yall ruined his legacy. Yall didnt know how much he meant to the basketball community and i cant say rest in peace to him without thinking about these kids shitting on him and they never knew the legend
kobe's high jumping 2 motion shot is the reason why he was such a great shot creator. but it was also the reason why he couldn't shoot the same way he could all last season. it was due to injury & his legs not springing up as well. if you watch kobe's made catch and shoot shots from last season you'll actually notice he doesn't jump as high when in rhythm
@@ceciladams4882 I only partially agree. Dirk's shot is similar just more exaggerated. Only Dirk barely elevated at all but was still able to get his shot off easily because of his length. So if you're Dirk tall, you can use this release. If ur Kobe tall, 6'6", you still can use this release without elevation. Just speed up the release and complete the release at the point your legs and hips extend like Curry. If someone jumps during the negative motion of the shot, drive to the basketball. Its not hard to tweak a shooting form to work for you.
But coach how do I shoot a left handed 3 pointer, being a right handed player, while fading away in the corner with the shot clock running out - all without ever practicing???
That's still pretty fuckin tall, and no. It's not a myth, just look at them. Bill Russell jumped over a dude, go watch Wilt Chamberlain Archive it's really something.
Duke Togo maybe but 7 foot is a bit ridiculous, think about lebron agaist Isaiah Thomas. They would have about the same speed of the the first step because lebron just freakishly fast
Kobe's set point is way too high for most people out there which will make the long range shots extremely difficult unless you have long arms and you are quite strong. So it's more recommended to learn Jordan's jump shot as he demonstrates the perfect triple 90s when he shoots. Plus,Kobe learned his jump shot from him and added a little bit of adjustments.
which ever player i watch the most, i tend to copy their jumper and moves. So after watchig hours of kobe or mj i just feel like i can do every move. I nocked down 3-44 jump-shots with kobes j you just need rythem and power and his right you need comfort :)
get coach can u make a video on finishing stronger to the goal I'm not scared to go but I only layup with one had so the defense just kind of move me off balance and ill miss
nice video bruh I like how you talked about counterbalancing with your legs and kicking your legs forward when you shoot. not alot of people do that or know about it
Can you do a video on knowing what moves to combo accordingly to the defense. Some NBA players or basketball players in general do a variety of moves depending on how the player is being guards. I just want to know what moves go best with the type of defense. Thank you
or is it ok to have different set points for different skills as long as you practice the set points for the skills for example jump hook, fadeaway, and a normal jump shot
Hi Collin. So i have a two motion on mid range and close range but when im behind a three point line i gotta use one motion and it works fine and i have pretty decent shot i think but do you thing that i should change my shot to one motion and shoot like that everywhere or it will be ok if i practice the two motion shot?I understand why the one motion is easier but i don't like it on close range ut just doesn't work for me. but if you would reccomend me something i would try to do that. Love your vids bye
can you do a video on how to beat a full court press as a point guard? I'm in 16 A division and all the teams are doing it, but its quite tricky for me to get through it. Thanks.
I swear I'm 5'8 and I tried to shoot like kobe, it was not a good idea I was getting block everytime I shot the ball. This jumpshot is only for tall people. I kinda change my jumpshot to a carmelo anthony type jumpshot because I mostly play against tall and athletic people.
This was basically how to shoot off the dribble lol but anyways, I can't do a two-motion shot. I'm way too weak for that. It feels as if I lose all my power throwing the ball over my head and back.
Djthegamer988 I thought so too. I’m 5'7 120 lbs and I legit just practiced midrange all summer, then using heels and sweep to shoot threes. It’s a long time to learn, but it’s definitely is possible
my AAU coach just said I'm gonna be center this year, I'm used to playing small forward, I'm only 6'4". Any advice?? (that's why I keep asking for post drills)
Cole Privott Learn guard skills. 6'4 is short for a center, if you have go guard skills then you'll be where you should on the perimeter. Also look at the dream shake and Kevin McHale for good post moves
The drill that u gave us when goibg to the right u use your right leg (im a righ handed shooter) and when going left u dont use your right leg. But is it good dift my left leg out when im going to the left even though im a right handed shooter
I hope Jalen Green find this blue print to fix his shooting mechanics. I am concern of his shooting form. It looks ineffective against taller defenders. I hope to see him study Kobe's play style and apply it in the game.
For me this shooting form is the most hardest like i try to fade away but not is the fast way maybe im too slow to shot like that during if the clutch time
Can u help me? Guys i'm tricky when i have a ball. teammate of right side checked by defender tightly but other defenders are stay away from that floor.(I mean has much empty spot). teammate of left side got easy check by defender. but there isn't empty spot.(defenders are gather that spot). in this situation where i should pass?
rip kobe and gigi forever they will be remember and loved♥️😇🙏

100! He last season jumper looked a bit different and you could really tell he didn't have that lift on his shot anymore.
i agree. kobe's shooting form last season was a little different. i didn't look that great as it use to
@@ceciladams4882 I only partially agree. Dirk's shot is similar just more exaggerated. Only Dirk barely elevated at all but was still able to get his shot off easily because of his length. Torn Achilles will do that to you. Worst injury he ever had and it was good enough that he made a comeback.. missing some spring was to be expected.
But coach how do I shoot a left handed 3 pointer, being a right handed player, while fading away in the corner with the shot clock running out - all without ever practicing???
1,000 SUBS WITH 1 VIDEO you can't unless you're kobe
1,000 SUBS WITH 2 VIDEOS underrated comment
Wes Hardin but kobe practiced more than anyone
Kobe did practice left hand shooting back when he injured his right hand
I guess so 😕
I recommend to do a video on how to shoot over a bigger defender
Nathaniel Miska pretend to drive in and do a step back. use you're quickness, taller players are slow.
Not all taller players are slow, I mean, I know Wilt and Bill Russell don't play in the league anymore but they were very athletic for 7 footers.
@John doue Quebec yep. Create space and fadeaway

kobe has the most dangerous, unstoppable, beautiful jumpshot... and also the most effective jumpshot in clutch either three's or mid range...

You can have the high set point if the shot is flat the key is to finish high with the follow through. Back to one handed form shooting
Kobe’s shooting form was more complete before his Achilles injury.
KOBE IS THE G.O.A.T.
Rest In Peace my brother and also his daughter😭😢😔

Definitely helped my jumper thank you 🙏
I shoot with currys form but I try to jump as high as I can and really get unnecessary arc on the shot. It works for me, surprisingly.
Rip kobe😕
This whole time I was just swinging my leg on the pull up going right cause I saw Kobe do it lmao didn't know there was an actual reason for it!

can I use Kobe's form for only his fadeaway/counter balance if I practice the form but for ever other jump shot I shoot from my eyebrows?
Samuel Wilbanks Just shot normal but use the counter balance.
Samuel Wilbanks Yah that's normal I do the same.
I hope Jalen Green find this blue print to fix his shooting mechanics. I am concern of his shooting form. It looks ineffective against taller defenders. I hope to see him study Kobe's play style and apply it in the game.
