I have no doubt you'll be able to investigate further.
Thank you Robert and Dan for this story. I've always loved history, especially when there's a bit of a spooky background attached. Lol looking forward to maybe seeing more of this property in the future. Possibly a project for the other Robert to give those gravestones a D2 cleaning.😉
Start with Platt maps! Just a fun channel!
Yes!
Do it……do it now Ready,set gooooo 😄
It tickles me how you two fellows sure are good at scaring one another.
They always look like they are having so much fun with each other
All part of their collaborate act😊😅
True true, but the next house they visit (2 videos I think) really spooky and Mr Dan appeared to be spooked or else he's a really good actor.
It is a real shame that house isn't there anymore. I'd love to see that mural
Totally Brian! Imagine seeing all of the inside?
I second that emotion 👍
Dan is a true treasure. The amount of knowledge of history and facts that he had
is incredible. What I would give to sit and listen to him tell stories... Great upload guys. ❤
I was thinking the same thing. I could sit all day listening to Dan tell the history and stories about the places all around the area there in GA.
@@mnellesenerhard definitely someone to have around the campfire!
I actually walked through that house when I was a teenager. If I had known the History of it being Haunted, I probably would’ve never stepped foot inside. But I do remember how beautiful it was and wondered who had grew up in such a big home.
Thanks for the history behind the home Dan.
I also rode that same orange bus to school in Woodland after TCA in Shiloh merged with Woodland Academy
Great memories
You need to take Robbie to Shilohs haunted house. The Trammell house up from old school. We saw strange things in the windows always when our PE classed jogged by daily.
That’s when I picked up speed and ran passed that house faster. 😂
Wow, that is something!!
That would be awesome guys and Video it please 👏👏💯👏👏 17:11
A man that builds his own wealth with his own hands he deserves being respected to me, great story you 2👍
Love listening to Dan's stories,I could listen to him all day long.
Any chance Dan could write down absolutely every history tidbit in his brain and publish a book? I’d buy one.
I have thought the same thing. My family is from Charleston SC and there are old stories that I wish my family would write down too. I’d also buy one!
Id buy one
Me too
@@myirisheyesaresmiling5037get a recorder and get their stories.
I didn’t do that, I was really young then, but my great grandma, grandparents had great stories and NO ONE recoded or wrote the stories down. So sad about that.
I'm from Alabama and I'd still buy it!
Dan is such a great story teller.
I could listen to Mr. Dan share his knowledge all day long❤
Mr. Dan is such a great historian and he tells the best stories. It's ashame the house burned down. I hope ya'll get permission to investigate the ruins of the house and the property someday. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the story, Dan. I always enjoy the history of these old places. Robert, you and Dan are getting more questionable noises on your videos recently. I think it's great. Keep up on these kind of stories. Thanks, guys.
Dan Is Definitely A Story Teller. It Makes You Wonder The Imagination He Has
Hello from San Antonio Texas I grew up with ghost stories and this is a treat
it is 9:22 PM, October 27, 2023
A great way to relax after a hard days work❤
Excellent! The pictures of the house and the area are creepy. The house has a mix of New Orleans and medieval feel. Definitely odd and strange. As usual, Dan's story paints a vivid picture!
There certainly are strange things happening this spooky October. Lots of "wind!" 😅
Great thumbnail!!
👍👍🫨❣️❣️
New Orleans vibe popped into my thoughts first thing @SondraD7676
Excellent telling of the history of that house & family...
Hello Robert and Dan another good intresting story specially the history of the Jones family it's a shame the house long gone he did well Mr Jones a self learning 👍 thanks Robert and Dan for a intresting video all the best Andrew south wales uk 👍 👌 😀 🇬🇧
I love these longer videos with you guys!! I am amazed how Dan can remember all the facts about so many people and families! I do good to remember what day it is 😂
Love it when Dan tells us history. Thank you
I love Mr. Dan's historical knowledge. It would be awesome if he would write a book about all he knows about that area. I'm not from anywhere around there, but I would definitely be interested and read it. He's a great story teller.
Y’all need to get permission to explore. What a great site for a Ghostly video.
I hope we can
Thanks for another history story. Being a haunting one makes it even better.
Real stories and tall tales both are welcome. Videos like this and others add so much depth to your channel. Most of the time a person does not get the flavor of an area. Keep up the good work.
Please get permission to view where the house once stood. Oh man can you imagine the poor Burt parents grief over their small children. I for sure would love to read the history book on the Jones family. Hello Mr Dan!!
We can try!
@@AdventuresIntoHistory That would be so great :)
Back to the story...that railroad house wasn't anything fancy just clapboard siding, square, cracker box two rooms down, two up and a kitchen on the back. Thing was it was abandoned...I'm just guessing at the age of it but it had to be before turn of the century because it was there when my grandfather was a young man and he was born 1910. So it was spooky to us kids, don't know if it was built with square nails because we were never allowed around it...someone died there under mysterious circumstances. My Dad was never allowed in it,and they wouldn't tear it down. Mysterious.👻
It's a shame that house doesn't exist anymore. It would be great to go through it. The pictures of it are amazing. The story about the walking cane is cool.
Do more haunted 👻 stories. Love ❤️ it.
Robert, I was thinking the same thing about the thieves😂 Some things have attachments😂I always pray over things i bring into my home ♥️
I so enjoy listening to Mr. Dan talking about history.
I enjoyed that story. In a way it’s kinda sad that the history of it is eerie or consider haunted. Mr. Jones sounds like an interesting gentleman. As a man that educated himself, to play the organ n other instruments. To build that big house, to have a cotton gin n other machines he was definitely self taught man. It’s sad his legacy is haunted is only what people remember. But I do love to hear Dan tell the stories n the history of Georgia.
♥️♥️♥️🐶👍👍🌟🌟🌟
This was a great story. Im glad you both made this video on the history
I'll try to make this short. Since we really enjoy seeing these long gone places and talking about them. I also was brought up around some really old homes . My grandfather had 2 parcels of land one below railroad tracks and one above out in the county. The railroad built two houses for crew to stay in,there was a hillside spring just below the tracks and a creek below that. Across the creek in what we called the bottom and just less than a quarter mile beyond that access to the Ky river, stood a two story railroad house. It stood on a rise ,made of wood preserved with creosote.
I could listen to Dan's stories all day! Hope you get that permission 😊
I love every video with Dan and you, Robert! A great historical team!!
Love all the history you share on the places you visit. I really get into the history and Todd of Appalachian History Detective does an awesome job of researching the places he visits. I've watched him and sidestep since I first got on here and love both channels. I also love how two grown men can scare each other of ghosts and otherwordl things. Keep sharing your adventures and keep scaring each other.
Really cool history. A spooky area anyway. I enjoyed this very much! It nice that there are people like You and Dan keeping history alive. ❤
Great video Robert. That man Dan is a fountain of information and a walking encyclopedia! He knows people and places, dates and times, houses and homes and cemeteries. And he doesn't use a cheat sheet!
Love your videos and enjoy watching them. May the lord bless and protect you and Dan
This channel just gets better and better ! Well done to all of you !
Absolutely love this channel! I'm newly subscribed and this is my new favorite! The scares are hilarious but bringing new life to those forgotten just by speaking their names is such a beautiful thing! I think we get immune to the fact there were living and breathing humans with full lives here before us and we should slow down and pay homage! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
If you are new you have a lot of catching up. If you go back 3 years there are some amazing cemetery videos of lost graves and cemeteries that Robert, his son and Brian Mallard would uncover physically by hand. And it’s been adventurous ever since. Welcome welcome to Roberts channel. 😊
@@cherylmahaffey6184 Aww! Thank you! I've been binging this channel a few days now and have laughed and cried immensely! I'm a super country east Texas girl and can appreciate those priceless "off the beaten path' discoveries! 💜💜💜
Hello, andso very nice to see you both again and thanks for sharing this story with us as the photos were beautiful but I was not so parallel to the paintings as well .stay safe 😊😊
I could listen to Dan for hours…❤️❤️
I love hearing a good story especially when it’s based on history. Some of my fondest childhood memories are sitting at grandmas feet and listening to our family history. No one truely is gone as long as their story is still told and remembered. Thank you for sharing and keeping history alive.
Love your knowledge of history Dan so interesting ❣️❣️
Loved it, do more ghost stories you all are in the perfect atmosphere ☺️💕
Great video! It is sad the house no longer stands. The ghosts were letting you two know they are still around! LOL! Happy Halloween everyone!!
Thank you for sharing this. I always did enjoy your adventures with Mr. Dan . I don’t know about ghost houses or ghost towns not really sure about those Barrett world things. Never have experienced it. Might need to put that on my bucket list.
It was a beautiful house ghosts and all, you and Dan sure can spook me LOL.
This Channel makes history come alive .i love it.
I love it when Dan tells his memories.
I love seeing stuff like this! My family is from Woodland, The Braddys, my ancestors probably knew the Jones'. Great content.
Being a Georgia native this historical account is very interesting to me. Thank you for sharing!
That would have been an amazing house to walk thru in its prime! For Mr Jones to be self taught on building, he certainly had some natural skills!! I know by now, the old house would have been taken down by the overgrowth of kudzu and other vegetation but I have to wonder what caused it to burn down, way out there by itself. Maybe lightening from a thunderstorm or possibly "something" else? 😮😂
Story time! I love listening to stories of long ago! I can listen to them all day long.
Nukes Top5 is the reason I am here and joining. Love the work you guys do besides the odd stuff ;) thanks gents!
Welcome aboard!
Love these history talks with walks ! So very interesting
Just love listening to you all don’t ever stop keep up the great work!
I love hearing the history of the old towns and the families that lived there. My Dad (who was a Jones) was from Valley, AL which is right by West Point. Great Story
I could listens to Dan's Southern drawl all day long. He should do voice overs!
Thanks Robert and Dan… could listen to you guys all day
I just love your videos. You do such a great job and love hearing both of you. I watch every day and if I don't see anything I go back to old ones.
I think it's amazing that you're getting all this information. History from your friend and what a awesome friendship you have. I wish I had a friend to go exploring with. Thank you for sharing and making these videos.
wowza
Love just about any history but creepy history always seems the best in my opinion! Great job to your crew!
Great story.. wish the house was still there ❤
I just love yalls hunted stories, please keep sharing
Love these videos of old houses & buildings. Keep exploring & please take us along
They may have quit renovating because spirits don't like rehabbing!
Love The Adventures of these videos please do more😊
Fascinating gentlemen.
Rotorua, New Zealand 🇳🇿
Very interesting and kinda sad...thank you Robert and Dan for this story ❤
Oooh. The walking cane going missing is so scary. I believe. I had the experience of things materializing and de materializing. 😮
Interesting story- thank you!
Love these stories keep them coming 😊
Great video guys thank you so much! God Bless
Amanda Jones (the wife of James Jones) only lived to the age of 37! Sounds like she was a good godly woman based on what was carved on her headstone. 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
So interesting! You guys are great! 👍
I love listening to the stories Dan tells.
Nothing is by chance, Robert & Dan. When Robert asked Dan "do you think they're watching us right now, Dan?" Then a single bush to the right of Dan gets yanked as if to acknowledge your question, Robert. Nothing is by chance; spirits DO EXIST. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I just enjoy seeing you and Dan💜 Happy Spooktober🪦👻🏡 #Halloween 🎃🖤🧡
It was such a lovely home.
Great story I loved it thank you so much ❤
I think it is interesting that you find areas that are spooky every year in Oct. Thanks for the trip.

I love these stories and the history!
Excellent story Thx for sharing the history! Time to go.
❤ the story telling! Very interesting.
My mama was a Fuller raised in Juniper and went to school in Talbot county. My grandma Ruth married a man named Jack Martin and lived in Manchester. They're both passed away now but the Martin in the cemetery made me curious if he was related...
This is cool guys well done!
Very enjoyable video
I appreciate the informative narrative.
I love your stories with Dan!
Love your videos I was born in Jesup GA
