I LOVE the fact you don't connect it at the beginning. I started making on last night and it twisted and I unraveled it. This works for me. Thank you!!
This scarf is life!!! I love it!!! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. This scarf pattern was easy, adaptable, and gorgeous 😍 Thank you!!!!
This is the way i like to crochet my scarves. It just seems much simpler and faster. But you can finish desired length and connect🙏💪👍👏👏👏👏😍thanks great tutorial
Captions are available or headphones are an option to try. I watched the tutorial in the middle of a loud party of folks talking over board games with captions on and it worked very well. 😌✌🏼
Thank you so much for watching! With size 5 you can double strand if you want to. I’ve used size 6 one strand and that was enough. I feel like you can get away with using size 5 double strands to make it extra squishy!
Beautiful scarf and that color looks great on you💛 new subbie here😊will definitely be making this as soon as I get that hook. I'm actually very excited for this ...its so easy too can't wait to make some for the kids. Edited: got my yarn in that exact color and my hook💛.
Hi, Ashonti: I love the simplicity and the look of this scarf. Could you please let me know, whether you doubled the yarn? Because it looks like 2 yarns being used together at the same time. I'm new to crocheting, so I could use all the tips I can get. Thank you so much for your help.
I appreciate you so much for saying that. I’ve been battling hypothyroidism and a few other things in life but I’m planning to make a strong comeback. Thank you for watching ❤️
Hi Ashonti. This scarf looks lovely and I want to try it - I'm new to crochet. I have one question, did you double up the yarn as it looks like you are crocheting with double the yarn, so are you using both skeins at once...? Thank you.
Hiii!! Tysm for this pattern ☺️ I'm gonna use it for a bday gift! I was wondering how much yarn you had left if any? I want to make a headband too but I'm not sure if I should buy an extra skein?
@@marielittle690 no Marie, she doesn't HAVE TO. It would be a courtesy for those to be able to hear her better. She is a great instructor, however she is quiet. Your very sharp remark is not nice, not at all. Sandi complimented her work, appreciated what she could hear and was polite and kind. You on the other hand are not. She said Please and Thank you. Shame on you Marie. Ashonte is a talented instructor. And I appreciate her sharing her talent. Thank you Ashonte. I will look forward to your projects.
I watched this in a loud party full of people talking and playing board games, heard her just fine, plus you can turn captions on... That doesn’t work? Headphones are an option as well.
Hi. In order to begin crocheting with the two strings of yarn, did you unravel the whole thing, then fold it in half and start in the middle? Or did you use both sets of yarn and put them together? Thanks I’m advance!
Hey! With this project, it’s really up to you on how long you want it to be. I would start with a chain of 112 and then slip stitch to the first chain to make a big loop. Then place it around your neck wrapped twice to see if it is the length you desire. Or you can just add 3 to 5 more stitches and that should be fine.
In the beginning of the video, I say to crochet a chain that is long enough to wrapped around your neck twice or however many times you would like it wrapped. Super easy.
Definitely depends on your speed as a crocheter. It doesn’t take me longer than an hour to make. I sit without breaks and I whip them up pretty quickly.
If it is increasing that means you are adding a stitch somewhere. Check the beginning of each round and make sure you are not slip stitching into the top of the chain but into the first dc of each round. Usually that’s where people usually get a little confused.
I LOVE the fact you don't connect it at the beginning. I started making on last night and it twisted and I unraveled it. This works for me. Thank you!!
I’m so glad it worked out for you!

Hi 👋🏽 no I didn’t unravel the whole thing. That would take forever! I just used the two skeins side by side and pulled as I went along.
How much yarn was needed for this project? Am new at crocheting and I love this easy to follow video !
2 skeins of Red Heart yarn.
Foarte frumos .
mulțumim pentru vizionare ❤️
Hey, beautiful work ❤️❤️ I want to make this but I only have 5 balls of 25g yarn. Do you think it would be enough?
Thank you so much. Honestly I am not sure. My guess would be maybe you need 2 more balls just to be safe.
@@Nicosenju Thank you, I thought so too
Question do you have a video or beginner pattern for a head band to match scarf
That’s a great idea 💡 I’ll be working on that!
What is your favorite color that you've crocheted with or your favorite yarn?
My favorite color has to be medium thyme. It’s an olive green color and I just love how it looks when it’s done on any project.
What happened to your fingerless glove tutorial? It was so good.
Hi, I am using a 10 hook. Do I still chain 112? Or I do I chain more because I'm using a smaller hook size? Thank you
Hey! With this project, it’s really up to you on how long you want it to be. I would start with a chain of 112 and then slip stitch to the first chain to make a big loop. Then place it around your neck wrapped twice to see if it is the length you desire. Or you can just add 3 to 5 more stitches and that should be fine.
@Ashonti Reneé Crochet thank you! Amd still make 10 rows. I feel 10 rows weren't enough to cover my hear or customer head.

Making another one
Where did you get the leather labels
Should I still use double strands with using chunky/bulky sz 6 wool yarn?
No just one strand!!
Magic circle
?
Did you have measurements for this? Curious about how wide/tall it is in order to go over your head.
In the beginning of the video, I say to crochet a chain that is long enough to wrapped around your neck twice or however many times you would like it wrapped. Super easy.
Aah thanks im doing it today..
You’re more than welcome. Thanks for watching!
Where do you order the labels 🏷
I purchased my labels from All This Wood LLC on Etsy. They are awesome!!
Hey where did u get your leather labels from ?
Hey 👋🏽 I purchased them from All This Wood on Etsy. They are fantastic!
Wanted to show my scarf with mix colors
Couldn’t find your shop. Have you changed address?
It’s ok to do HDC instead of DC ?
Yes you’ll just end up doing more rows than you would with dc
This takes longer than hour to make or is it me?
Definitely depends on your speed as a crocheter. It doesn’t take me longer than an hour to make. I sit without breaks and I whip them up pretty quickly.
How many rows
Watch the video.
I need capital closed English I’m mother deaf
I got it thank you so much ❤️😄
💖🌹👌😍
Help i love this scarf but when i get to row 4 it seems to increase ive checked and havent add any stitches 😭
If it is increasing that means you are adding a stitch somewhere. Check the beginning of each round and make sure you are not slip stitching into the top of the chain but into the first dc of each round. Usually that’s where people usually get a little confused.
Thank you thank you 🙏
I know it has been two years but please link the link down here
What link are you referring to?
Doesn't a infinity scarf have a twist in it?
Yes
'Hard to hear. But 🙃
