It was tight with the saboteur in charge of City's transfers. Surprisingly low number of high profile signings, while buying loads of youth prospects. And the quality of squad players, like Veiga at the start, or Manu Sanchez later, was pretty poor. Txiki definitely kept the club afloat XD

I’d love to see a rebuild of a Scandinavian team like in Norway or Sweden eg a Rosenberg given the leagues are off set with the main European leagues which adds an additional challenge when it comes to European completions

@omegadad I get that, I think in away games in the cups teams can get at you so much on the counter. If you play with one striker on poacher will get you the goals you want and tactic wise, with the outfield players I think 3 players on defend 3/4 on support and the other 3/4 on attack will be alot more balanced in big games

It’s literally impossible to manage… you lose greenwood & sancho early, Luke shaw and malacia are out for basically the whole season all while having absolutely nothing to spend without outgoings, which is irrelevant anyway because no one wants Lindelof, maguire, Varane or anyone else from the squad 🤣it’s a joke
Another 5 seasons of this save with Luke relying on DoF for transfers and Omega Dad being back in control would be very interesting.
