Dagger duchess problem wasn't having more health imo. Doesn't change the fact that someone can mess up and not get REALLY punished.
Health nerf is the safest option for now! If they reduce her dagger ammo from 8 to 7 that means a hog will get an extra hit and basically change a lot of stuff. They might do it tho but not now
Well, most people played duchess with very spamming decks that tend to draw to take advantage of the fact that the duchess has a higher chance of winning draws
Exactly but now it's a trade off, you're using the safest tower in the game to bridge spam, but you have less hp than the princess and are useless into tanks. Canoneer is the same but is good into tanks, bad into swarms. And Princess finally has a role again, best against swarms, bad dps but highest hp so you can tank more cheap damage
so you can build your deck with this in mind, so golem is still gonna be played with duchess so you don't have to respond to things and cycle decks will be probably better with canoneer because they struggle against tanks but can easily defend bats at the bridge.
My idea is that she should have the same damage per hit of the princess, because the 2 shots a lot of things princess 3 shots
watch them add a 3rd evo slot now

Evo bomber can go disappear
Sadly it will still be used as they didn't touch its dmg so players still know that one evo Bomber connection to the tower can win games. But atleast an evo bomber getting 2 shots in the tower is not as bad as the old evo cracker doing half the tower's hp in 1 collateral splash.

just use arrows in every deck and you're fine against half of the evos (skeletons, archers, firecracker, bomber, wallbreakers, bats, even barbs if you log them too)

Firecracker might become even stronger than before and be overpowered, but I'm not sure. It's definitely going to be less busted than on release at the least, and arrows are gonna become borderline obligatory, but this seems potentially way too much

Arrows are already obligatory if you are F2P. Not only because of Firecracker but logbait and cycle decks in general. If they nerf Arrows, I immediately stop playing

absolutely solid balances. i feel like mortar is undeserved though, they should've kept the health but make its first hit come half a second after deploying rather than instantaneous

I think the death shockwave for evo tesla is underrated af, there’s been so many times where troops are crowding the Tesla after it’s already been activated, and a death shockwave would come in clutch

I only ever used the evo tesla for it's splash damage I didn't even know it had increased hit points.
Frr I don't even care about the health nerf since I use Ice bow I just need the stuns
True, the Hp did help it a lot but Tesla was already such a solid card on defense even before it got its evolution. The death shockwave is gonna be cool. Also, probably really clutch on defense.

Evo skeletons nerf is honestly hard to judge because they're in a really weird state where Evo skeletons are both really strong but really weak at the same time, so balancing it is kinda a nightmare.
All the other evos got nerved big time if they didn't nerf mortar and rg then they would become broken compared to the other evos

Best balance changes I’ve seen in years . Wanted some cool buffs to some underused cards but I would much rather them focus on reverting/toning down the BS they have been adding

Devs ADMITTING that EVOs have been OP, maybe even broken.
They should rework the xp reward system in order to gain new evolutions faster since you can only get 1 shard and 3 random in the season shop and the level 15 cards give 50000 xp whilst level 14 ones only give 2000 but getting level 15 cards without paying takes very long
The season shop ones arent random, they are based on the release date of the evolutions, from earkiest to latest

I would say it's just a rework. The death shockwave is gonna help but gotta say the extra HP was usefull too. Might be as good as it is rn.

It’s for sure a nerf. The high hp was the only reason matchups like lavahound were possible. Now fireball can take out the majority of evo Tesla.

I think the dagger duchess nerf kinda misunderstands the problem with the dagger duchess. Obviously it’s a nerf but, the problem with duchess was the fact that it was so ridiculously good against certain win conditions. Hog, ram, battle ram. Stuff like that just crumbled to the duchess, and it still will, I’m curious to see how this affects the usage though.
Playing miner wall breakers is a nightmare against her
battle ram still counters, just use ice golem, noob

Helps make the other towers more useful though. That higher health just made you obligated to use dagger dutchess because if it came down to spell cycle, the tower with higher base health has a huge advantage.
This is going into the right direction for evolutions the only thing that should change is the ability not the health, the counters should still counter the evolved version of the card

Literally every health buff has caused an issue. (except maybe the valk becuase no one uses the evo slot on valk even after the buff). Dare I say it, but launch Evo Knight could have probably been just fine without it's health buff.
@@amarebarriner5895You sir are dumb , an evo should'nt change how a card interacts with spells , With troops interaction changes must happen , but spells should always have the same outcome to using them , otherwise why even have them in your deck if they don't give you that single interaction you put them in for.
Evo Rg is garbage now, maybe he should have a 1.5s hit speed instead of 1.7 or have a bigger knockback radius
Duration buff hardly matters on evo barbs, they're either constantly attacking or not. They'll just get splashed way easier with the health nerf
I can see it be better at punishing though. If opponent tries kiting with skeletons and something cheap while low elixir, the barb will run for longer after cleaning up
here is a nerf(buff) for the evo valk i recommend :
reduce her tornado radius from 5.5 radius to 2.5 precent , having a high nado radius will pull unwanted troops to her causing her to take too much damage and eventually die , but with a smaller nerf , it can ACTUALLY pull tanks to her without the risk of other harmful units , example : a mini pekka is dropped on the bridge while the valk is pulling a golem , and with a smaller radius nerf , the mini pekka doesnt get pulled to the valk making her stay alive and keep pulling the golem , eventually you will defend the mini pekka
this isnt really a nerf but rather a buff

@@Larry1631that damage reduction will probably give it overall more health than just the health nerf it got.
It seemed like a buff to me aswell but then I thought about it: While hes walking, you probably can't kill him anyway. The reduction going up doesn't really change that. He is basicly invicible in that state, no matter if it's 60% or 70%. You kill him when he stands kill and there you can now kill him slightly faster. This seems a lot more sigificant to me.
It's a nerf in my opinion. When was the last time you killed an evo knight while it was walking? It rarely happens. Now, it will take less damage when approaching the target (which it already took basically none), but die a good bit quicker once he stops moving. I think this will lead to him getting fewer hits on the tower overall.
So if you don't use arrows then half of the evolutions are even more broken than before.
Or all of the evolutions are broken since arrows never killed anything
@@CarbonFang25 If you used rocket or lightning then it didn't really mattered before whether they died to arrows or not.
@@Lucy_595 maybe nerfing the logs crown tower damage played a part in it? Before the log was nerfed, it had the best elixir cost to crown tower damage ratio of any small spell (earthquake is a medium spell). It far outclassed arrows for this reason. Now ever since the log crown tower damage nerf, there really is no reason to not use arrows to the point where some people are using them with fireball and poison, cards that you don't traditionally see with arrows. I'm not saying log needs a buff, but when a card has no competition, of course it is going to be used a lot.

@@rabeechowdhury Log is still considered broken by pros. It will always be strong. But arrows is just way better. The radius is absurd, you can almost never miss anything.

these changes are great but I think that some of the lower tier evos/evos that dont get consistent value with their abilities could benefit from a slight HP multiplier (nothing more than 1.1-1.2). evo knight and barbs still have slightly more HP, I think they should have kept that trait for rg and the buildings too
I dont think cannoneer nerf was needed, it removes the ability he had to 2 shot a ton of troops which were the main reason i was using it, but now it cant do that so they decide to nerf its demage they should buff its health

They nerfed these cards because the meta is gonna be whatever new OP thing they release next and people are gonna have to buy it.
We know it’s not gonna be a champion because they didn’t touch little prince. It’s gonna be a evo mega knight or something and they’re gonna release it right at the end of may next season when summer break starts for most people.

I have a cool idea for a champion. It has a normal sword and hp like the golden knight but for its ability, it is one elixir and he dodges backwards and avoids all damage while doing so. It would recharge very quickly so he could not consistently stay on your side, but enough to where he can use it more than the other champions. This could bait cards or correct placements and I think it could be interesting 🔥🔥

Plus it would be pretty useless, because using 1 elixir for evading a spell he alone plus it's very probably he is not gonna get spelled, the card would be a much worse monk
Good idea but card drop delay makes it trash in most cases
You know I got a good idea for your card, but it has a problem, but could be easily fixed , if you use hability back exactly when a melee is gonna hit, you counter with the exact damage + champion attack damage, and he doesn't receive the damage, plus stuns the card for 1-2 seconds, and if you think is broken, remember it costs 1 elixir to cast and it must be casted correctly, plus depending on the card It would not be very effective, or maybe take away the stun but he can dodge more than 1 attack and reflect range ones, so maybe a skill card that gives good offer for a little prediction, but it would need that wind up reduced, or taken away and have a little animation, so it's not just press, and the attacks are automatic, so it's better if it's has a little wind up, but not the amount right not

I have a feeling that the evolved firecracker rework will be a buff on mid ladder because over leveled she will still survive arrows and have all of those stat buffs on top of that

Let's go. Evo firecracker was broken in so many circumstances with that health and the ability. It acted as the win condition in many games where it had no business doing that. Thank god. the game will actually be playable now.

Elixir Collector finally got back to the meta and got nerfed even though daggers duchess that made possible the Pump's comeback got a really big nerf, so it is possible that Elixir Collector is now worse than before DD got released. Surely a balancing mistake.

I feel like with such a large nerf on evo tesla HP, in addition do the death stun, it should also have maybe a shockwave go out every 4 or so hits while it is up, that way it can get countered by spells/stun troops, but still provides good value

pretty sure that even if evo bomber is going to be 2 cycles, it’s going to be the best evolution in the game due to how much damage it can deal on defense and offense
I kind of want to see dagger duchess get a nerf besides hp. It still seems good and won’t change how I have been abusing it by doing lava for the first play and not being able to get punished off of it. I really want to see each tower troop strong not just in general but only for certain decks that pair well with them.

Yep. If you're looking for a sustainable deck, best just stick with cards that have already been nerfed.
Or just use XBow Rocket Ice wiz. Somehow Hunter is still rocking that deck and doing really well. Got a lot of f2p friendly cards too

Ever since I came back to the game I've only been laddering with Giant double Prince, and the Dutchess has never really been an issue for me. In fact, it felt easier since there are not as much Cannoneer users. Goes to show how centralizing the Dutchess was lol
Yeah I use Giant beatdown deck so I also feel joy to see Dagger Dutchess over Cannoonneer.
It's interesting that all these evo's are getting nerfed or buffed after all the evo offers in the shop. I think they are trying to farm the last bit of money from these evos before they launch a new wave of evos
Evo knight is the only one I disagree with it'll probably rise to be the best Evo of they include it's buff
It's a big buff exactly. They just gave the old damage reduction stats back to the Knight. Gonna be the most broken evo for sure or Supercell has to change it. Like a 5% buff I understand but come on 17% is a lot.
Pump nerf was absolutely unnecessary
Pump is so annoying and its completely unfair
They did this in brawl stars too... Nerfed the shield boosts we get from hypercharges that are similar buff to hp boost in CR that makes them hard to kill... They nerfed shield buff to just 5% so it's not game breaking. Hopefully CR team takes away more from Brawl team. Brawl team has been doing so great it's beat CR in terms of popularity and Brawl monetization is completely non toxic that doesn't make it super p2w like CR.
Really pathetic how much they nerf shit. Not sure who cries but when I have limited elite cards to use and then they just nerf them makes me not wanna play much anymore.

This is a much needed change for all of the evos and tower troops.
A trend I see not only here but in several other games is that a card/character is released op and then it's nerfed a few days later.
i know the evolved nerfs to the weaker evos are probably considered undeserved but as someone that hates the whole concept of evolutions i gotta say im happy all of them are getting a nerf

If evo archers and firecrackers are going to be died by arrows...then there is no use of damage buff they have done to it...if opponent have arrows he will anyway kill them everytime.

They kinda avoided the main problem with DD, which is being able to destroy win conditions in a matter of seconds, but hey, at least they nerfed it.
@@averageballfan3168 I mean it only punishes people who cycle spam unprotected troops at the bridge. Mainly counters zero IQ 2.6 hog which pretty much always gets damage unless you have a building. Even then you’d have to have a really fast cycle to keep up with the hog riders being spammed.
I’m a PBS main but it didn’t really affect how I play because I don’t usually just spam cycle battle rams at the bridge.
Also dutchess is extremely weak once she runs out of arrows so if you play smart she’s easy to catch out if you overwhelm her.

I personally would’ve loved for the normal mortar to be slightly buffed or the evolved mortar to have some extra up because it’s not even close to being as good as the other evolutions. Slightly good but not too much in the meta

Arrow hands down best spell if these changes get added
These are really good changes overall but the only things I would add are
•Poison with less tower damage
• Dagger dutchess with two less max daggers but a slightly faster realist rate

I think evo zapped will still be used. It is still good as a reset and still kills most swarms that did not die from zap. Only major interaction changes is the removal of absurd tower damage and its ability to kill some 4 elixer troops.

Maybe evolved morter and evolved rg didn't need it, but most of the other cards needed it with the direction they were moving in (tower troops that hit slower or potentially only hit ground). I think with regular archers they should just revert them to their old initial attack and slower hits hitspeed, but make it hit 0.1 seconds faster instead of 0.2 seconds faster. Evo knight rework opens the way for 3M to get a change (maybe even a separated card from the regular musketeer) because of its counterplay. Regular recruits were buffed. They propose nerfing all evolutions (besides ice spirit) to increase the likelihood of it not just being moving on to the next broken evolution for the next two months.
Maybe they're nerfing all the old evolutions so people have to buy new broken evolutions

i think all evos need to be two cycle. doesn't make sense to have some be 1 and others be 2. its what makes royal recruits and bomber so strong. imagine if you could evo tesla every other cycle...

Evolution cards should only add the unique ability not more health so spells that can counter them still can. Evolved skeletons is a great evolution and should be a basis of a balanced evolution. In the right hands it can be broken or completely useless if used incorrectly
As a Royal Recruits/ Hogs player hopefully this can bring RR a bit more into the meta, evos basically dead though with the damage nerf from the other season. Nice to see arrows against evo fc though.
This Recruits nerf was completely ridiculous. They were already balanced and their life is already pretty low, now they just made them 10% weaker. They should at least increse their shield hp or buff the damage

I feel the Dutchess is strong in the first minute and weak in the double elixir time. I think a good rework is reducing her dagger amount (6) and increase reload time (3 sec) But, for a buff when double elixir comes then her dagger reload time is double as well. (1.5)

The main reason why it's everywhere on the leader is that people use the Tesla anyway.
I hope they consider all of the changes and don't keep just 4 or 5 like they usually do. I think they should make more reworks than just simple nerfs and buffs because it often takes three or two balance changes to patch a new card correctly. Pump nerf is too big tho

all the evolution changes about the health are so good evos shouldn't be game altering card that single-handedly decide whether you can defend a push or take a tower, and the health buffs to all of them is what helped them do it a lot of the time
I think all these evo changes are really nice as they give a bit more focus on the unique abilities of the Evos instead of just giving them way too broken stats so you play around the cars instead of running your enemy down
Be cool if they did an Evo Giant Skeleton, real question is what gimmick it will have asides its bomb it drops upon defeat.
