This is a good turn, you kind of sympatize with Liandrin in the show but at the end what she wants its power and be superior (she gave that idea when she spoke with the Seanchan bald girl) In the books she is straight up a dark ajah member but as the books progressed she becomes more annoying. I hope they follow it, a person can sympatize wuth a character for what she has suffered but not with her motives for the suffering and betrayal she does against other people. In the wheel of time some characters are villains and dont have redemption at all.
