This series of videos is amazing. I do a lot of miniature based wargaming but really looking to dive into the boardgame chit based world. Thanks for putting these together!
Western Tabletop Well thank you so much, I really appreciate that especially coming from someone with your experience and background. Thanks for commenting!
@@GeekGamers01 Hum... Are you sure? For Mosby's Raider, the map appears to be folded paper, not mounted, with all the charts on the right side of the board, including the CRT. What I find very interesting in this table is the differenciation with battle size - large, medium or small - for what seems to be kind of an old game. This concept is found in more recent games such as The US Civil War or Nations in Arms, which are not that innovative then... (at least on this chapter!)
@@CougarForUTube Sorry, man, you're right, it isn't MR. I filmed that vid 4+ years ago and just don't remember. Games go in and out of my collection all the time so the only thing I can say is that it was from a game I no longer have and last played a while ago or else I'd remember. I'll post the answer here if it comes to me.
Excellent series and I believe you might just have hooked my wife (which I have tried to do for years)...one question...what is the game shown at 7:29? I'm not recognizing it and I have a feeling I may need to order this one soon :-)
Thanks! I can't believe it...that must be the ONLY Decision Games map that I haven't looked at (too busy filling in the collection from the smaller games up). And being solitaire should also be a big help. Thanks again and I look forward to more of your videos on wargaming.
Ett Btt Conflict of Heroes. It has gorgeous maps tho alas for me personally I didn’t like the game and traded it away pretty quickly (after spending a lot of $$ on it, also).

Superbly done. There's danger of this series becoming the classic intro to wargames!
Very much appreciate your thoughts! :)

Hi! Thank you! Curious: what is the game at 1:20? Looks like one of the D-Day games but don’t recognize it.
It is: D Day at Peleliu- great game that I’m pretty sure I made a vid about.
@@GeekGamers01 Thank you for the quick response! I VERY much enjoy your videos. Thanks!
@@rsedan My pleasure and I’m glad you are enjoying my work.
those conflict of heroes maps are pretty amazing. ambush! is nice and clear though
Agree. Both maps are indicative of wonderful presentations in very different styles and eras.
Hi!
Great vid'!
What is the game shown at 7'?
I’m pretty sure that’s Mosby’s Raiders (a great solo-designed game)

Great stuff but you cut at some points your speech to early for the next scene.
Thanks. Yes, that's true. I had some editing issues on this one.
