Thanks for a video explaining how to balance hairstyles with different gown styles! I’d love to see a follow up video of your recommendations with gowns with short or long sleeves. I’m leaning towards a more modest wedding dress but don’t love the idea of my hair falling out of an updo halfway through our event.
As long as you have a talented stylist, your hair should stay put at least until crazy dancing ;) For me, it really depends on the neckline of your gown. If it's higher, then updo to show off the gown. If you have a low back or low front, then hair down could work! Usually for long sleeve gowns, I see hair up because brides don't want to cover up the sleeve detailing with too much hair.

Great question! I think that could totally work as long as your hair stylist can create volume for you. Or you could do a really low updo where it's placed off center, so you can see the bun from the front.

I'd honestly have to see it to say for sure. Usually I prefer hair up for long sleeve when it has a high back AND neck so your hair doesn't cover all the beauty. If a high neck but low back, you can have it down and curled with some hair pushed back (see the thumbnail of this video for example)

Kate Spade glitter Keds!!! You can put inserts in them for extra comfort and they're so cute. Plus, you can wear them after the wedding with dresses, shorts, etc. I have them in black and white and love them!

Here are some I am pondering: Photographs are so imporatant to me, if we split our day should we ask the photographer and videographer to cover both days? If we dont will we regret not having our actual ceremony documented? If we split our day to have a small ceremony on our date, should I wear my dress and full outfit on both ceremony and reception days? What are the pros and cons of this? We are having a farm wedding and it is important to us we get lots of cute photos with our animals, is it a good idea to look at this as a way to have more time for this on our ceremony day? Or will it be easier/smoother to do all photos (including family, protrats and all general photos) on one day (moved reception day)? Maybe pros and cons of this also. What are some tips to make our changed/split wedding feel special even though it isnt what we planned for so long? I know from your videos you also split you ceremony and reception, how did you find this and what made you chose to do this? What are some advantages of split days? One I thought of possibly was more time to capture photos on both days and even a chance to see photos before reception and get to change things or know what might have been missed possibly (we dont mind paying extra for this) do you agree with this pro and are there others you can think of photo related or general. If your hair will be down, would it cover up those back details? If so would you be sad they won't show in photos? If the answer is yes then I would consider wearing your hair up or having it be down but kept to the side so it doesn't block the back detailing.
I am going with a traditional ball gown, illusion neckline dress with long sleeves (getting married in the Catholic Church, and I like my sleeves, thanks) and no one even talks about this kind of dress or what would look great with it. This video didn't really help at all.
I covered several neckline styles and you can apply your neckline to what I covered. If you have detailing high up, then wear your hair up so you don't cover it. Also, instead of leaving a comment like "this video didn't really help" you could just ask questions and I would be happy to help :)

Honestly, it depends on your hair type and stylist. I've had brides' hair down that held all day long.
