I went to Algeria for a month to meet my future husband and his friends and family. I asked what I should wear. I was told to just be myself and dress the way I normally do. In my opinion I am a modest dresser anyway.

Kim second husband is in prison for murder with his brother they killed two cops. She went from California to North Carolina to meet & marry him in prison. It was annulled after two years. Then she had a felony conviction for forging checks. Very disturbed woman.

I find the traditional Nigerian clothes to be so beautiful and I’m always amazed and confused by the reluctance of some the Americans to wear them, especially when they are meeting family and wanting to make a good impression.

About spicy food: I have experienced cooking traditional and American food with seasoning that is common in my culture for an "American Eagle" lol. What I learned is that she had a different meaning for the word spicy. Even if a food is not spicy (as in hot) it can still be considered spicy because it has seasoning in it. I was shocked lmao. Some people are really living their lives with just salt and pepper. Which is fine but culture shock was...palpable😂😂😂

In my elementary school, we had a unit on Nigeria. The teacher was an excellent educator and we were living in a time when black people were learning to appreciate themselves. We learned there were Yoruba, Ibo, and Hausa people. in Nigeria. We each chose a tribe for ourselves and dyed fabric in our people’s colors. I remember writing the longest report of my 9 years and by the end, I could draw a map of Nigeria free hand. I guess Kimbaaalee never had any good lesson about other people, like we did.

They are from the same county-San Diego but I believe she’s more from the La Mesa area (as I’ve recognized some of the places they have filmed at). Ed and Liz were filmed around Imperial Beach and Coronado area. San Diego county is huge-mostly cities but these two live closer to Mexico USA border.

She lives in the San Diego area. Our food in Southern California is spicy and with lots of flavor. We have many influences from around the world but mostly from Mexico. 🫔🌯🌮We were just ranked for having the best tacos nationwide. 😊🌶
