i think his take is completely wrong, the bowling machine helps kids get used to the pace even if they arent hitting the ball. like when they get into a game and they find a quick tall fiery opening bowler they can handle it with ease. its all about getting the eyes and body used to it.
Yes you are right in a certain way. But as a beginner kid they need to learn the techniques and improve gradually. Priority of coaching is always safety and enjoying the game. Gradually kids will learn to face quick balls. Trust the process.
You make a good point - it can be valuable in this sense. But we're making the point that we see some young kids ONLY do this with the bowling machine. Small bursts of faster bowling can be helpful for the reasons you discussed, but shouldn't replace facing slower bowling focussing on technique
