Excellent coverage of such a densely packed campus! For 13 years I lived in the Haight-Ashbury district, which was only a 5 minute walk east of this campus. Before that I lived in the Sunset District and commuted to work on the N-Judah street car, which passed by the campus. I have fond memories of SF! Thanks for the great areal shots!
@@rickshearer Thanks, Rick. Glad you liked it. I could've done a better job if the weather was better too. I didn't know you lived in SF! Where do you live now?
@@rickshearer I felt the same too when I looked at the footage for the first time on my computer. But it still hides a lot of the surrounding places. Maybe I'll make another video from there at some point.
Thank you Donnie! Believe it or not, it was established around four years before UC Berkeley. Then it got affiliated to UC Berkeley as just the medical department of UC Berkeley. It got full administrative independence in 1964. But it got relocated multiple times and experienced multiple renovations. It also has another major campus which is even newer than the one in the video. The new campus is located in Mission Bay district in San Francisco and it was established just in the 2000's. Maybe I'll make another video from there at some point.
Sorry, it turned out to be super cloudy on that day.
For me, you are the best UA-camr because you regularly fuel my dreams.
Thank you! Glad to hear this. It gives me the energy I need to keep going!

@@CampusMania Yeah, I stayed in SF for 20 years after graduating from SFSU... Now I live in Vancouver, WA (next to Portland, OR)👍
@@CampusMania The fog makes the video special!
@@rickshearer Oh, I didn't know you went to SFSU! I was planning to make another video from there because my previous one is getting old now.

UCSF must not be as old as UC Berkeley and LA, mostly modern buildings. Another great video.
Thank you Donnie!
