For the cheap earrings… You need to paint the post with clear fingernail polish. I have been doing it for probably 20 years now and it’s allowed me to wear cheaper costume jewelry. My pediatrician recommended it to me when I was in middle school. Works wonders!
I came down here to say the same thing! I always paint the posts and backs with clear nail polish to prevent them from getting irritated. 😊
I'm glad I stumbled upon this suggestion, I got a bunch of really cute but cheap earrings from my family but my ear is too sensitive. I'll try this!
@@allisoup yes it actually works!
@@mykayuuki I used to get rashes from the buttons and rivets on jeans. I started doing the clear fingernail polish to help with that!
Yep!! If you paint them and then a couple months later they start itching again, it’s time to repaint them!! 😂 It’s a lifesaver! ❤❤❤
If they don't dampen the sound you have the Loops on the wrong way. You will notice the difference immediately. I love the Experience ones, they come in some shiny adult versions and you can still hear a lot.
I use the sleep Loops and I can finally sleep next to my partner again.
I'm autistic and have sensory issues and I SWEAR by the loop earplugs, they are a godsent when it comes to sleeping
Loop is amazing. I recommend them. I have tinnitus so there's no such thing as quiet for me. :/
I’ve had ads for them consistently on my Facebook for months now. I need some for sleep
They are so good, I have the Experience model.
@@hannersandrews same! I occasionally get pulsative tinnitus and oof! I almost always have my earbuds in. Might need to check out loops.
I recently got them and don’t always need them, but I love them on days when sound is too much.
I agree with the other comments on the Loop earplugs. From what you showed us with the earplugs “in” they’re definitely not sitting in your ears correctly, which would make sense why they weren’t working as they should. Mine have been a lifesaver for me so I’d really recommend trying them again!
The hand massager is for people who are arthritic and compression really helps/feels good. My husband has one (but I don't get it either because I don't have that issue)
I bought a pair of Loops for final taking so I could still hear the proctor but not get overstimulated with other students typing or sniffling, etc. I loved them so much that I now have a second pair to keep at my desk along with a pair in my bookbag!
That would have been so helpful when I was in college. I used to just bring a pair of wired headphones and leave the end on the table.
The Loop earplugs work better if you use the inserts that fit in the outside ring - I think they call them mutes. Not sure if your set includes them, but you can also buy them separately. I wear these every night to cut down on snoring husband and restless pet noises that otherwise wake me up. I also second the other comment that you have to sort of ‘twist’ them in until the loop lays flat against the outside of your ear. Good luck!
Do they work with the quiets as well? I know the experience and the mute can be paired together, but I wasn't sure if it adds any noise cancelling when you already have the quiet set
I actually loveee when bodysuits have the hooks like bras. I find they stay done up sooo much better. Most of my ones with snaps frequently come undone.
I needed a Rachael video today! She helps so much with my anxiety like today has been awful and I hear her voice and I'm feeling better already
Sending you lots of love and peace today 💗
@@RachhLoves thanks girl I needed it!!
I have been watching Rachel’s videos for quite some time and will continue to do so because her videos just give me so much peace and joy. Thanks for being you Rach 💕
I have one of those hand massagers because my mom saw one at goodwill and picked it up for $5. She gave it to me because my hands hurt a lot and I love it when she squeezes my hands. I absolutely love it. It’s perfect for my hand and wrist pain.
The hand massager: there are 3 intensity levels, and three sequences of movement that change. You gotta read the manual. Pro tip--it is better upside down. It was my best purchase 2.5 years ago. I have BAD tendonitis and this is a life changer. I wish it had a harder intensity. You charge it with plug and then it's wireless.
I agree with your sister...everything should have pockets!! The cropped vest is def very cute.
Your hair is always so beautifully done! You should definitely do a video on how you do your hair, I can never get my hair like that even though we have the exact same lengths!
Wand iron, curl away from your face. Brush through with fingers or a little serum depending on you hair type. The size of iron depends on your hair / type
Omg funny how Roxi uploaded a testing Amazon’s most wished for products video today too. How cool!!
Few notes on the hand massager- one it is battery operated so you don't have to keep it plugged in. Also I am a balloon twister and in my line of work those are highly recommended. I like that the one you got stretches your fingers.
what is a balloon twister? Are you a clown??!!
Hair is looking absolutely gorgeous! Nice colour!
That Henley shirt is giving me 2000’s Hollister vibes.
Hi Rach you got some good things, I like the half zip sweater the most. I find you funny to watch, your so honest n down to earth. Thanks for being you n cheering me up x
Wow, you look amazing... the combo of your energy, makeup, hair, and great lighting!!!! I keep hitting pause to look at your eye makeup!!! LOVE IT!!! 🥰
It’s like Rach knew it was my birthday. So happy every time you post a video on either channels. You are always so happy and bubbly, and you make me smile. Thank you for your continued posting and positivity. 😊
Happy birthday Victoria!! ❤
When Rachel says "To be fair" and her sister goes "to be fair". 🤣🤣 Letterkennyyyyyyyy
So subtle and perfect touch.😂
I just ran into the kitchen to show my husband that part 😂
not sure if you've tried this trick but, painting cheap earring posts with clear nail polish helps prevent sensitive reactions. it wears off over time, but definitely helps make them wearable.
YAS! to the sleeve length problem for women with long elegant arms. I know how you feel
I love my Loop earplugs! It took me a couple tries to get them to seal properly when I put them in because they fit a little different than regular earplugs.
Yes! Exactly! I have the same trouble with arm length and sleeves. I love spring, summer and fall since I don't have to have long sleeves on.
My husband got me that hand thing for mother's day this year b/c of the popularity on amazon. I pop it out every once in a while b/c of the gesture, but not sure what all of the hype is about-ha. I am also with you on the arms. If a shirt doesn't cover at least part of my hand, it is a no go.
I have both the Loop Quiet and Experience and I must say I really love the Experience ones! They still let a bit of noice through so I can have a conversation, but it lowers the background noice quit significantly and that has allowed me to go out to restaurants and such with my friends or family and actually have a good time! Im however not that happy with my Quiet ones as I dont feel they take that much noice :)
Caught the "to be fair" reference. Like the vest, would love to see the wins styled different ways
Fellow long arm babe here…I totally feel you lol 💕 no one understands the struggle!
I have a similar hand massager by Breo. The pressure actually helps with carpal tunnel. I use mine after stapling many documents & my wrists get sore. It does help. Not a spa massage, but more for pain relief.
FOR SENSITIVE EARS: my go to is clear nail polish on the part that goes into the ear! Worked wonders for me
Or you could just buy earrings made for sensitive ears
Tip: Don’t put your sweatshirt in the dryer, hang it on a hanger after the wash. Love your videos!
I do this. I also pull on the sleeves a little while it's wet to make it them long again. I too have long arms and hate when my sleeves do as she showed.
The hanger stretches out the shoulders :(
@@MsWnDrLnD get different hangers. They make smaller ones
@@MsWnDrLnD do NOT put in DRYER

Hey Rach, love your stuff!
Life hack - a layer of clear nail polish on cheap jewellery will stop ears from getting iritated 👌🏼
Your make up and hair are 100/10 in this video like you are seriously glowing 🤩
When your sis did the Letterkenny 'to be fair' 😂 It's engrained in my personality now too.
As a fellow long girl, I’d love to see you do a video on the best tall/long clothing options 👍🏼
Mee too… I am 5.9 with very long arms and legs and always strugle to find right lenght of sleeves or pants… it is nightmare. Not every clothing brend making sizes for tall people and if they do quality is not that good.
I use the Loop earplugs on a regular basis to dampen my husband snores, plus, I also use them at concerts. They are so fantastic! They cut out everything that needs to be cut out but leave the things you want to hear😊
Pain the stems of the hoops with clear nail polish!!!!!! Works like a charm to prevent irritation
They actually have the same puffer vest on amazon but with pockets. I love mine!
I’m first!!🎉. The lipstick is literally the same shade of your lips when you wiped off the previous balm lol😂
This is the first video of yours I've ever watched. You are so 😎
It's like I wanted to watch to know the answer about the products but you also are so witty and quick with the most hilarious reactions.
Love it!!
🌹
Need more Canadian Amazon videos!!!! 💜💜💜💜love you
My sister has a pair of Loop earplugs, though I don't know what series she has (there are currently three), but she likes them a lot. She wears them when she go to festivals and events when it gets too much for her and she also likes wearing them when she's at work, which can also get noisy.
I have a hand massager similar to the one you have and I love it. I have arthritis in my hands and it helps relieve the pain and swelling. Mine is the Breo brand.
Those earrings - I'm gonna need to buy those asap! 😍 Love hoops!
Oh my gosh I got so excited to see the vented wet brush, It's been my go-too brush for years so neat to see it in one of your videos! Also have been using an extremely similar earplugs for work and at home for a few months now.(I think they were by Loop?)
Just a funny coincidence and it kinda brightened my day lol
Hey Rachel, I don’t know if you’ve looked into it yet but Madewell makes some great jewelry in that style that’s a bit more high quality. Some of their pieces are heavier but they don’t irritate my ears the way cheap earrings do. Just an option!
My FIL has arthritis in his hands and he loves his hand massager. He says the heat, pressure, and stretching help a lot especially when it starts to get cold and rainy. He uses it daily.
Rach’s editing is my favorite 😂
My dad has arthritis and carpal tunnel and this massager really helps relieve some pain and help get some motion back
So weird the earplugs didn’t work. I use those (after years of trying all kinds of earplugs) and they changed my life. I have noise sensitivity and I’m such a light sleeper and those are the best. However I did have to use the XS size and there is a very specific way that you have to put them on so they work. Like you kinda have to twist them in and lay them flat
Yes! I was trying that - I heard so many incredible things and I found just putting in my earbuds and not turning them on worked so much better? I'll have to try sizing down again to XS and see if that helps
To be faiiiiiiiiir!
Love you! Please keep the awesome content coming!
Arm thing is very relatable, a wish list of things that have long enough arms would be so cool
the outtro has me SO hyped for next week- also those earplugs are a definite maybe!
@Krista Cooper - that's so funny that you heard about the clear polish from your Pediatrician! I came here to the comments to say the exact same thing! It's surprising sometimes that there are so many people that don't know this "Hack". If your skin is super sensitive to metals, you can also put Clear Polish on the back of pendants (like on necklaces) or even the inside of rings. I learned this from my Grandma who was a Pediatric Nurse her whole life! That's why I was so humored by how you had heard about it! 😂💖😊💝
Good info on Loops. I wear earplugs A LOT for misophonia. But I've been curious about these. Also, most ear buds hurt a lot so I'm curious how these fit and feel.
I have them and I LOVE them. Based on the very short clip, I don't think Rachel put them in correctly.
They are amazing, Rachel didn't seem to put them in correctly from how they looked when she showed them.
Yay new video! Thursday made! 😄
Omg. I totally understand the arms issue. Drives me crazy. The struggle is real!!!!
Love the Letterkenny/Rachh Loves "to be fair" crossover moment!
I tried that winxylux balm 😂 I got the clear one bc I liked that you could see the "confetti" more, haha. It's too pink imo, so I don't wear it often. But it was cute and cheap so I'm not mad about it 😅
Same here chicky, it was nearly neon 🤯, it's now in the deep dark depths of my makeup, probably never to be seen til I'm barbie at Halloween!!
I caught the Letter Kenny quote and I am here for it
Here for the clothes review, as I’m also part of the long arm club! Love these reviews!!
As a fellow long armed lady, I wash it in cold water then while wet I pull in the arms to stretch the fabric then let air dry. It definitely helps. I don’t put in the dryer
aerie Henley shirts are my addiction. I buy like 4/6 every year because they tend to only have new style released every holiday season. Really aerie in general is where I get most my clothes because the leggings with pockets ( non negotiable for me..must must have functional pockets ) but leggings come in xlong lengths which I need.
I used to LOVE everything aerie until they removed the review ratings. Now there's no way to know if the fit is going to work with my body type or not :(
Long arms here. Buying affordable winter coats is my most dreaded activity, nothing covers my wrists ever
Ohhh your makeup is popping!❤
Drill a few small holes in the back of the solid brush for drainage :)
The hand massager sounds like the eye massager/headache mask I got from Amazon. It plays nature sounds and applies mild heat and pressure to your eyes to relieve headaches and migraines
That actually sounds really nice!!
Does it work? Or help? I suffer chronic migraines and I really need to try anything that may help!
@@alana2836 I have gotten relief from tension headaches with it. The mask has always been conveniently somewhere else when I could really use it for a migraine. It's definitely worth a try!!
I love winkylux ❤their rose blush and lip balms are awesome.
Loved this one! So tempted to get the skims bodysuit! Already excited for the next video!
Love your makeup today!
I bought the same earring set & I love the same pair you put in! They are the cutest
I found it super cool to learn you're more sensitive to sound like I am. Though to be fair, I wear those ear defenders used for power tools just to deal with traffic sounds half the time. Good to learn about new options and whether they're good or not :D
If it helps at all, many people commented that Rach may have put the Loop ear buds in wrong and that they actually work very well. They said once they are in correctly, you will notice a huge difference in the sound dampening. Just figured I'd let you know in case you were thinking about getting a pair.😊
Hey there! Im thankful for all the laughs even more than actual recommendations 🌺 but i was thinking: are you up to trying beauty diys for hair n skin? Max three ingredients, nothing not found in any kitchen 😁 that would be awesome.. and i already have a few i have tried myself so curious to see what works for other ppl and what doesnt without spending too much. Like cheap challenge of sorts 😉
I have same issue with earrings what I do that helps I paint them with clear nail polish, only the part that goes or touches the skin, that way the nail polish acts like a barrier.
I’m on board with you with washing hair brush often. I think it’s the first time I hear someone on you tube saying they wash their brush often ! Everyone I know NEVER washes their hair brushes 🤮 yikes … that’s why I hate those brushes like this amazon ones you tested
I have the quarter zip and it runs short in thr sleeves. I'm short and never have issues with sleeve length but this one I did! Still love it tho
Rachel Your hair looks sooo good in this video! 🙌🏻 What tool did you use for those curls?!?! OMG- Obsessed with that cropped lil puffer-esq vest! Super cute!
😅😅😅 your face when u used the machine 😂😂😂 I can’t u made my day ❤
I’m loving the Winky Lux color on you!!
The hand massager is for lymphatic hand massage. It helps people with swelling and stiffness.
Also I totally understand ur issue w/ legs & arms being too long for most clothes!
I loved this video! I found several gift ideas!!! Tysm
Love your videos Rachel! Just one suggestion- Can you amplify the voice a little bit when you aren't in your usual studio setup? Same goes for Rachh Loves Life videos. Thanks! :)
Rachel, I need to know. Lauren's "to be fairrrrr"...was that a Letter Kenny reference? LOVE THAT SHOW!!
Rachel you are Amazing. I love your videos. Can you do a tutorial on your makeup look?
For the earrings... Put some clear nail polish on the them and they won't irritate you anymore because you have a barrier between the metal and your ear...
What!! That's so cool, thank you!!
I have arthritis and I have a different version of that hand massager - it's been a lifesaver when my hands are cramping! Mine also warms and has a few more levels.
I'm with you on the long arms thing. I have several sweaters/shirts that I just have to remember to not stretch my arms LOL
Love the Langdon Hall book in the back. My parents had their wedding there. KitchWat for the win! Sorry... Tricities...
I loved that you talked about arm length of that zip up, too short arms drive me crazy too! 😅
Ok….your makeup in the video and lipstick has to be (if not already) YOUR signature go to look. You look stunning! Eyes are popping. Lip color is gorgeous. Love this look on you. Also, kinda need that vest and great gift idea for my daughters. Love your sister! Or is it sis in law? Same diff really
I totally cracked up at the Letterkenny "to be fair" 🤣
I have Loop Quiet to deal with noise sensitivity cause of ptsd and they're amazing to me!
Me yelling at my TV saying Thanos acting like yall could hear me 🤣🤣
Ok putting your arms on the videos was super cute lol😂❤
I think I agree with many of the comments. If the Loops didn't dampen sounds then you had them on wrong. There is a QR code in the box with a link to the instruction video. You need to put the plugs in with the loop towards the front of your face, then rotate them so that they are flush with your ear and have created a good suction. It doesn't work if you just put them in. I vote for a retest, I'm sure she'll love them.
For the hairbrush, I’d try to see if the two parts are separable. I have a few like that and i take the back off before i clean them and then dry it before snapping it back together!
I was a nanny for many years then I had my own kids, I have a super power I think where I can literally tune people out especially the kids. It has always drove my husband nuts that I can do that and he can’t lol my kids can be fighting in the backseat of the car like lunatics and I could sit up front just listening to the radio just fine and hear everything I’m listening to. I thought it was just a mommy radar kind of thing but evidently not, I stand by I have a super power.
