pr1982baller truly. All other versions are disappointing.. hers is special. I think its the old type piano too, i wish she would have done this full song..
I've been looking for this version (or at least a clip from the movie, like this one). I always hear it with banjo or harmonica, but I always like this one with the slightly out-of-tune piano. Something about this one just hit me. Nice voice.
Anyone notice when Wyatt walks in she changes the lyrics to "the girl who has loved you so true". Instead of "the cowboy who has loved you so true." Hhmm
They say Wyatt had eyes that could rip out your soul and beat the hell outta you with them. Like he could just stare straight through you, which made many "tough guys" extremely intimidated...
I love this scene and as others have said I wish there was a single of just this song. It’s not even on the soundtrack. It’s the best version and her voice with only the piano is enchanting.
The way Wyatt and Josie's romance is teased throughout this film is absolutely brilliant. While the rest of the story is handled well enough for the story to get along without this subplot, the romantic plot adds so much dimension to this conflicted character. From the moment he first sees Josie it's basically love at first sight, however because he's a married and honorable man - he does everything he can to avoid admitting the chemistry he has with Josie. But there are many moments, like this one, where he is left completely in a daze, just by making eye contact. They both know the effect they have on each other, but it takes him the entire film to finally admit it out loud.
So glad I got this masterpiece of a classic western gem of a film love this I can rewind it and watch her sing it again and again so beautiful her and this song together.
My folks would watch this all the time, to the point where my pa would quote doc all the time. Funny enough, we only lived a few hours away from Tombstone.
Her voice is so beautiful. I have a cousin named Talia and a sister named Noelle that love this movie, solely because of this part. I'm pretty sure my cousin Felicia loves it too. Thanks for posting this. I have to share this with them.
I'm pretty sure he's quoting Shawshank Redemption, when Morgan Freeman is (mentally) talking about the Italian opera music and how much it touched him. Also, if you're simply bring sarcastic, you forgot to add a 'like it' or 'so' after 'It would seem'. The sentence makes no sense otherwise.
and yet this is the best Red River Valley
One of my favorite scenes from Tombstone, she should have made a record..
Seconded.
True
why ike.. whatever do you mean:{-)
Matthew Segura lol
...i know. let's have a spelling contest.
There's something about the way she sings this song that touches your soul.

pr1982baller ; i agree...& there is not much accompaniment, just mostly the piano.....lovely....I wish it was longer
It's the single harlot woman's cry for a married man.
Yes, it is very beautiful. Is it possible to find a full recording of her singing it?
@@devinlabuda5713 hey late reply but that specific piano is called a ragtime piano or a honky-tonk piano
This is probably the best version I ever heard of the song. I wish she recorded the whole song though.
We might not have the same taste, but my favorite is the Marty Robbins version.
I think we can all agree we’re mad she never recorded this officially.
Oh yeah, dude. I can only wish….
She’s a Daisy

You’re not alone
10 years later... Still looking.
Such a beautiful woman singing in a Saloon and her eyes is fixed on you...you are darn insane if it does not make you feel like in heaven.

Don't take no lip or no bartender.....😁
Such a lovely song and Dana sings it perfectly
Anyone notice when Wyatt walks in she changes the lyrics to "the girl who has loved you so true". Instead of "the cowboy who has loved you so true." Hhmm
once i heard this song it sticks in my head for weeks ! so sorry for my friends tomorrow i will be singing it all day long !
This song defies American western expansion in a song! 🇺🇸 #wethepeolpe
Such a sad song sung by such a beautiful voice. Wow.
Truely one of the greatest westerns of all time....truely a classic
“What do you think of the singer?”
We need a petition for her to make this a record
I’m from the red river valley ;)
This clip only plays a small amount of the song. Is there any version of her singing the whole song?
I sure as hell wish there was.
Nice Voice? Nice lovely babe
she does have a nice voice tho
"I'm your huckleberry."
I love Dana in this movie. Especially, along with this song, her scene at the end when she says, "Don't worry Wyatt, my family's rich."
They say Wyatt had eyes that could rip out your soul and beat the hell outta you with them. Like he could just stare straight through you, which made many "tough guys" extremely intimidated...
Looks like he met his match with Josie.
More like nice everything 😃

I wonder if she ever recovered from that neck injury. Thoughts and prayers
Neck injury?
영화에 딱 어울리는 노래
다나딜러니도 이쁘고
She makes my heart beat
She should record this Beautiful version what a Voice the piano sounds Awesome too fit very well
This version is better than any other artist versions 😂they should have recorded her singing this song,. That piano 🎹 tune goes well with it.
Anyone know of any other slower version/piano versions of this song?
absolute class. brilliant reference.
Thanks for brightning my pathaway a while. : ) id be content if this were the last thing i ever heard on earth.
Damn! Lois Lane can sing.
And she swears up and down she can't sing?!
This is my dad's favorite western! :)
My folks would watch this all the time, to the point where my pa would quote doc all the time. Funny enough, we only lived a few hours away from Tombstone.

califlyangler my mom hates her voce but i love it
Her voice is good to hear. And his behavior is nice to see.
is it her singing ? dana
Rainstorm R In my view, yes. But I'm not sure.
I love her : ) !!!
I wish she would have done this full song. Its so perfect. The piano, her voice, her. Shame she didnt alot of people would have liked it i think.
Devin Labuda; wish it was longer
Same sentiment.👍
@califlyangler There's no way they like this part or that character/actress.
When was that ever said? By whom, sir?

Wyatt is trying to be a gentleman and hide his Strong feelings for her, because I believe she was dating that gentleman that asked Wyatt
