Not even comparable. The 259 wouldn’t like picking up a Blackhawk all day let alone pushing it. The 265 does a decent job pushing it. I’d prefer a smart motor and a 60 inch drum though. I think that would be the sweet spot that makes 74 hp more desirable. Only adds 1.5 hours per acre compared to a 299 D3 XE with Blackhawk
The visibility from inside the cab appears much more improved compared to your 299. The other refinements that you have pointed out looks like Cat did a great job on these new machines.
Borther, ive been seeing couple of your videos. Very good information you give out. I have a welding business in texas, its pretty good been up and running for 5 years now. I have a 3 acre land & decided to buy a skid steer and have been clearing it. One of my guys is really good at clearing so now im thinking of starting a clearing business and transfer my guy over from welding to this clearing side business, we spoke and hes all in for it. He actually use to do clearing for a company way before he got into welding & the guy knows. Your videos help much more to get ideas if just about anything in this business
Little jelly of the new machine !! when in need or looking for a new transfer tank we got ours from Boyd welding in Ocala. looks great and has a good vent cap design.
At least you have working air conditioning. Never understood why so many people have back issues. Every skid steer I have bene in had a hard or destroyed seat and luckily I never suffered any muscle pains. Then again as skinny as I am I doubt there's much muscle do deal with! That discarded fence is a NIGHTMARE! Hit it and suffer getting it out. It's going to be interesting what you get from the hurricane. Bobcat was the first to offer a steel track option on a skid steer. As always a machines worth is the income it produces. New tires do avoid a lot of annoying failures.
Smart about the employee thing...( That's why I own two companies, because I love the fact that the other company hardly needs employees...... Another way to try to have job security for me and my family.... A employee can make or break companies and also can be hard to find obviously, look around..) Happy mulching #Fecon#Lamtrac#Asv
How big is the mulcher? Do you think a smaller mulcher would perform better on the 265? I’m very interested in this because I am looking to buy a 265 to mulch with.
265 is the only machine available till next year. A 299 again wasn’t something I wanted due to the unreliable ac as well as def. I’m doing some projects over the next few months that require a 74 hp machine ( lol you’ll see why in about 6-10 months on here) and I have plans to get a 285 as soon as it is available and just have the 265 and 285
Now you have the 265 - in terms of mulching specifically - how does it stack up to the 259 you used to use?

@@TheTreeShop Thanks for sharing the knowledge! I appreciate it 💯🤙🏼

Only spot with reduced visibility is down and right by the front of the tracks. The lift arms are so big they block this but it’s not a big deal.

I didn't get a notification for this video, just happened to see it on the front page. I hope its an isolated case

This is a 72 inch Blackhawk. I would probably match this up with a 60 inch if I had the option
Copy that!
Where is the rear bumper from?

What app are you using to see property lines?
HuntWise pro
You may have commented on this and I missed it. But, why didn’t you just get a 275 since you primarily mulch?

@@TheTreeShop ahh that’s what I meant a 285. I haven’t even seen one yet. But anticipate it being a great unit.

Your content is awesome, just wish I was getting notifications still. I am un-subbing and re-subbing to see if that fixes it. Keep up the great work!
