TL;DR: I did it, have advice and directions to give Just did it! Took a lot of retrying. It wasn't long before I had accomplished each task, it just took a while to do the slate and the 1,500 in the same run. :) As far as I know, any game on both XBox and Playstation uses the same controls in the same locations on the controller, they just have different names (and the left stick and direction control swap positions). I'm on the XBox 360, so I'll use those names. So, to be clear: [Command: XBox button / PS button guess] Marker menu: Left Bumper (LB) / L1 Grab object/Darkcatch: Right Bumper (RB) / R1 Grab board: Trigger (Left & Right, or LT & RT) / L2 & R2 Pump right foot: A / X Pump left foot: X / Square Brake: B / Circle Get off board: Y / Triangle Sticks are presumably the same, LOL! (Left to navigate, Right to trick), as is the direction pad (gestures, or used with the Marker menu). I start with [Lateflip the couch]. If you're unfamiliar, a Lateflip is essentially a flip while you're in the air already. It's a big jump, so from the start I pump a bunch then hold down on the right stick for a few moments, then quickly flick up, flick down, flick up AND to the right or left (like drawing an N but forgetting to change the angle until the last stroke, and the last stroke maybe even the wrong way). If I miss, I restart the challenge, like Mahalo did after missing the fence. This is to save any wasted time by the fail, I start with this trick because it's the one most likely to fail AND good to do from the start point. Then I Return To Marker to go back to the start point (LB + Up on the direction pad) to go for [Slide a pole jam]. I pump a lot and aim right to go for the pole jam that reaches out over the down slope (Mahalo passes it at 2:45 when doing the grind on the low fence). To count you have to be sideways (even the nose or the tail is fine, as long as you're perpendicular to the pole). I try to do flips off of this to get a good multiplier, if I manage a 2x or 3x I go to the end of the area, turn around, do a flip trick to maintain the multiplier, then use the broken picnic table like Mahalo at the end of this video. I usually only manage to get a 2x, and jumping down to the street won't score enough on 2x, so I aim to grind the fence, then flip off and 180/360 as much as possible to land on the street. I rarely pull this off so then I Return to the start to continue, or if I lose the multiplier or otherwise ruin the run, I just continue as follows. Usually next I head for the "wide ledge". I get off the board with Y and step up on it, facing along it. A simple Y to get on and moving slowly, then lean forward on the right joystick to [Nose Manual wide ledge]. It only requires a moment so I release it right away. In the video, at 1:40, Mahalo flips off the ledge, I stop the manual a moment earlier and press a Trigger instead to grab the board. Then for [Footplant on any ledge], I got the idea from this video, the way he was trying to do it with a Boneless (which doesn't count, he obviously slipped off the edge while trying to do it again and accidentally invisibly got the Footplant when landing). I found out doing a Footplant while coming off of a ledge, or going over a ledge, counts too. So I do a Boneless off the edge into a Footplant. (In the Trick Guide, look under Grab Tricks for the Boneless category. Both Boneless and Footplants are pressing either Trigger with either Push button). Since my A button tends to get stuck, and for this Right Trigger seems more natural here, this amounts to me holding RT while tapping X, then continue holding RT and I hold X. VERY simple this way, just RT + X, RT + X. You can use either trigger and either pump button for either part. Since I'm near the wide ledge, I turn around and use it for [360 flip to a ledge]. I like the wide ledge because it's a wider space to work with. I used to approach slowly and jump, but it's a bit high. Too fast and I don't even clear the edge, the best I would get is grinding the edge (which counts as long as I did an appropriate trick to get up there). I discovered that if you're standing still ON the ledge, it counts. Much easier. So Y, run onto the ledge, Y, B. I push the right stick right, roll to down, then flick to up right (the command for 360 Hardflip in the Trick Guide under Flip Tricks, Ollie Flips). As long as the game doesn't read this as some form of Pop Shuvit, whatever trick I actually get seems to count. By now I've unlocked [Hippy Jump the rail], so I travel back to around the start point (the start point itself is too close to do it for me). Like the couch, this one is high, so hold both pump buttons on approach, then release when you're sort of close. If I miss it, I'll go back to the start point anyway, but turn towards the road and circle back around clockwise to get the distance I need to get the speed and crouching time I need. Around here I go for [Grind the fence on the bank]. As you can see in the video, it isn't as I feared that you have to reach ALL the way to the top of the fence (though that DOES count), the rail lower down counts too. I angle my approach more severely than I would because the slope is so steep that it turns you away a bit (what feels intuitive to me always misses the rail). From the start point I'll ride parallel to the fence and aim to do my Ollie from the top of the down slope, or from it, as the fence is angled downward so it's a lower jump. Since all that's left are my two hardest tasks and [Grind the low fence], I do that now. I go back to the start to get some pumping room, and aim right again. I use the same ramp that Mahalo tries for this at 2:35, next to the leftmost arrow indicating the low fence. With full pump speed, just going off this ramp at the correct angle will land you on the fence, no Ollie required. Since this likely ends with me out of bounds, I've tried to combine this with the 1,500 trick, but I had a tough time getting a good multiplier AND getting the perfect angle AND enough speed AND doing enough of a trick to get the points. Now it's only the pain in the butt tasks. At this point I change my Marker to the downslope, just behind the couch but closer to the middle (i.e. towards the road), aiming / facing between the slate and the wide ledge, for these final two tasks. For [Manny Flip Manny on the slate], Manny Flip Manny means do a Manual, flip out of it to land in a Manual (Manual and Nose Manual both count for either part of this). I have not much problem easing the joystick into a Manual while I'm rolling, but have great difficulty landing in a Manual, and my skater usually doesn't do flips when I indicate them (only when I'm TRYING to do straight Ollies and Nollies, LOL! Like for the couch, earlier). I found my skater more obedient with Nollie Flips than Ollie Flips. Therefore my method, which I did over and over until the game would occasionally understand me, was to skate slow-ish up to the slate - which I note was the same slate I had to land on flipping off the roof in a Pro Challenge I did before - start to Nose Manual, (skating because a Nose Manual usually slows me down, so this way I'm still moving), then flick down right (left should work too), then quickly ease into the Manual spot before I land the flip. Essentially doing an upside-down and maybe backwards checkmark, with neither end being at the edge of the joystick's range of movement. Most of the time this did a Nollie instead of the flip, and the rare flip didn't land in a Manual, only doing the Manual after I landed (and then often forgetting to release it, LOL! My skater would be Manualling without me touching the controls), but every now and then I'd complete the task this way. Finally, the [1,500 point trick] (This is why you might have Coach Frank giving you a tip during this whole challenge. At least me and Mahalo do). Any time I had a multipler at the correct end of the area (especially a 2x and unquestionably on the rare 3x) I'd try what Mahalo did (or as I said earlier for 2x, grinding the fence first. I never had the presence of mind to do it, but I think a Darkgrind - RB when you Ollie/Nollie to grind with the board upside down - would make for bigger points. Until you land, it all counts as one trick, pointwise, so everything helps) to get this task, maybe doing flips to maintain the multiplier, remembering that repeating the same trick works less and less each time. But most times, THIS is when I'd get to it. Last. Again, my Marker is moved, so from there I'd aim for the wide ledge. I'd do some flip to grind the edge, then some flip off of it to get SOME multiplier (the fancier I get, the higher the multiplier, as long as I land. Usually one would be a Nollie as they seem to count more, but only one as variety counts most of all), then again, aiming for the broken picnic table like Mahalo to land in the street, rotating as much as possible (remember, right on both sticks or left on both turns you faster than just the right stick). Hope this helps!
Gary Cole no I shouldn’t but the way they typed the trick confused tf out of me so I had to google it we’ve literally all been there and if you say you haven’t that’s cap
I don’t know if this happened to anyone else, but in my case I was not being able to get 1,500 points even when my trick were a lot better and it all was because you have to do other tricks in order to get a multiplier and then you do your final trick.
I don't know why.. I just figured out it only works if you foot plant with the left tigger.. The right one won't register. Once I figured that out 2 tries and I put this goddamn thing behind me.
+Justin Romero That's easy, just ollie up to a ledge and grab your board with either trigger then press A(Xbox) or X(PS), the 360 flip is the real pain.
don't actually grind on the rails when it says to do a slide. i was stuck on this challenge for a while, but then i looked in the trick guide and found out that grinds and slides are different, lol. felt hella stupid but its an easy mistake to make
I finally got it. For the slate, just do a manual and at the the top when you almost stop, do a pop shuvit and do the motion for a manual before you hit the floor to land in a manual. It doesn't matter if it's a nose or a regular manual
And for the 1500 get a 2 times by doing a grin on a the pole to right and in front when you first spawn in, the make your way back to the pole leading off into the street (to the left when you turn around) while keeping your 2x multiplier and it should give you at least 1500 when you do the grind and jump off then land. Just don't bail it like I did
Here’s what you have to do. You have to manual up the slate do a trick that involves an Ollie then as soon as you hit the ground manual again off the slate
Two tips.. Manuals are almost center stick so almost try and just center it after the mani flip and you barely need to do it for it to count. Foot plant with the left trigger, the right one won't register the trick complete.
YES, this seriously needs to be fixed, im starting to go insane because of how unbeatable career mode is I've been playing career mode for many, many years and I still can't beat it 💀
how the fuck do you manny flip and manny on the slate? i can't manny on the slate its like the hardest shit ever bro wtf. i also can't 360 flip on the ledge
to 360 flip: it doesn’t mean spinning while in air it’s actually a trick called 360 flip do it on top of the wide ledge to footplant the ledge: use the wide ledge again. while on the ledge ollie then press rt then x hope this helps
FFuuuccckk I got lucky. I had 10 seconds left to do the 1,500 and the 360 flip. I 360 flipped onto a ledge than double kickflipped off and got 1,500 exactly.
Manny flip manny and 360 flip are fucking impossible and this game is complete bogus and trash. This fucking challenge in particular is pure Hell. I've been trying all day and it's driving me insane. I got this game free with gold and even then it's a waste of my money and time.
If you do big tricks on the 2 first ledges before the ramp to the street you can get 2x or 3x then you will be able to get enough points with a good trick off the ramp onto the street to get it
For anyone struggling with the footplant one, just footplant once and instantly footplant again on the big pad u have to nose manuel on For Xbox Controller just hold RT and press X then press X again while still holding RT Sorry if this one is a little too confusing Anyway hope this helps anyone
Jesus, took me about 10 tries.. that bloody 1,500 trick.. the 360 flip because my thumb just can't do things accurately enough. But I did it eventually.. all you have to do guy's is punch the floor until you've broken 4 knuckles and then it eventually happens. I don't know why skate games really know how to trigger me but fucking hell it feels good to get it done. keep at it guy's n gal's because the closure is worth it. Trust.
The manny flip nanny isn't hard at all the game just fucking blows and doesn't understand when you've done a manny flip to manny 200 fucking times in a row
Same with me. Whenever it counted it, on those rare occasions, I was doing a manual up to that metal plate thing before trying the flip and landing in the manual. THAT'S what I can never get, landing in a manual. A lot of the time I'd land, THEN my skater would start manual-ing. I do believe both manual and nose-manual count, so I'd do one on the way in and land in the other, to make the stick-work simple. Actually, I'd manual in, because you can add momentum in a manual, while nose manual only slows down. On the way down, gravity can compensate for that.
Almost 2020 and the foot plant one makes no sense lol, I foot plant on the big box ledge, didnt work so I did it again to a grind and still didnt work, wtf lol
360 flip too a ledge was the peak of my gamer rage
Dude same in 2021
I’m just about ready to throw my controller through a window

EPIK F34R Yea but for my amount of skill in this game, this challenge is fucking impossible no matter what I do.
EPIK F34R Thanks Dad
I thought I was the only one that gets pissed in this mission
Fucking hate this level LMAO
It’s 2018 & I still have troubles of doing a manny flip
Just flip out of a manual
Landen Waskewitch I thought it was some special flip
The hell
How i can make flip?
U gotta Manny flip and land doing a manny
I FINALLY GOT IT AFTER 4 YEARS :D
Notorious Jiggy count yourself lucky I've been trying all of today and yesterday just to do a 360 flip and still haven't done it
Paul Lewis bro, you got this
Notorious Jiggy same😂👍

it’s been 8 years
I swear that Footplant objective must be messed up because I've done it on every ledge repeatedly and it only seems to work at random for me
Just footplant the wide ledge
Footplant on top of the ledge on the side
That’s doesn’t work I think it’s just glitched
Footplant off of the ledge. I know this is 4 years later, but I hope this helps
fuck this challenge man, im good enough to do all of this it’s just stupid and doesn’t work or isn’t specific enough, ragin
it’s 2020 and i’m looking at tutorials 😂

Two tips.. Manuals are almost center stick so almost try and just center it after the mani flip and you barely need to do it for it to count.
Foot plant with the left trigger, the right one won't register the trick complete.
This challenge is WAYYY TO HARD EVEN ON EASY!! LMAO would love to see the Devs who made this try it. 👎👎👎👏
FOR REAL
YES, this seriously needs to be fixed, im starting to go insane because of how unbeatable career mode is
I've been playing career mode for many, many years and I still can't beat it 💀
Lol. Me: does double kick flip and a miracle whip and gets 725 points. You: does 2 heel flips and gets more than 1’500 points
how the fuck do you manny flip and manny on the slate? i can't manny on the slate its like the hardest shit ever bro wtf. i also can't 360 flip on the ledge
i did this exact challenge like 2 days ago xD such a pain in the ass... finally got it to a 100% in 2018 ;D
I finished this 5 years later
THIS FUCKING COUCH!!!!!!
you have to be in the air than do what it says in the trick guide.
Lol it’s easy man
Footplant one is scuffed. Did it at least 10 times, trying different things and it didn't work
YESS I FINALLY FUCKIN DID THE FOOTPLANT 1 I OLLIED ON THE BIG LEDGE YOU NOSE MANUAL ON THEN I OLLIE OFF IT THEN DID THE FOOTPLANT.😁😁😁😁
thanks for this video for a long time idk how to do a 360 flip and now u finally did it
the footplant on ledge is bs, ive done 5 footplants on ledges but it doesnt count
you have to ride the board next to the ledge and then nollie into a footplant on the ledge
Finally passed after 3 days of raging
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU DO A MANNY FLIP MANNY!!!!!!!!!
Manual then do a trick and land in a manual
Omfg i made IT with 1 sec left. Thank u so much for the help
This helped me on my first run through and I came back to this video for a refresher on my second one lol
The 360 flip allllwaaaayyys messes up for me it’s broken 😞
I quit man, i did 8/10
Get good
to 360 flip:
it doesn’t mean spinning while in air it’s actually a trick called 360 flip do it on top of the wide ledge
to footplant the ledge:
use the wide ledge again. while on the ledge ollie then press rt then x
hope this helps
Is it just me or there is just a select few sk8 mission that are stupidly hard?
Lateflips don’t work on Xbox, I looked at the truck guide and every time you do the control it tells you too it just results in a regular kick flip
havent played this since it came out and im on this challenge
Quick tip, go to grind a ledge then do the footplant before your about to hit the ledge and you'll plant of a ledge
FFuuuccckk
I got lucky.
I had 10 seconds left to do the 1,500 and the 360 flip.
I 360 flipped onto a ledge than double kickflipped off and got 1,500 exactly.
For the foot plant, you have to be on your board, jump, and then do a foot plant
after like a million tries i finally got it
Manny flip manny and 360 flip are fucking impossible and this game is complete bogus and trash. This fucking challenge in particular is pure Hell. I've been trying all day and it's driving me insane. I got this game free with gold and even then it's a waste of my money and time.
Your shit that's why
+Monkey D. Luffy yo mama is shit that's why
Mama will kick your ass
+Monkey D. Luffy you lost cause you forgot to say yo or your
Hahah lol :P
This is truly a Sick List
I can't do the 360 trick on the ledge!
i know that’s what i came here for
A month later and I still can't do a 1,500 point trick
Same asf it’s honestly annoying how hard they make it with so little time and so much objectives they shouldn’t have put a time on it in my opinion
Thanks, this video helped me a lot.
Been having a lot of trouble with the manuals, footplants and score
If you do big tricks on the 2 first ledges before the ramp to the street you can get 2x or 3x then you will be able to get enough points with a good trick off the ramp onto the street to get it
But how do you do manny flip on the manny slate I’m still confused on that
Took me like an hour and a half to do this lmao fuck my life this one was hard
Every time i do a manual kick-flip manual it doesn't count it i don't understand why
Dalton Kozero you have to land in a manual
When you're in the air put your stick back into the manual before you touch the ground
For anyone struggling with the footplant one, just footplant once and instantly footplant again on the big pad u have to nose manuel on
For Xbox Controller just hold RT and press X then press X again while still holding RT Sorry if this one is a little too confusing
Anyway hope this helps anyone
dude u helped me so much, thanks
Jesus, took me about 10 tries.. that bloody 1,500 trick.. the 360 flip because my thumb just can't do things accurately enough. But I did it eventually.. all you have to do guy's is punch the floor until you've broken 4 knuckles and then it eventually happens. I don't know why skate games really know how to trigger me but fucking hell it feels good to get it done. keep at it guy's n gal's because the closure is worth it. Trust.
People who still play In 2020 and stuck on the mission like this
In 2023 I managed to finalize this demonic list
Thanks man this really helped me
How TF do you land with a manual? My character just lands and then manuals and it’s pissing me offfff. I’ma break my controller
The manny flip nanny isn't hard at all the game just fucking blows and doesn't understand when you've done a manny flip to manny 200 fucking times in a row
THIS GUY HAS OVER 39'000 SUBS! HOW IS HE NOT MORE FAMOUS THAN THE PEWDSTER???!!!
wait i mean over 39'000 vids
Tomy Hawkster pewdiepie has over 20 million subscribers he comes nowhere close
do any 360 flip while on that wide ledge
finally got it after 1 year
Thank you bro i finally got it
Did a random 1700 point trick... on a ledge with 2 seconds left. The point system make no sense.
Perform a normal ollie and whilst in midair pull of a kickflip.
Genuinely teared up nearly did it 😭
i thought a manny flip was going into a manual and doing a body flip, i literally spent 10 minutes doing only that
Finely finished this that fucking Manny to flip to many was a fucking pain in the ass
Fuck this challenge I’ve been trying for days it’s so hard
It's 2017 and i still haven't completed this fucking list
A B yep same fucking here
I just did it, and wrote a LONG description of how I did it as a comment on this video. :) If that helps.
You know what pisses me off.... this list is easy... but the damn manny flip manny will not work for me! I land it every time and it doesn’t count.
So basically manual up the slate do a trick and from the trick manual down the slate
How you do the 360 like that
I was literally doing front flips and backflips and still cannot get it.
I did the manny flip manny 5 times and it didn’t count, I’ll never do this challenge again
2024 and im still watching this tutorial 😂😂
On the manual stall dont late flip, it does not count as a flip
You didn’t even 360 the ledge how tf did you get that
The 1500 trick is my peak
how to do flip to manual or ollie to manual i cant do that
Finally beat it with 8 seconds left
Holy shit thank you! Finally did it after a solid 2 hours 😂
Thanks bro i couldent do the 360 flip to a ledge but you were nice and showed me 😁👌👍
For the foot plant ollie and land in a footplant it makes it easier
Can someone please help me do the 360 to ledge
Why is this so damn hard
Bro I finally just beat that sh*t in 2022 & I gotta say I was completely lucky. Boutta smoke me a wood
can you please do a 360 flip tutorial please
never mind
DaKoTA KiD 104 how u did it?😂
A 360 flip, it's like a varial but the start is a shuvit
Almost 2020 and the foot plant one makes no sense lol, I foot plant on the big box ledge, didnt work so I did it again to a grind and still didnt work, wtf lol
Real simple. Footplant off of the ledge if u stay on the ledge for the landing it doesn't count
