Makes sense for the LORD to prepare the children for what is to come.
They would not understand what will happen and so an introduction would be an advantage so they would not be fearful when it does happen.
I am reminded of Acts 2:17 where it says the children will have visions and prophecy, prophecy must be fulfilled.
With what is happening to a lot of children today in some places like Pakistan and UK, it gives me peace they will be taken out of harms way as it sickens me to think of what some are going through today.
