...what a beautiful way to express true pain... I'd lose my voice for choking on the raw emotion contained in this piece... nothing but respect for the man, his work, this band...pure chemistry. ✨❤️✨
Robert maybe 64 and looking a little old but he hasn't lost his emotional vocals. A sad sweet song. If you can't relate, then you've not lost a love to death
After playing this song 4-5 on the recent tour they dropped it as they couldnt get it right (quote RS). It is great song a I look foreward for the studio version, but I kind of agree with RS. Even Simon (bass) sounds a bit out of time and feel and usually he is 110% super solid and tight.
I may guess that what RS meant by not "get(ing) it right" could be a reference to the almost classical complexity of the song. It's almost like a minuet. 😅that's what struck me about it. Very unusual for the Cure. Powerful song indeed.

Didnt care for this one, or the way they play it. Good call on his part.

Robert Smith looks just like.. Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw massacre movies..
