- Hey, everyone! It is time for the 2024 Year Update and Q&A video. Last year was a busy year and this year is already shaping up to be even more busy with exciting things on the horizon. I will start off by filling you in with updates on Coaster 2105, trip plans, and video projects I'm hoping to complete this year. After the update, I will answer many of your questions that you asked me on UA-cam and Instagram.

Hey Mike, thanks for featuring my question in the Q&A! This is the first time I have had my question featured in a Q&A! I have been watching your videos since I was a little kid and you have never failed to keep me entertained!

Thanks again for answering my questions and I understand you surely did have a lot of questions from everyone else of course but I know that there was one last question I had for you but I’m not sure if it has a straightforward answer to it but it was “Do you happen to know why some locomotives on certain Class 1 freight railroads have flashing headlights like Norfolk Southern and CSX as opposed to others that don't have them like Union Pacific and BNSF? For example, most GEVOs and Dash-9s on Union Pacific and BNSF have straight headlights shining bright when blowing the horn or ringing the bell whereas those on CSX and Norfolk Southern have flashing headlights instead. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing soo much more of your amazing content in 2024!!! Well done!!! :)
The airplanes galore sounds like a good video. You'll get a bunch of interesting planes including special livery airliners, active military planes, and any planes from WW2 that are airworthy.
And the can of Pepsi was the most humorous thing I've seen so far on this channel

You should definitely check out the Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad in Marquette MI! It's apart of the iron industry on Lake Superior!

Hey, don’t know if you’ve ever heard of them, but I recommend seeing a very nice shortline called “Finger lakes railway” in upstate ny and/or their subcompany midcoast railservice, in midcoast Maine. If you’re wondering. Their New York roster has B23-7’s, U23B’s, GP9’s, GP10’s. In Maine it’s 2 B23-7’s.
Will you keep adding Toy Train Galore Videos and where is Toy Trains Galore 6 ?
That series is currently on hold. I'm hoping I will eventually be able to bring it back but we shall see.

I know you mentioned your camera and camera settings but what are your thoughts on 50 fps vs 60 fps? I have always found 50 fps railfanning footage from others (like busofdoomfsx in Melbourne) to feel way more realistic and less choppy, don't know if you've seen a similar thing happen but it has been interesting since I've thought about switching over here for some NA railfanning based on 50 fps.
