- I have NEVER experienced vine back then. It was just an app that I never went on or cared for. So to celebrate 10 weeks of this YLYL series, I will react and try not to laugh to some off the most popular old vines out there!

It admittedly doesn't have the same charm as Hanging with Zach *falls*
They say that restriction breeds creativity. And to be honest, Vine was an incredible demonstration of it - only having 7 seconds to deliver your core idea sounded crazy, but it prompted some incredibly concise, to the point comedy.
The Fact that as Vines were trending, People were more unhinged and didn't started to complain or "cry" about some Jokes made in those 7 Second Videoclips
Almost everything is created to overcome some restriction honestly
Watching someone's raw, genuine, first-time reactions to these videos is one of the most treasurable experiences in an age where they're considered classics. Giving me Ratatouille-esque nostalgia flashbacks.

Having watched most of the clips already, watching it with you as a filter actually feels like a different experience.
Crystal doing the "I have the power of God and anime on my side" meme is perhaps one of the greatest things she's ever done.
The "and they were roommates" lady is a teacher. There were two guys who were secretly a couple, and they were roommates.

Vine felt so natural, just normal ordinary people having fun, and not infliencers trying to force content out of tiktok
I think that fact that it didn't really make people money or famous helped cultivate sincerity in the content.

Man vine is still funny to this day. The beauty of vine is that, as opposed to TikTok, you only had ~8-9 seconds to make the joke and punchline, so it really brought out a lot of creative (and hilarious) sides. 😅
