ur presentation reminded me of a presentation of reducing an arbitrary m×n matrix 2 echelon form and a proof of existence and uniqueness of this form. this was in a Modern Algebra course i took. i'm not saying that u should do this but just imagining applying the Prime Newtons style 2 that presentation warms my heart.
Hey for the first 0 I simply did R1-R3. But when I got the finished matrix it was -13z=22 which I think is wrong. So is it that you shouldn’t simply subtract 2 diff rows or something

This method is no stress.
We called that forward elimination with backward substitution.
Is it necessary to turn the lowest left number to zero first? Or I can turn the center left most number first if I want to?
I think about exercise after the teaching would have helped reinforce what was learnt...

There’s another method that doesn’t require you to use matrices. But it depends whether or not your teacher requires you to use them.
