need to wipe the nail to start again, then technically you'd want a buffed surface instead of a wiped surface, so the top coat has something to grip to. So it's good to stamp on to the tacky layer, or a buffed layer. Hope that makes sense!

Watching you work is so inspiring for me. I am not a nail tech and only started experimenting with nail art for a little less than a year. My point is that I too experiment as I go…sometimes with fairly good success…other times not so much. I really appreciate your art and your voice overs. I literally started having a mini panic attack when I was passively listening to your upload while I was doing my practicing and typing and unpacking. Let me explain; I'm disabled and tend to get more on my plate than I really should have. (By this I mean starting a billion projects whilst looking for something I needed for the project I am actually working on currently- if that makes sense)
