A fixed camera option instead of over the shoulder would have been cool. I noticed that like with all modern media, in movies and games, they give way too many hints that a jump scare is around the corner. It creates expectation and ruins the surprise. Nemesis absorbed too much oxygen in the remake. It didn't feel like a natural hunt. He was amazing overall, but it was almost like you just knew, like the developers put so much focus on that one thing. Created too much anticipation for it. His mutations were forced, not natural like we see in this game.
@Jay Harv28 CAPCOM already stated it took more liberties with RE3R, the word "remake" is used very loosely. It is more of a re imagining but obviously you are not going to title the game RE3 re imagined. I disagree with the folks who bash the "remake". It was a great game which vastly improved the plot( characters were fleshed better and the vaccine sub plot added another aspect to the story which the original missed the mark on.) Personally, it is becoming a game which I love and very much so. Also, can you argue there is a hotter chick in the RE series than this new Jill? Nope, Nemesis will tell you too.
Honestly even the remake as a standalone was a sheer disappointment, compared to what RE2 Remake had to offer. Scrapping off major areas, disappointing story compared to the original, Nemesis being lamer version of Mr. X, and Jill trying hard to sound like a badass which does not fit her personality at all. Above all, very short gameplay filled with QTEs and scripted sequences for the most part, so very limited free will, and here's the worst part: RE: Resistance. Seriously, this was something no one literally asked for. And this isn't for free but you can get to play their generic Battle Royale after paying 59.99!
The look & feel and atmosphere as a whole is unbeaten. No modern games can deliever this art anymore, it‘s so sad!! I played them all back then and I was 20 already in 1996. RE3 is one of the greatest! 👍🏻

To be honest I was a little disappointed with the remake. Capcom had removed so much content from the original. I think what they should've done was remake it like they did with RE1 remake.
for they even removed the intro where the police officer fight the zombie, I know much the remake will be suck, though still quite fun to play, but too short

This is exactly as I remember the game, all pixels. There were scenes I never saw until watching this video and I have played this for years. Very, very well done!
I think the term “art through adversity applied here. The limitation of the tech at the time forced them to brainstorm and come up with something worth playing. Today the priority is glossy visuals and taking control away from the player in service of an on-the-rails experience
@@lapss9342 Yes, the new games give you more mobility and resources, walking, running, dodging, shooting, the mechanics are a thousand times better, more polished, I love the old games, but people do not recognize their problems, they`re easily visible.

Still 100 times Better than the "Remake", more content, puzzles, horror, and of course nemesis feels like a real menace, What a wasted oportunity to do something even better with the new engine Capcom.
Neon Pizza ofc the graphics will be good in the remake. It’s 2020. It’s a good game for newbies but as a remake it’s shit... when u call it a remake u gotta give a remake. They should’ve called it a pre sequel or something and let us wait longer for the actual remake. I’m so disappointed!
@Neon Pizza I own all the RE games spin offs included and I think they aged fine I love both classic and modern I can always go back and play the classics especially RE2 and RE3 , plus at least if I play Classic RE3 I can solve the puzzles and go to The R.P.D as Jill and also go to the park and inside the Clock Tower and also the Grave digger worm boss. In the remake when Jill escapes the Train she climbs out into the streets and right into a Boss battle with Nemesis and then it goes right back to Carlos so you basically just play Jill again for about 10 mins , It feels at that point we should of gone to the Park and Clock Tower. Remake 3 was still very fun but could of been a lot better in my opinion. Also dissapointed they removed all of Jill's unlockable outfits except STARS outfit and that Mercenary mode was cut. Resistance which I have played for a while gets a tad dull and it's a shame that resistance is the only game getting updates while the main game is left to die , at least RE2 Remake got some extra DLC to extend it's life.
@@captainjaber5610 the plot ? the plot follows from the classic already, that's why it's a remake, not reboot. Eye candy babys. Games was about the experience and trials, not the cinema bullshit.
Number 2000 yes it does follow from the original, but the remake has a better narration and character build.... Also, the vaccine played a more important role with substance in the remake. Anyone that thinks the plot in the original was better obviously did not pay attention to the remake.
This was masterfully done.....especially against Nemesis. He is the worst part of hard mode and you whupped his staple-faced, tentacle porn-watching ass all over the place. Kudos to you sir.
The music in this game creates a very dark atmosphere. You can really feel that you are in a apocalypic setting. The graphics even though old enhance this feeling perfectly. Even the voice acting is amazing. Not just the main characters like Nemesis saying Stars. But even the subtile background noises. Whenever you are outside you can hear the scream and voices of the zombies, which raises the tension. The only thing that kind of kills it for is actually you xD. And I don't mind you personally but you playing this game. It kills the tension knowing that a pro is playing this game and won't ever take damage, let alone die. Takes out the threat of the zombies.
The Original Resident Evil 3 had more stuff and plot. The Remake feels like someone is telling you what happend, but he totally forgot some points of the story.

That is without doubt some of the finest playing I have ever seen. You took no damage. You collected herbs and ink ribbons for fun. Just outstanding and brilliant to watch. Will definitely watch more of your videos. You are ace!!!!
OMG. This game was my favorite growing up. You just can’t get over the nostalgic music and atmosphere. Man I miss the days of playing RE2 and 3 in the early 2000s. Screw today’s era of gaming
Yeah got memories of playing them as well as watching my dad play the first Resident Evil I played 2 and 3 back when they first released I was a little kid and they scared the hell out of me but had tons of fun even making guns out of sticks and role-playing the games out from memory good times
This sends me back to my childhood. Playing this when I was 7yrs old in 2000! Omg .. 🖤
I love you 😙

As a standalone game the Remake is quite enjoyable but as an adaptation of this masterpiece it's very disappointing
His mutations were forced, not natural like we see in this game.
remake sucked
As a standalone game the Remake is quite enjoyable but as an adaptation of this masterpiece it's very disappointing
Above all, very short gameplay filled with QTEs and scripted sequences for the most part, so very limited free will, and here's the worst part:
RE: Resistance. Seriously, this was something no one literally asked for. And this isn't for free but you can get to play their generic Battle Royale after paying 59.99!
I burst into tears when I saw that PlayStation startup and heard that noise. I hate the present, I should have appreciated being young more
That opening music from the intro when she narrates still gives me chills after all these years
The look & feel and atmosphere as a whole is unbeaten. No modern games can deliever this art anymore, it‘s so sad!! I played them all back then and I was 20 already in 1996. RE3 is one of the greatest! 👍🏻
The classic RE are the best

Judging from how this dude inspects all interactable objects in the world, he is surely an experienced player. Good job mate, so entertaining. Love it!
I remember actually having nightmares of Nemesis after playing this game as a kid (his depiction in the live action movies didn't make things better). I tried to run from him, but as per usual for dream logic, you barely run at all. You already know what happens next.
tentacles?
me too, those were some sleep less nights.
I still having a nightmare got chased by nemesis sometimes.. I dont know why.
OMG you took me back for more than 18 years, when I was playing such wonderful game with my best friends
You kicking Nemesis's ass with just a handgun at the start and the way you avoided him had me all kinds of impressed 👍
This is just art man, you didn't use no meds no savepoints and fought Nemesis like you did because if it was me i'll have shit myself and died a couple times and died some more and more and on top of that .. you finished the game in one take without being hit one single time !! this walkthrough should have an award on itself
To be honest I was a little disappointed with the remake. Capcom had removed so much content from the original. I think what they should've done was remake it like they did with RE1 remake.
Yes, we need Shinji Mikami back to take RE project again
Even Live Selections too.
fauzi tri hastari where is he?
for they even removed the intro where the police officer fight the zombie, I know much the remake will be suck, though still quite fun to play, but too short

Austin Murphy yes i noticed that too. He inspected every single one of them.
The voice acting holds up so well! Nothing compares to these old gritty games. I tried watching a play-through of the remake- but it's just no where near as creepy.

Thank you for reading everything in the game, i have always done the same in Dino Crisis 2. the best part of these old ps1 games, is how much the devs tried hard to make them interesting, that something simple as a wall has a description on it.
Your movements and evading skills are cold against Nemesis💯
I am so glad you got this up here. When I first played this, I was stuck on the water test, thought I get back to it latter. Then during the move, the disc got broken, and that was the end of that. Now all these years latter, I get to see how it ends, lol! Great game play!
The fact that the remake remove so many things make me comeback playing this one, and I finished 4 gameplay in a day. I cant believe it myself. But I just keep coming back for the alternate route

Perfect, thankyou. by far a better game than it's new version!
The thought that I was playing the original Resident Evil in 96' a few years before some of you were even born puts a smile on my face. Gaming really does bridge a gap between people. I just recently bought RE2 remastered and RE7. Can't wait for Village to come out.
I remember playing this together with my cousins when I was 9. Time flies too fast. Life was good back then.
Still 100 times Better than the "Remake", more content, puzzles, horror, and of course nemesis feels like a real menace,
What a wasted oportunity to do something even better with the new engine Capcom.
I love this game but I prefer the remake, better plot, character build, Nemesis had superior mutations and a much better compliment to RE2 remake.

More like tellin the story and wasnt even there

Check out 1:39:45. After all these years, I never realized them blinds were strong enough to let an full-grown human adult through, then keep dangling and giving the zombies a hard time, and after every zombie got in through them, they are just shaken up.
