Great vid, dude! You kept me interested all the way to the end, and I really enjoyed the Eagle Nebula photo. From an editorial perspective, I liked the way you occasionally moved around in your yard in relation to the tripod/mount. Sometimes close, sometimes with it in the background. It's not a huge jarring effect, but it adds a nice subtle change to what's going on to keep things moving. I thought your explanations were really clear, and I could get that you were speaking from the experience of having used the equipment enough to have an informed opinion. Looking forward to more, keep up the good work!
Wow! That is a meaty mount. Love that heavy duty tripod too. I am liking the fact that manufacturers are now thinking about where to put there power and usb ports on the mounts. Makes cable management so much easier. Nice images Noah. Clear skies. Dr B from Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦
You’ve de-forked the CPC 11… A great review and I *loved* the images. As a serious imaging rig, can it also electronically GoTo-or do you dial in objects manually using setting circles ;-) Btw, one day try film-looking back, its challenges were huge!
Thanks Noah for the review, I have bought the same mount about 1.5 months ago, I had the same problem with connecting the mount directly using a usb 2 cable, it was not working and I managed to solve the problem by updating the motor firmware to version 3.39, once I have done that, I managed to connect to the mount using Green Swamp Server, then I connect from NINA using Ascom. My mount had some slight boring marks as it arrived and because of those two problems I was thinking of sending it back, but after solving the connection problem, and seeing 0.5" rms on my PHD2 I decided to keep it 😀
Looking to buy this mount to for my c14. I believe you can do polar alignment with it on the handcontroller. Its with the other mounts of skywatcher Synscan that you can do it on the hancontroller itself.
Hi Noah, congratulations on your video. I would like to purchase this CQ350 and I would like to ask you a question: on the front there seems to be some kind of circular cap: isn't it a cap? Isn't it really possible to insert a QHY Polemaster to perform polar alignment?

Thank you so much! Im glad you liked the video and the different shot angles! :D Appreciate the kind words!
Good honest review Noah!!love the images too!
Great video Noah, keep putting them out there. Your images are tremendous well done.

Super cool Images, super cool mount, super cool videos. Not convinced that the image would really have been necessary...
Amazing! Where did you learn astrophotography? Are these your equipment or your parent’s equipment?
Good honest review..thanks

Wow, final images were made with the 1100? I have one just like it and I would like to start taking photographs
Why are you not using NINA or SharpCap to do the polar alignment?
Very nice images.
Can you please make a video how to lineup the cq350?
Nice job sir
Hello, I have almost the same configuration with a C11,but do you have several difficulties to balance the mount ? If no, how do you balance it ?
Keep it up! 🙂
Hi. Just watching your video. Did you really mean that the mount and tripod have a combined weight below 40 pounds?!?
Can you tech me how to used I'm going to get one
Очень странно, что в комплекте нет искателя полюса. Это нонсенс!
Many people Polar Align using software. Or you can purchase the optional Polar Scope. Your choice ...
I have not used a polar scope in years since it is much easier to do with software like Sharpcap.
