For those to want just change the tire: simply detach the side shells, disconnect the motor, unscrew the 12 big screws (6 per side), slide out the motor with the pedals and change the tire like in KS-16 or KS-14.

Those pads don’t come off that easily. You have to practically rip the pads to get to the screw holes. Holes should have been left so you wouldn’t have to pull the pads away to expose the screws. They don’t show you that in the video.
If I need to change a tire, it might be easier to buy a whole new KingSong 18L instead. lol But really, thanks for this video. It's a nice reference for working on this wheel.
