  • This is the last match that I played using DMS Scandal, where I played agains an opponent with similar TTR (1800-1850).
It was a close match, but I could be better in some of the receives.
    Blade: Andro TP Ligna ALL
    Antispin: DMS Scandal 1,2 mm.

as usual. excellent short video about how hard and funny TT life of modern defender is. you are always positive irrespective of the result - that is the main purpose of table tennis 👍

I have a little suggestion, i am a anti player aswell you receive the serve with same handling so the opponent gets used to it and knows what he/she can do with the ball i will recommend looking at videos of other players what they do with serve receiving.
Also on your own serve serving sidespin get them annoyed AF if you serve with side they read take the ball with anti and the sidespin is reversed the other way the ball can go floating left right left right or it bounces on the table and shoot away.
Good video and a nice match!

Thanks for the advice! That's a good point, but I'm normally afraid of putting some variation in my receiving game. Should definitely try more stuff.

@tohidtt yess no problem sir, what i do is receiving a serve like luka mladonovic, sliding and pushing it to the back of the table this takes care of that they dont know what to expect what can give me highballs to smash or balls that i can push short over the net in a corner that they cant reach and delivers me almost 6 points a game at receiving minimum. So try thing out in training its the best way to learn new things.

I'm not quite as good as you, but I still think you change your equipment too often: in just one year (i saw in your videos) you played with ox, non-ox long pimples, and changed 3 or 4 antispins.. and maybe a few blades also... it's hard to adjust fine shots with so many equipment changes...

Yes right, I agree . At the end he lost confidence, feeling, matches and money.

Thanks! And thank you for watching the videos.
I do it cause I enjoy it, and I'm aware of time we need to adjust to any equipment. Plus, for example, the antispin technique is the same no matter which one you use.

@@tohidtt I disagree with that tbh. I think there is a considerable difference between antis with and without damping sponge and how they are played. I only started playing antis 2 months ago but before I got mine I tested an ABS2 and an ABS3 and I think the difference was quite noticeable

Thanks for your comment and sharing your experience with the rubbers!
Although they're different in terms of playing characteristics, but the overall technique is the same. Just like using normal rubbers, you don't have to change your looping technique when changing your rubber. You might need to adjust your bat angle a little bit, but everything remains the same. And that adjustment takes 2 sessions to get used to.

Sure, however with the ABS 3 in 2.0 I feel that I need to play an active stroke because the sponge absorbs that much energy, while with thinner sponges I needed to play passively. I guess if we compare it to inverted rubbers: It's a bit like the difference with chinese sticky rubbers and european tensor rubbers. With one you have to do a whole lot more then with the other.
Good game btw. Was really entertaining

improve your receive of serves closer to the net, it is a bit far for now and easier to attack

relax your wrist and practice to buffer fast serves, it ia all about wrist tension/@@tohidtt

I play anti on backhand aswell, i can assure you i will beat you even with a "normal" rubber on my backhand side... just accept that players love doing other stuff and that this make table tennis not the same as tennis and other ball sports we have much more variety and that makes the sport so awesome!!
