- In This video we have a look at two new additions, a really nice pair of American ww2 ford jeeps, both needed a little attention to the brakes but after that and a bit of starting trouble we took them down the field for a little play!

My Ford was built in 1945 two months before WW2 ended. It was sent to the US Forest Service. 20 years later it was sold to a farmer in Sedro Woolley, Washington. In 1995 they replaced it with a Honda 4 wheeler. They put it on Craigslist. I snagged it for $1800. All it needed was a master cylinder and brake shoes.
Love how the drone got distracted by the harvester 😂
Not only was it probably a right laugh for you boys, but I really enjoy seeing the vehicles on the move (just as much as the deep more technical tour videos on the channel). The drone footage as a feature of your videos I think should definitely be a keeper!
Great to hear my old Parachute Regiment tune !
Joe did pretty well driving, I think the booster seat helped. The jeeps came up very well
In South France, late 1970s I was waiting for a bus overlooking a scrap yard.Spotted one, beat up,painted yellow with hippy flowers all over it..dunno wether that was a sad or good end!!!!
Used to go lamping in a willis jeep, swivel office chair in back for lamp operator shooter beside driver with screen down and ne in the back as picker up, got some funny looks when we filled up with petrol.
Glad you enjoyed them. Looked like one off the bucket list.
They sound well enough 👍. I’m slightly disappointed you didn’t elegantly slide it between the chopper and trailer in the field 🤣🤣
Beautiful, love to see the old girls get out and play!
i love these jeeps would like to have one, thanks for the video.
Love the 'old style' striptease music.. lol
Nice jeeps mind you.
I love the smell of Jeep exhaust in the morning, it reminds me of victory!
Perfect to the pub machine ✅
Who's is the black jcb fastrack... amazing to see 2 ww2 jeeps. Keep up the great finds and getting them running for all too see any hear...
I'm surprised you don't have at least one for "around the town" usage. Maybe you should look into getting a WW 2 Dodge 4x4 to do some "Parts" hauling.
Look really good restorations.
Man. One of my dream vehicles. Awesome.
They are fantastic old jeeps
That was great.
Dang man, would like to find a WW2 jeep like that. And be able to buy it.
Ford GPW and Willys MB, the original and best!
Great stuff again, thanks for another awesome video.
I’ll see thee 👍
Proper ‘andsome Jeeps as we say down Cornwall.
Took a spin a ww2 jeep used by the RAF, thet moved to Germany through the d day landings. A bit rough, but a drive in history.
Fastest vehicle's in your fleet.....and most fuel efficient
Awesome! I've always wanted one of those. Pretty rare as only 280k were made and who knows how many survived the war (maybe someone does, but it's not me)
Was gonna say ‘bout time you got ya hands dirty, but ya’s wearing gloves 😂😂
Sigh ...... boys and there toys !! Lol
Bet you lot were like a kid in a play pen 😆
I believe i saw a certain truck you use. with 2 army lorries on it. So i recon it was going your way. and news you wont to tell us.
Just seen these pop up on TWC facebook. Looks loke they have gone to a good home.
you need a brenn gun carrier (aka universal carrier) to see how they compare 😊
If one comes up we will have it!
@@fittermat a Brenn can fly! so much cooler then a jeep, apparently all of them lost the exhaust pipe because of that or at least smashed it flat 🤣
I have samples of each - different horses..
Quick question I know they were designed by Willis and a small amount built by them but are the parts interchangeable with a ford and the willes
yep...interchangeable
@@charlesfitton9677 thank you for the reply
Cracking but need Kelly’s hero’s music (subject to copyright) not New Orleans Jazz ha ha
Will take Apocaplyse now though
Apparently the Ford Jeeps are more sort after as every bolt has the Ford logo on, not sure if it’s true that what I heard
2 WW2 Jeeps, a black Fast Trac & a new pair of V12 boots, what's not to like about this vid eh'
Either those have seen A LOT of refurbishment, or they were pretty much never stored outside in the salt and snow.
Cracking video 👍 on holiday in South of france and saw one of these on seafront at Saint Rafael with trailer and 4 crew in GI uniform
If everything is genuine on those Jeep’s, you made a pretty good investment. Well done 👍
Hi there I'm surprised that you didn't smash them doing the airty stuff especially as you have sold them be careful going to the pub
Super fun to work on and driver, my brother and I have restored a few Jeeps over the past years. Now I miss them, and wish I had kept at least one to carry on playing with.
Have you noticed that just about each and every part and piece of these Ford built 'Jeeps' have the Ford 'F' in script embossed into them, even the head of the larger bolts have this, if it's a true Ford.
Yeah, I thought it was a really nice touch on them
@@fittermat So did I.
That was. in the most part, a warranty thing.
Nice one!
Nice footage! Really enjoy your channel!
Apocalypse now. Top 3.
I think Matt just secretly wants to be American
I love the sound of the ww2 jeep willys😍
I’m afraid Ride of the Valkyries is better suited to helicopter gunships than jeeps.
Buy an AustinChamp and have more fun!
😎👍
Love it!... Need a fifty something apprentice! (Can make a good strong cup of char and wiĺl bring dunking biccies!) 🤣🤣
Did those have the same bonnet number🙄
I've just seen who's bought the jeeps 😉
not sure if you lot or totally mad or totally geniuses
...97147 ? They both have the same reg number?
Jeep sold to The Wheatcroft Collection
Agh Crap were is my Invite ? Better music than the yanky country crap on the other vid
couldn't stand the music
please please please leave out the god awful music. it ruins an interesting video !!!. its like those that want to watch warbird and listen to the engines and have an overlay of "exciting" music .... in this case the music is simply awful.
