- This week I decided to try to go SOLO FLAWLESS in Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2 using the WORST subclass in the game. It has a 1% usage rate, which is absolutely abysmal. Here's how it went...

I think Behemoth is better than it gets credit for, but in a lot of cases it just splits the difference between Void and Arc so people tend to gravitate toward one or the other.
Yeah I feel like that's why we have so many void titans now because behemoth used to be almost unstoppable but they nerfed that half of the kit so more people just went void when the scales tipped
Behemoth isn't terrible, there's just better options, and the numbers to back it up obviously. The Titan's void kit is busted and Arc being slightly behind it since some of the nerfs.
Void still has the fastest super regen, +40 HP for every engagement and being able to keep regenerate that overshield is just another benefit, OHK scatter grenades... it just keeps going. The sandbox is terrible and has been for over a year now.

Void titans are what's left and it's only a crutch. There's a clear opportunity cost running Titan instead of almost anything else.
Being a stasis Titan is like using blink in the sense that if you can master the play style then you can control how a game plays out

Behemoth is a sneakily good subclass that you can make super fast with various different things such as cryoclasm slide cancelling into a titan skate or dunemarchers, ever since I started playing it last season I have been having fun in pvp again freezing people with lances and coldsnaps
Been maining behemoth for years and even at its worst it’s still been a solid B tier subclass, the movement and area denial on that subclass is nuts if you put the time into it
I tried the lancecap but.. No. I tried collective action with the ice barricade but I only have 3 guns with that perk..
I feel there's nothing to build into on stasis Titan, unlike osmiomancy on warlock and bakris on hunter.
@@sQueezedhe lance cap and hoarfrost are both traps and I seriously wouldn’t recommend running them. Hoarfrost can be decent if you run coldsnaps or duskfields but in most cases you’re gonna want to keep your regular barricade to shatter crystals instantly.
Armamentarium is boring but incredibly solid, especially if you build into tectonic harvest with the elemental pick-up mod for free weapon surges and font mods.
One-eyed mask is incredibly solid for keeping you alive when you get aggressive.
Build I’m running atm is peacekeepers + a grenade launcher which has been incredibly fun on anomaly, peacekeepers are a natural pick for behemoth since they pair very nicely with the existing movement and crank it to 11.
There’s a lot you can build into on behemoth it’s just a little less obvious since the subclass specific exotics aren’t great on it.
@@sQueezedhe A fun build I can recommend is cryosthesia + high handing sniper, cryoclasm, diamond lances, coldsnap grenades, and hoarfrost z + whisper of shards and chains. Used it eruption and was very fun getting massive multi kills just chaining different freeze abilities before sliding into or punching them.
@@sQueezedhebehemoth suffers when you use any of the exclusive exotics for it, just use a movement exotic like dunemarchers or peacekeepers

Hey, I noticed in some of your background footage that you're using dredgon's lash with the boots on your strand titan...
I say you should give kehpri's a try since you're using black talon anyways. They both recharge your barrier faster, but kebpri's uses solar kills instead of suspended to charge it up, and can even charge itself a bit if you get good placement with your barricade to 1-tap your foe
Behemoth isn't bad atm! The seasonal mods available atm are definitely helping out all Stasis Classes but Behemoth has a few ways to Freeze & Shatter.
I will say Bungie addressed the Triple Behemoth x Rime OS Spam dealy. Still annoying, still pretty strong (Again the Mods are helping!)
Bungie nuked the Rime OS & then updated the Warlock Balidorse(SP?) Gauntlets to give your team a FIFTY Point OS if they're in reach of your freeze rift when cast!!
Thank you for shedding a bit of light on behemoth this season. It’s really fun because if the artifact mod this season. I’ve been running stasis even since last season because it’s neutral and passive aggressiveness is fun to play with
Considering the sheer mass number of hunters, seeing arc hunter tied in 2nd least used is wild, it was very strong pre - 3.0. That said, I am happy to be a part of that 2% today.
I hate what they did in the 3.0 update because, one, they barely brought back bladedancer, and two, they effectively nerfed every part of bottom tree arcstrider and gave half of it to titans and warlocks.
@@tenacity25I agree, ark hunter 2.0 would smash 3.0 in a fight. Its only real upgrade was in PVE.
Yeah I feel like arc hunters and solar titans both got worse in PvP but better in pve

Fun thing you could do if you do the berserker card is use arbor warden with drengr’s lash. The shield emits the strand wave, but I’ve found that even if it doesn’t land, it forces repositioning / retreat.
As that 1 in 100 behemoth titan main, it's super underrated and can be incredibly powerful. I'm not good enough to go flawless, but the cryoclasm slide alone can mess people up easily.
im another behemoth guy, but i have a bit more passive build with hoarfrost-z. another perk of stasis is the ease to reach 3-100 stats with the fragments
@kyanmatena3948 seriously, I've got triple 100s with a pair of lion rampants, and I cam just switch those out for an unmasterworked PKs to have the same stat setup

As an arcstrider and revenant loving hunter, gotta say...
I miss when shurikens did actual damage.
I miss when bottom tree arcstrider existed, rather than being nerfed and literally fragmented across all 3 arc subclasses.
And I wish for a day where I can play bladedancer, because I don't own d1, didn't play it, and have no intentions of buying it just to play on a console when I dont enjoy using a controller for FPS games. It's probably my favorite power fantasy in all of destiny and I'm barely getting to experience scraps of it for the first time, with just the addition of blink - which i never take off, just like with voidlock - and "soon" a super.
Also, is anyone else confused as to why Lethal Current and Combination Blow didn't swap places? Combination blow makes SO MUCH MORE SENSE as an aspect, and Lethal Current makes so much more sense as a melee ability. It'd open up a lot more build opportunities too, that just don't exist now. And just be better overall..
edit: Oh, and I can't wait for the light at the end of my tunnel to be THE DELAYED DLC with my only promises towards what i want being a super and vague mention of stasis buffs!
I concur. I find behemoths are foodfor denying space. I tend to play it off and on. I did some really annoying things to folks with glacier grenades and arbor warden. Great video.

Behemoth is far from the worst in pvo, its just not popular. Arcstrider, sunbreaker, broodweaver and honestly even stormcaller are all worse than it.
It's about equal to voidwalker
Behemoth is actually disgusting but it takes more thought to use compared to Striker or Sentinel, but the actual worst Titan is Sunbreaker. Sunbreaker has virtually no options other than Perigrine for shoulder charge or Lorely for neutral game enhacements, it's in desperate need of a rework or a new aspect that lends itself to pvp
cool video TV, I personally think the usage on the strand/stassis Titan is also impacted by the easy mode that is bubble titan with barrier overshields.
You don't win just by being a void Titan. Stand behind a weak barricade with only +40 hp and you're very much a target - especially for threadlings. Under Over negates your shield and Bubble is useless vs Conditional (that everyone but me has) or a good stasis warlock or 2 coordinated team mates (with one two punch shotguns)... Or any other super. Especially well.
Hi, Behemoth main here. The class has always been considered "bad" because people actually have to use their brains when playing the class which is hard for the majority of players when most of the top tier classes have the easiest/strongest tools in their kits. Behemoth is the fastest Titan subclass in the game, elevated even further with Dunes and PKs which enables a super fun and aggresively fast playstyle that most players don't expect because they don't face the subclass very often. I'm not a super amazing player but I'm definitely not bad at PvP like when I started D2 at the midpoint of season 15. Here are a few tips for the class:
Cryoclasm is the strongest aspect of the Behemoth Kit: the enhanced slide helps you both offensively close the gap between you and targets so you can get into your optimal range for whatever weapon you're using, or you can use it to get into cover. You can also skate out of a cryoclasm slide for Dawnblade level speed by canceling the slide with a press of the sprint button, then immediately titan skating afterward. You don't want to have too much mobility as you need a small jump for the most effective titan skating. Unless I'm using PKs, I always try to stay under 3 mobility in my PvP builds. Dunemarchers is a fantastic pick here as you can get even faster speeds using the exotics enhanced slide benefit.
In my opinion, Behemoth is the second best class to run PKs on (Void being first obviously, hopefully they nerf that class soon). You wanna have at least 50 to 75 mobility depending on how fast you want your strafe speed to be, and it's not hard at all to reach that level of mobility on Behemoth due to the beneficial stat boosts that certain fragments give which allow you to put more +10 Mobility mods in your mod slots. When you get into gunfights you will be strafing so quickly that opponents cannot keep up with you, this is especially important when fighting controller players as you can outrun the "target stickiness" that the input device gives them.
Diamond lance is the second best aspect for a PvP Behemoth as hitting someone with it is basically a free kill. I like to pair this with coldsnap grenades and conditional finality to get the most amount of diamond lances possible in a match, which has gotten me team wipes when i freeze 3 guys then close the gap using cryoclasm+conditional or Shiver Strike. This is a very common occurance in lowman gamemodes like Trials.
Behemoth also has the ability to essentially get a near free-pick on anybody using it's Melee, Shiver Strike. THe way this works is you want to be airborne and activate shiver strike. As soon as you punch somebody, immediatly start spamming your uncharged melee and you will lunge to your target and get the final blow on them. In general, you always want to be airborne when using shiver strike as it is much more fluid to use in the air rather than using it on the ground.
Players I reccomend watching for witnessing the glory of a mastered behemoth are Nicho, Hynra, Lolgistics Officer, and Manstrual.

I mean titans have gotten so many nerfs. Arc titan LITERALLY gets nerfed AT LEAST once per season since season of Seraph. Strand and Stasis titan has 1 build each that is decent. People need to start using Pyrogale Consecration more because that can 6 man a team no problem. And fuck void titan that's boring
Was there another way you were creating stasis shards to utilize rime since you didnt have techtonic harvest?
I'd say strand titan is alot more fun now than Behemoth unfortunately. Try out Arbor Warden with Strand titan to have shield throw with the strand suspend and grapple. Movement feels great on it and the super has good range on it. Behemoth can be solid on maps like this, but I think the class struggles in more competitive modes in my experience.
Funny actually, as a behemoth main I find it shines in competitive modes more than 6s
Try cryo clasm and skating with it, it’s the fastest titan subclass by far

the last build i spec’d out before I quit Destiny was my Stasis Titan. I used the arms (can’t remember their name but they turn barricade into crystal). I think there is virtually 0 downtime between when I could make some sort of stasis crystals…. between barricade, grenade, dash move and super….
I must of played every single behemoth player on Sunday because I matched quite a few.
Oddly enough Stasis Titan was also what I ran this weekend when running titan. But I used the meta Conditional/Igni or Unending/Cloud Strike. Both of the weapons have synergy with harmonizers and fissures applies to conditional shatters. I just ran Tectonic and Cryoclasm though. No idea why you're using Rime with no shard generation, you get a little from freezing with howl and the artifact mod but not enough to make that better than say durance for increased slow duration. Resto and Revive DR from Scars is a smart play, especially for Solo Flawless. I used movement exotics personally.
Stasis titan isn't bad at all, I think people just don't realise how strong it is, especially in organised teams. I think it's way stronger than arc hunter, which when you normalise for class usage rate has a way lower usage

I don't know PVP at all (but i love your videos), but PVE stasis Titan with Armamentarium, two glacier grenades is really powerful. High uptime for the grenades with the right aspect and fragments. Freeze any champion or beefy yellow bars and pretty good boss damage. I feel like it is slept on.
It's been a while since I've played Destiny but it's always nice to check out what TV's been up to. Great gameplay as always man.
My cousin just made a stasis titan build with Precious Scads for pve and we easily beat the PsiOps Battlegrounds GM with him using it. I feel like with the 3.0 changes, any subclass can flourish if the time is spent investing in the build. I would say pvp is different, but many Destiny players in general just follow the trends for pve and pvp instead of finding ways to utilize things that aren’t as popular. I personally feel like Sunbreaker is probably the overall worst subclass for PVP, based on all the Sunspot nerfs that were brought in to accommodate Loreley Splendor, which has since been nerfed significantly
Last time I went solo flawless it was with Beserker and this is why:
Surplus.
I used the useless melee as handling fuel for my Titan (that had no weapon haste exotics) and used slow archetype weapons but maxed out.
Shackle grenade would literally keep people off the zone, melee could be used as a dash and the super, if I ever got it, is OK vs one person.

Remember. Stasis numbers is quite deflated because not everyone who plays trial has stasis. This is not true for any other subclass even strand since you need lightfall for trials
I think a reason for why titan subclasses have such low usage stats is because void is just that good. Why would you run anything other than void? Provides solo and team support with overshields, bubble charges faster than most other supers, and is generally easier to use than the other titan subclasses.
I am not saying subclasses like solar don't deserve buffs, but void being as strong as it is is a reason for why every subclass besides it has a low usage rate.
As a warlock main and void titan side main, I just got behemoth 2 weeks ago and just wanted to have fun this weekend. Went flawless immediately..it’s so gross in close combat shotgunning and smging with pk’s..especially with this map.
Maybe a bit late but does the Rime fragment work in this built ? I thought you need Tectonic Harvest to spawn Stasis crystals from shatter.
Behemoth is being slept on honestly. I've been using it alot this season
I mean us void titans are still the second most used option by basically 5% in trials so I think we're eating just alright
I was thinking this weekend was a missed opportunity for some behemoth play. The map was perfect for howl and glacier nades.
Got my flawless using arc warlock using cerifuse, arc soul, and getaway artist. I had so much fun. The arc soul instantly kills any threadling coming your way too.
If you are a Titan of course you'd want a subclass where you can easily just straight up have more HP than your opponent.
I went solo flawless on arc Titan with Necrochasm this week... It only took all weekend! Didn't get it done until Sunday night. The only other time I've gone flawless was on strand Titan.
Titan main, this is the exact setup I used all weekend. Except I used Cerberus and Merc. Overreach sniper. Try Cerberus with this, it eats crystals and enemy barricades like a tornado in a trailer park.
Also, Im almost 40 as well 😅

Been using strand titan with those exotic legs ever since they introduced it. I was an arc titan main before & haven’t looked back. I played more aggressive with arc so with strand I learned to let the enemy come to me boyyyyyyyy does it work every time 😂 Try and push me through a doorway & your getting suspended & if I want to push up, I just pop the barricade through the wall…. They never expect it 👌🏾

The look of confusion when the radar is red but it's two specters. Wish PC was that forgiving weekend was an interesting one.
Behemoth falls apart when your opponent equips dead messenger and one shot will shatter your crystals and probably kill you behind them
The first minute and a half is why my motivation to play the game has been going out the window. When strand titan came out, I was super bummed that it was useless in PVP, and to this day it hasn't been looked at
started to play with behemoth peacekeepers last week, since I dropped it in season of the lost. It's really fun, it's worse than void, but I think it's the second to best depending on the map. My gameplay has never been this good, dropping some really high KDAs, and part of that is the fun I've been having sliding all around the map. For anomaly, I found it crazy good to seal players behind walls and pickoff their teammates off position. I wish they nerf void titan even more so this build keeps being secretly op. Also, I wish they would buff the super, make it generate faster, since it's the worst super in the game
I used that subclass all weekend and was having a lot of fun. Used the ice barracde slide through ice conditional someone. It was really good and a lot of fun
As a behemoth "main" (I'm a warlock main but I'll hop on titan just to play behemoth) the artefact is heavily helping behemoth feel viable as a solo behemoth I am praying they make it just part of how stasis works like before my crystals felt like hitting someone with a wet noodle and now they actually feel like a viable strategy of offense
Reason why there's such a disparity between void titan and everything else is the subclass neutral game.
Void has a such a good and easy neutral by just placing your barricade and getting OS as well as having bubble to cap points.
Arc is all about the ape and punching which honestly doesn't work too well in 3's as it does in 6's.
Solar has no neutral, 2 of the aspects rely on solar ability kills/final blows and concecration is just a meme of an aspec, albeit fun to use in 6's.
Stasis has the 2nd best neutral of all the subclasses I'd have to say. Cryo is a must have aspect and the others you can just throw on dsepending on what you're going for. Ice wall nades are basically a second barricade you can use offensively.
And finally Strand, the most dissapointing out of Hunter, Warlock and Titan (for PvP of course). Strand just has nothing going for it kind of like solar, however unlike solar it actually has 1 aspect it can use in the neutral, Drengrs Lesh. Although for Drengrs to feel useful you'd need to pair it with the exotic boots.
Overall Titan's subclasses, for the most part, feel like they lack in creativity and cohesion. I'd love for the final subclass (if there is another subclass) to break the mold and not just have a melee or shield centric theme or have aspects that could aide the neutral game. (Obviously these thoughts are all about PvP).

This is crazy to hear because the past weak or two I been using the strand titan it’s so fun and reliable it’s like a hunter strand but with more reliability because of the shield for defense which also suspends enemies and the artifact makes threadlings after kills the super itself I’ve literally wiped entire teams in comp/trials and regular PvP

I think it is a skill thing. As a below average PvP player I find it really hard to make plays on the Behemoth. I melee past opponents, put crystals in the wrong place and then my weak gunplay gets exposed. Or I could have an overshield that equalizes my poor aim compared to others. That said I enjoy use Ager's in Iron Banner with Ice Mantle.
I watched a lot of streamers on Friday and there seemed to be some kind of "threadling panic", which might have steered some easily influenced players towards Strand Huntism. Already on Monday the situation seemed to have cooled off and I saw more different builds.
I think part of the issues with behemoth is a lot of people playing today don’t even have access to stasis, let alone want to use it.
I find the neutral game of behemoth titan to be pretty good, I just think the super is really, really bad.
I believe the worst sub in the game for trials is strand titan. I mean, what does it do? The three melee charges are good as "we have dodge at home", but that's not amazing. The super has many of the same issues as behemoth, but the neutral game has almost nothing going for it either. It's great in PvE, don't get me wrong, and I think it's totally fine and fair to have an amazing PvE class that doesn't do as well in PvP.
I think the second worst trials sub is broodweaver, but you've already covered your build and playstyle for that class extensively.
As a behemoth main in PvP, I have so much fun using it. It’s stronger than people realize, but I almost hope people never do.
I think there needs to be A Darkness Subclass 3.0 change. New Stasis supers and grenades would be great and give more variety especially for Behemoth
Behemoth really just needs more ways to shatter outside of cryoclasm, always been a fan of contact grenade style melee that does low damage but instantly shatters crystals and frozen targets in an aoe
Ngl I think behemoth’s kit is fine as is for pvp, it just needs some PvE love. It’s already pretty good in pvp, but the average player won’t be able to utilize it. If the artifact mods stay as part of the base kit then it’s perfect

Behemoth is underrated, but mostly because you need to lean on strong game sense to get near the skill ceiling.
Solar titan is probably the actual worst. No movement benefits, and registration for consecration in particular is super unreliable
Dood I felt the same way about revenant hunter with max damage shatter dive. NO BODY used this during my weekend in my experience like maybe 1 hunter did but it didnt matter going solo flawless. I was the only hunter going shatterdive max damge glacier grenades so wild considering the history how broken it was and yet EVEN WITH the seasonal mods almost bronging it back, still,I face basically no one useing it effectively. Sad 😢😂😂🎉🎉🎉
Its literally cause void titan is so overpowered in this current meta. Why use the other classes? Lol not that they're bad per se.
Strand titan with arbor warden completely took over my main loadout in PVP, no matter the map or meta its my go to fishing subclass
I think that arc hunter might be the weakest overall for trials. Nothing about it is bad but everything it is good at, a different build does it better. If you want a really aggressive melee sustain build why not go karnstiens dawnblade or voidwalker to double down on regen or arc titan for all of its ape potential (with dunes it even beats arcstrider in aoe melee damage. If you want a uppercut melee both solar and stasis titan arguably do it better. If you want a ohk ability at range you can go arc titan and maintain the pocket sniper of flux but with the rest of the striker kit, or warlock which synergizes way better than hunter with grenade builds. Hell, solar hunter gets a ohk ability with way better tracking, refresh on kill, and can be turned up to 11 with artrys.

In my opinion I think the subclass in pvp is easily solar titan with essentially no pvp kit when it comes to aspects and it relying on lorley to be barely usable
My behemoth, Icefall Mantel build with high mobility, moving target stasis smg, and merciless was funny enough the only thing that got me to flawless on anomaly... and I'm a hunter main for pvp 😂
It because Titan subclasses have been nerfed into the ground. You have 2 run stacks or you will come up short against Hunter and Warlock movements.

I am no where even close to as good as u are at pvp, and i went solo flawless with behemoth, i used icefall mantles and my fav burden of guilt fusion, felt so strong and now i see a tv make a whole ass video on going flawless with behemoth, im a legend

To be fair, low usage rate doesn't mean it's bad
I think one of the biggest reasons for this split in population is that for a titan, it’s almost mandatory to pick void titan so you can just play on autopilot and let the bubbles carry match wins every other game. Why pick a different subclass when one of them has a “free win” button?
Behemoth might be the least used Subclass in Trials but I think the worst Trials Subclass is Sunbreaker, if I get a Loreley Titan on my team I pretty much already count my loss. And you’d be surprised how many Solar Titans there are in solo queue

I main Behemoth in PvP, have done so for months now
It just requires a lot of skill to succeed with, but it's perfectly fine as is, maybe it could use some QoL buffs but that's it
All contact supers on Titan need increased DR imo.

As a Titan main it’s nice to hear someone speak out about Titan being in a bad spot. Outside of banner we have nothing in pve and pvp we keep getting nerfed despite void being like the only useable class.
Pretty sure the worst for pvp is Solar Titan. There are some fun gimmicks with ashen wakes that can catch some players by surprise but when you're above average the sbmm kicks in an it loses viability.
Solar titan is by far the worst for trials in my opinion. The super takes way to long to get and sunspots require a solar ability to get and don't have much utility. Lorely is required to have any real consistent usage out of sunspots in trials. Even with lorely there is no point running that over void titan which gives over shield to the entire team without the need of an exotic and has a much better super for zone trials
Behemoth has always been a very strong subclass it’s just been overshadowed by the insanity that is void and arc Titan. In my opinion both strand and solar Titan are significantly weaker than it, especially sunbreaker since it has literally no neutral game and the abilities it does get are mid at best. That class desperately needs help man.
I think that after void and arc titan feels mid at best, solar's aspects are not great "especially consecration", behemoth feels weak compared to the other clases stasis and the same for berserker "which if you ask me it has nothing great for pvp especially compared to the flexibility of hunter and the spam that hunters and warlocks have. They should buff behemoth super tracking it is still bad at best
It feels like Titans are weak right now due to a lot of exploit melee and slide mechanics finally getting patched. Titans relied on exploiting netcode rather than their subclasses. This means they're now left with a subpar PVP kit aside from crutching bubble.
well maybe tv, just maybe Bungie didnt make Bubble and Well so damn strong on a continuation of capturing the zone objectives, just saying maybe you will see more titan subclasses if that wasn't the case.
solar and strand make sense , but stasis? stasis is a fantastic class if you know how to use
