Thanks for the tips and exactly what I needed to see. I’ve always been a good driver of the ball and decent with my irons. This was all due to good hand eye coordination opposed to a proper swing. Worked hard the past 3 months to fix my inside swing with my irons which has been very successful and I’m striping them consistently with good calculated distance. However, hadn’t been able to work on the driver and my last few rounds I’ve been trying to swing the driver in the same manner as my irons and pushing everything. What was once my most comfortable club became a crapshoot. I’m not a fan of hitting drivers off mat tees so now that our courses are moving back to grass, I’m going to work on this concept. Fortunately my irons are good enough now where I still shot 83 on a challenging course the other day while spraying my drives until I finally put it away for the 3W.
@@CogornoGolf Follow up. Took this to the range yesterday and hit about 125 drives. The tip around 8 mins to reach down to the right knee to get a proper shoulder angle was gold my friend! Won’t write another novel and simply say that the tip got my shoulders tilted correctly and transformed my drives from a low ball flight with limited carry to a high ball flight that was carrying 270+ with crappy range balls. Just wow and THANK YOU!
Great help thanks gents . With hands I keep lifting my right over my left hand on the back swing and hitting right .I’m left handed will have to look at a video on hand and where they need to be on back swing more thanks again
Eric-setting up with the driver you have more tilt at address compared to irons. What is the result of this once you factor in rotation into impact. Does this translate into more side bend at impact? I'm specifically referencing trail shoulder forward with side bend as has been demonstrated by you when discussing compression with irons.
Because my angle of attack is down wouldn’t my set up with a wood more closely resemble the set up of my irons than it would my driver aside from ball position
Hey Martin! For me personally I'm never concentrated on a certain point. Its more like when I am driving. I'm looking at the road but I'm not REALLY looking at the road. Its in my field of vision. I have worked with players who prefer to look more toward front of ball with iron and more back with Driver. But I do not think thats a magic bullet
Hey Stanley! The clubhead is working DOWN and RIGHT......but the HANDS are working UP AND LEFT through the ball Thats from the lead shoulder working UP AND BACK from the extension and tilt of the body through the swing
Great stuff! Simple stuff but so important. Thanks guys!! Off to the range to practice some of this....
Thanks, Andy!
Another one of my favorite videos. Hitting up on the driver is very important. You should revisit driver upswing.
Thanks Steve!
These video uploads seem to know exactly what I'm needing before I go to the range and practice! ⛳️🏌️♂️
I'm keeping an eye on ya ;)
Nice. The subtle differences was very informative and easy to understand.
Thanks, Ronald!

Our pleasure my friend!

You got it Barry!
Great video Eric. Is the swing plane is same? Particularly , at the last part of back swing. Thanks.
Thanks! To keep things simple lets say yes!
Really excellent straightforward info 💪🙏
Appreciate it!!
You are on a roll!!!! Excellent.
Thanks, CK!

Yes that's exactly correct. More right side bend at impact (head more back)
I really found so much value in this, thank you guys
Glad to hear that--thanks, Chad!

Well, that would make it MORE down, no? How down is too down?
I would follow what the great did---proof is in the pudding.
Best I’ve seen but where exactly where you looking at the ball on iron or driver is it the same or different? I know there is a difference

Why did 2 od the best ball strikers of all time Jack and Hogan play their ball position for every club just inside the left heal?
Lots of players keep the ball around the same spot...its one option!
I talk more about that here: ua-cam.com/video/sJd-0eEQU0w/v-deo.html
Love it
Thanks!!
With irons if you're hitting down on the ball why aren't you leaving a massive crater in the ground?
Hey Stanley!
The clubhead is working DOWN and RIGHT......but the HANDS are working UP AND LEFT through the ball
Thats from the lead shoulder working UP AND BACK from the extension and tilt of the body through the swing
