Monza was my favourite track on the F! game (when i bought it years ago) - it was the only track i was good at. I loved it. Susuka was my next favourite.
@@remirms2239 the *radius* INCREASES on exit. When you say decreasing radius or increasing radius, that doesn't mean whether effort in the steering increases or decreases, rather the radius of the corner. Meaning, the straight line drawn from the geometric center of the corner (out in the grass somewhere) to the center of the track. Parabolica is obviously, unequivocally an increasing radius corner.
Oh goddamnit yes, you guys are right. It's so deceptive to say the turn is decreasing, but you're talking about the radius of the corner, so it is indeed an increase in radius. It's counter intuitive to say, but you guys are indeed correct. I guess I also got tricked into thinking the wrong thing.
Monza 1998 is the best race i have ever seen, especially as a Schumacher/Ferrari fan.. ran less wing to compete with the faster McLarens.. fuckin class
About ferrari, will it still be time enough to change their idea to keep kimi after Vettel wins the last race but hamilton wins the championship by one point coming in second.?
Imagine if the pit straight was twice as wide and at the start everyone started on the right, took the banked oval which put them out on the left side of the pit straight for them to complete the normal lap, then back down the pit straight and into the oval.
Pranav B Thing is its too bumpy. Look at the grand tour when they went on it. Its so bumpy the cars could lift up and fly you off the edge. Even then the suspension on an f1 car would break easily. That's why the nordschlife isn't used either.
As a mercedes/Lewis fan, I hate to say it but you're probably wrong, unless Vettel's engine blows. Theyve got the tifosi behind them, so they'll be a force to be reckoned with this weekend, and I'll be surprised if they get beaten
This gentleman is fantastic
One of the absolute best current circuits in F1. Also one of my top favorites driving-wise.
"A Monza history lesson".... "but to much to go on about in this very short video."

Conor Kelly *F1
also which game was it?
Parabolica is an increasing radius corner, NOT decreasing radius
No, decreasing, because it opens up on exit.
thats right. increasing radius = decreasing tightness on exit. i thought the same

No it decreases, pretty sure a guy that's been covering f1 for longer than you were born would know.
1:03 Here after 2021 monza... This guy is a legend
Italian Grand Prix 1971 , what a thriller .
@Autosport
Please do make an in depth video about Monza in the future.

Turns out it's actually Lesmos, and not Lesbos as I've been calling it all my life. #NotLesbosActually
Soooooooo make a longer video!
They should restore to service the complete 10 km circuit.
Someone didn't do his virtual lap...
How can you not mention Ronnie Peterson?
This track resembles Wii Luigi Circuit from Mario Kart Wii
Morning sweet cheeks! Is now a good time to tell you that summer is officially over? 😩🌤😘
Yup you know your tracks
#savemonza

I wish we could get the banking back
Everyone thinks it's kinda unsafe for racing standards now :(
@@uncannyclicker3221 They'd destroy the original track and legacy if they tried to rebuild it and upto the standards
They Could Rebuild the banking and make it more safety so it could be a safe circuit
I think the banking there but not being used adds to the mystique of it despite wanting them to use it for open wheel cars.

Once again the drs will be too strong. I hope this race is interesting.
Protest on turn 7 penalty
Pls. quit the music
If this track had been introduced in the calendar in the last 10 years it would have been considered has the worst
but is not, so stfu
[[Insert Name]] because of the long straights i know. Same applies to Monaco. Monaco is just a procession, there's no much racing there
Enjoy Tilke's circuits then.
Neutron Alchemist Yeah, I'd rather see a race in Barehin that at Monza
nicholas kamanja It's more like for the fact that has just TWO okay corners and the rest of the lap is shit
VOGLIO L?ITA
I am waiting for autosport cronies to come up with yet another turd polishing after the turd insulted and accused everyone of cheating.
Ferrari will screwup.. Ferrari will lose this.. #lh44
Fabian MadridReyes No doubt.
Bharath M forget it. Mercedes domination is no more that's it
As a mercedes/Lewis fan, I hate to say it but you're probably wrong, unless Vettel's engine blows. Theyve got the tifosi behind them, so they'll be a force to be reckoned with this weekend, and I'll be surprised if they get beaten
Can I have this week's lottery numbers, please?
This aged exceptionally well.
Yet more fake overtaking with extra DRS. You don't need any skill
I drs gets removed then there would be no overtakes. Get over it
