The art that is Jeff Sachs is to speak in a way that allows him to be a mainstream and elite influencer, while still pushing for progressive change (or possibly, if I'm the mark, to be a progressive influencer, while still holding the line for the elites). Either way, it's impressive. It helps to be a really smart, really persuasive, highly credentialed academic, of course. But most of these types are either promoting their own pet ideas, something even less relevant to all of us.

The arms industry makes obscene profits selling arms. Period. Enough said. If any president doesn't do his job by pushing sales of arms, he will be shot!
