The thing I enjoy about playing Ball is it's like it's own minigame of how many people you can distract. SO few heroes can really chase you down, but people still try to do it. And once you get 2 or 3 people chasing you your team has such an easier time of teamfights while their Reaper or Brig is hoofing it after you lol

Yep! I really don’t understand why people are complaining about Ball after we were just subjected to a Hog/Orisa meta… I’d rather watch paint dry than go through that again.
And yet supports lives are even more miserable.

Its just because the buffs are new and people are trying him out. He'll go back to being a niche pick soon enough. I love to play ball. Everyone is acting like hes the most unreal tank in the game now. Its silly. He got lifted to the point of playable for the first time since ow2 came out. Even Flats just out out a video saying he's OP. But the enemy ball he was referring to had to swap mid march because they were losing so bad. Thats not OP at all. If you have to switch off a character they aren't OP. Its just a new season flashy headline to get clicks.
Imagine if Hammond could reverse road hog hook an enemy with the grapple
Widow can technically do that.
Ball gameplay is very entertaining

The worst thing is when you have a wrecking ball teamate and they do fuck all, but when you play against them your entire team ignores them and the support keeps dying
The only downside I see to buffing ball is. Sombra is pretty much a must pick now. And the game is almost never fun when she’s strong
Neither is it when ball and widow are aswell the fact you have to swap 3 heroes just to counter a good ball is stupid

Lol i say ez in chat when they Pick sombra she Can only hack and do no dmg and if i search for her and find her shes dead only counter sombra does is hack and then lose every 1v1 shes like a standby protector for support but as soon as she goes to front Lines support Can die and she Will die too cus she rarely win 1v1 sombra trow Pick imp unless u a god u Can but that goes for all char tbh
what is wrong with Sombra being strong?
@@ramenemu_4376 playing against a that character appears out of thin air, hacks you, starts loosing the fight despite getting the drop on you, then disappears in to thin air again. It’s just really really annoying to play against

I mean, if i had to choose a tank to be meta, it would be Reinhardt, but hammond is a close second.
IMO two worst tanks are roadhog and Reinhardt
I feel like ball is a little too good now considering there's way less stuns. Not sure he needed this much. Great video btw!
He did need this much because before the buffs you would need to do three times the effort for half the value of other tanks.

@@philaltmann6252 Can you tell me how will people counter ball? Every push ball will have focused healing, a shield that saves you from quite literally any danger, can escape any situation.
An unkillable tank, with good mobility is quite frustrating to play against.
We just have to wait if in the future strats or patchs fix this.

Ngl. Zarya is the worst tank rn. She has the lowest wr of any tank. She's kinda suffering rn, especially after the nerfs. I feel like it's rlly situational when she's good, and she relies a lot more more on people now to be good. Roadhog can still basically one shot if he alt fires before he does the regular one shot combo, there's also the tech to step further into the hooks which is a bit more difficult but it still one shots. He still has insane sustainability and can survive the most ridiculous things, his ult is still busted and pretty much a guaranteed kill on every character if they're in it, also don't forget about his compensating scrap gun buffs. Hog genuinely is better than zarya
Symm would have been better than the reaper against ball. Slowed by turrets and you'll be able to teleport back every time he got away from him here

Can we talk about the reaper for on targeting emon for 5 minutes straight and used as well
I’ve been absolutely feasting on Mercy and Kiriko players on Ball. They may have to tune down the arming time on mines, but overall this was a much needed change for the health of the game.
They remove cas stun actually really nice but then they give him a Homming missile that does ok dmg and he already do so much dmg if u know how to aim then he is so easy to get kills with
I see everyone tryna learn ball in my quick play games lol. it’s been interesting
Video idea, Make your own challenges for point, group play, open que. Boops with atypical characters, death traps, ult combos, funny interactions, holding from awkward vantage points, etc...
I adapted to being super hard to kill before the buff, now that the buff happened it's kinda ridiculous. Plus the ult buff is crazy when timed right. Day one I got a triple and a team wipe with no setup, just spur of the moment got the ult, team's dying, send it.
Whenever I play ball my team is super salty cuz I get 4k mit and 2k dmg by round three

This is the most balanced overwatch has been in a hot minute. Cant wait for them to release another pay to win character in the next season battle pass 👍
