Crazy thing is our society pushes alcoholism. From commercials, to bars, liquors stores everywhere, alcohol being sold in gas stations now. It’s literally every.
I actually bought a small bag of white powder the other day. It made my heart speed up a bit and I couldn't shut the fuc up. I will assume it can do no harm as there was no label on it.
First wine is good for you now it’s bad for you. Eggs are good for you and they’re bad for you then they back to being good for you. Chocolate, good then chocolate bad THEN chocolate good again! HOW about all things in moderation?
My only problem with this, is that it's something so widely sweeping- and doing it after the Covid vax situation, seems like it could be a way to wave away some of the growing concerns of cancer amongst Covid vaccinated people. And put the blame on their 1 glass of wine per night. Or ignoring the several environmental pollutants that definitely are causing cancer. Or the food additives that are causing cancer but don't have warning labels associated.
@@TC-zf1ji not really... half the kids hear about SMOKING, DRIKING, and DRUGS in health classes then try it cuz they wanna be cool. Nothing has changed much since the 90's.
@@throughhellback3931 I disagree, I think smoking will fade with the next generation or two. I'm amazed none of my 4 adult children ever got into smoking, especially since their mom smoked regularly, and I smoke occasionally. Drinking will always be a problem in the USA.
The labels are because idiot attorneys bring frivolous lawsuits trying to make money. "You didn't tell me I could get cancer!". I mean, why do shampoo bottles need labels that say not for consumption?
@@throughhellback3931 Overwhelmingly fewer people are smoking today in 2025 compared to 1965 (the last year prior to warning labels). Like it isn't even close or up for debate. Your opinion here is just completely and utterly wrong.
A warning label isn’t prohibition. People have the right to know what they are ingesting. They don’t have the right to be comfortable with what they are ingesting.
Reminds me of the meme of a metal sign saying “Warning, this sign has sharp edges”. Does ANYONE ever read the cancer warnings from prop 65 in California?
I would only support this if they also forced bottled water companies to have a label which reads: "Warning: When used improperly, this product can lead to dangerous conditions including drowning".
As a kid I viewed alcohol with almost no risk because it was seldom talked about. If I had seen the label on there I probably would have been less likely to indulge in the way that I had. There was no talk of cancer risk when I was in school. Idk if that is different now.
Good idea. The cheap swill (not the wine of the elite) is not monitored especially with these “wineries” and “distilleries” popping up all over the place.

Will a warning label finally go on the government-produced and -promoted vaccines too?
I think they are leaving out - most regular drinkers likely don't have a great diet either. It's probably more a result of multiple lifestyle choices, but it doesn't sound like any other information was given.
Anybody think that maybe it's the products that are poisoned that are MADE into the alcohol. Just saying alcohol has been around for 1000's of years and there's never been this much of a problem.
I have seen the stats, but I have not actually seen the science. Is this correlation and not causation? That seems likely. What we need to know is what's actually in the things we consume. We can then decide for ourselves what we want to eat and drink.
Perhaps there should be a warning about how it can take over your life. As I get older more and more of my friends, albeit a small portion.. Get absolutely hooked by alcohol. It's absolutely wild how much they drink every single day. Some in and out of hospital for liver issues. Others several dui's. It's crazy and so foreign to me.
Me thinks Robby doth protest too much.. ;) (Please let Niall make his case...) As one who enjoys drinking, and- who has also been aware of the alcohol-cancer links for decades- seems that adding a warning label makes sense. Specifically, for those- who are not aware of the strong body of research showing the link. Will prompt some to do some reading on the subject, so that they can be more informed when choosing what to put in their body. Doesn't take AWAY freedoms- actually having knowledge ADDS freedom.
Is there really a strong body of research showing a link between alcohol and cancer? I mean, the vast majority of adults drink, so if you start with someone who has cancer and ask them if they drink and 80% say yes, is that a correlation? Or, is it just a strong correlation to liver cancer? And there will always be the stories of someone who smoked 2 packs a day for 30 years that didn't get cancer, and someone who never smoked a day in their life and did. Truth is, we don't know exactly what causes healthy cells to turn cancerous for sure.
This is actually so important. Alcohol is so bad for your health. I’m glad this is actually moving forward. Alcohol causes liver cancer and pancreatic cancer. It’s been known for a long time but politics refused to move forward with this due to the strong drinking culture in the U.S.
Will trump eliminate the felony / misdemeanor checkbox on job application since he's won through the system, the past is not to find the future especially on a job applications if we are to become great again.
If they're going to label alcohol they need to label processed food too.
Should have a warning "can make you fall in love with the wrong person"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

But remember, the CV poke was super safe and effective.
And remember young people aren’t dropping dead totally not
I mean, who ever said alcohol was ever healthy. Kinda common sense.
You'd thinking not smoking would be common sense but doctors used to prescribe them to pregnant women.
It would be more cost effective to put labels on food items that don’t cause cancer.
I actually bought a small bag of white powder the other day. It made my heart speed up a bit and I couldn't shut the fuc up. I will assume it can do no harm as there was no label on it.
How about the food we are poisoned with all day every day
People drinking some beers on the weekend is not in the top 200 list of problems we are facing. That’s why I commented on it.
People who drink do so knowing it has risks. Next.
Does anyone need the government to tell you whats good/bad?

Getting up every morning causes cancer ..
What’s next, “smoking is bad for you” too?
It's kinda hard to take the government seriously. No government agency has any credibility anymore.
Blaming on alcohol to hide the jab injury.
It’s funny how afraid everyone is of a silly shot. We get like 100 during childhood.

Warning labels would have saved so many people...
We need a warning label for the main stream media
Smokers also just ignore the warning labels on cigarettes. LABELS don't prevent people from consuming carcinogenic substances.

of course the report from congress is going to show no link. its a conflict of interest for them to even be involved in that
at this point any time I hear the phrase "A study says" I'm deeply skeptical
All people are going to with these warning labels is MOCK THEM and drink more on UA-cam. They won't prevent people from drinking.
I don't care if they add a warning label, as long as they don't allow people to choose to drink or not.
